Where to buy a USB cable?? - Galaxy Tab 10.1 General

So right now I'm in key west and left my USB cable for my tab in Ohio (doh!). Are there any retail stores that sell USB cables for this device? I tried Kmart, radio shack, office depot, and best buy. Why doesn't anyone sell a cable for this thing!?!? What a PITA
Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

As far as I know the only way to buy them is through Samsung or Amazon.

Many mobile phone accessory shops sell the USB cable

OK thanks I'll check around some more I found one at brandsmart USA made by belkin but it was $30 for the cable!
Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

no, you can get them for a few $. Genuine ones are slightly more expensive.

So you're talking about like the small accessory stores or stands at various shopping centers?

Anyone have an extra xoom charger for sale?

Mine got bitten up by a dog. Anyone wanna sell me theirs? Thanks!
Sent from my iPhone 4s using Tapatalk
Have a spare, sent mine back twice and got a charger each time.
i have an extra one
Go buy a charging dock from Verizon. It includes a standard charger and they are on clearance right now for $9.97. Even if you don't use the dock it'd chapter than just buying the charger which for some reason is still $30. I also heard Staples had Xoom accessories on sale for super cheap.

ebay has plenty. I bought a non OEM one for $10 (they included a car chager as well). also bought an official moto one of ebay for $8 this past week as a backup.

I have one but it probably wouldn't be worth it to you by the time shipping costs are included. As stated, just go to a Verizon store and get one for 10 bucks.

Got one from the vzn store!! Thanks man. Dock for $15 and leather folio case for the same price

I know the OP was able to grab what they needed from Verizon, but for others who may be looking, another option is the HD Speaker Dock. If you can FIND one, they're going for $20 new from Verizon as clearance (prolly to make room for the Xyboard accessories). I went in person to a VW store and lucked out, getting the last one they had. I don't think (not willing to try it) you can plug the more powerful power source straight into the Xoom itself as an alternative to using the dock, but I have to say having the HDMI port in the back of the dock and the speakers is pretty nice, at $20 a pop.
I picked up a couple at a local Staples for $1.50 each. I have one extra I don't really see using.
If you're local in central CT I'd happy to give it away to someone who would use it.

Best source for cheap cables and other accesories

I thought I would share my favorite source for cheap usb cables and basically anything else. monoprice honestly, there stuff is decent quality and insanely cheap. this is my Micro USB of choice for only $0.72!!! order a lot so shipping isn't so stupid. I hate to pay $5.00 for shipping for a $1.00 order. Enjoy, and don't forget to thank me if you like this!
Been using it for years. great website.

I have few of these kind of cables lying around.
I will sell you for $4 shipped !
LOL
Bought some micro usb cables from them like couple weeks ago. Great quality and they were cheap also

I love monoprice also! Great site for cables on the cheap. But like you said, I hate having to spend more on shipping than I do for the actual cable. That's why I usually make a list of cables I need (maybe 2 or 3 at the very least) so the shipping is justified.
Awesome. Thanks, guys!

Costco Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

Not sure if this is common knowledge here, but Costco sells this tab for 240$ with a case. Just figured I'd let y'all know.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Yes, it's been posted a few times. They also offer the tab 2 10.1 with case for 379.99 at selected stores.
.
Oh okay sorry for the repeat thread.
Mods delete this if you want.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I might be wrong but I think it is more of a pouch than the actual case. Costco has the same offer on the 10.1 for $379.99
It is just a pouch, but it works good for me.

Picked it up to try but looks like I'll be returning..
- No ad hoc WiFi support
- No standard USB port to charge (must use Samsung cable to USB charge)
- Nearly every Gameloft game doesn't support 7"
- A few EA games work but are a bit sluggish
I really like it otherwise and would recommend if the above do not matter, but they are deal breakers for me. I tried a 10" too and find that 7" is mo betta for a mobile device. 10" just too big for me.
Nice thing about Costco is easy to return.

There is a way for ad hoc support. Few forums on that topic. Can use a previous wpa_supplicant file and replace it. Won't get into logistics but the tab needs to be rooted and permissions changed on the file and using Wi-Fi Tether change to a device profile w/SoftAp and you got tethering wirelessly. FYI.
Too bad for proprietary charger and games but extremely mobile.

I could see how not having a standard USB port would bother people, but that's nothing new to Samsung. Chances are that when people are doing their research online that they will see that.
I bought mine from BJ's Warehouse last weeek as it was on sale for $229 with the offical leather samsung pouch. (Samsung sells the pouch for $49 but I would not have paid for that as a separate accessory).
The tab was $20 bucks off but I purchased an extended 2 year warranty for $20 which includes accidental coverage. That gives three years total warranty, including the Mfr one year warranty (without accidental coverage).
If you are going to buy form BJ's they only have a 15 day return period for tablets but I have never had any return hassels from them.
I gave my wife my Original Verizon Samsung Tab 7 and I think she is hooked now on it.

Also, that's a great deal you got. I paid full price ($250) from Best Buy with full insurance for a year ($80 (Includes idiocy protection... I mean accident protection), since it will be my main device for basically everything) and feel like I got a little jipped but can definitely live with it since this is a GREAT tablet.

Well, it is not advertised, but the same $239.99 + pouch at all Costco locations. I bought mine there last week, call ahead, alot of stores sold out over the weekend.
Prices in store for Costco are always lower than they are online for their electronics from what I've seen. It could also be related to specials that are running for certain time periods with the coupon booklets they send out.
Well I'm not an expert, but I do travel a bit and end up visiting a few Costco stores. There is no sale or coupon. Some stores have the 7 inch and some stores have the 10 inch, while others have neither. They both come with a sleeve. $239 for the 7 inch and $379.00 for the 10 inch. With the addition of sales tax and not wanting the sleeve anyway, I bought mine online YMMV.

Don't know exactly if there's any CDMA variant, but as long as it's a GSM version it should work fine.
Since it's unlocked, the phone should work in any compatible GSM network. So yes.
as long as the radio bands match. i assume gsm bands are standard.
i have buy the nexus 4 on USA playstore and use it in italy whitout problem
Every single Nexus 4 is exactly the same. Doesn't matter where you buy it from.

I bought a nexus for someone there in Italy, I'm in the us.. May I please ask what ac power adapter you use to charge your phone? Also, is there any online store you'd recommend for accessories etc where I can pay with a US card? I hope you can help me out =)
Thanks
They're all international Nexus 4s. I don't it matter where you buy it. It'll be the same as the one from another country. My friend has a Nexus 4 from the U.K and it's the same one as if it was bought from the U.S play store.

But what about the power outlets? Does the nexus 4 come with an international charger and different outlet adaptors? I get that it's the same phone, I'm just concerned about the power outlets as they are different in Italy than in the US.
Stock AC charger is a piece of sh1t. Included USB cable is OK. Just get an ac to USB charger for your country. Problem solved. Good day.

I have a question: on the google store, if i press on "shop now", it says that devices are not supported in my country (italy).
Then how am i supposed to buy it? is there any website that offers the same prices? If you order it outside the google store, its price rises from 299$ to 410$ (saw it on Amazon.com) which i think is crazy.

I don`t think 410 dollars (317 euro`s, for the 16GB i assume) is crazy for a high end phone like the N4. The S4 pre-order price of 699 euro`s that`s crazy

Oneplus 5T [AUSTRALIAN DISCUSSION]

It looks like OnePlus isn't selling their new flagship through the OnePlus website directly to aus. So again we will need to look elsewhere to buy it.
So where will you be buying ur phone?
Also share u thoughts and experiences with getting the phone down under.
500 USD to Aud is 660
550 USD to Aud is 730
I'll be looking to buy this phone.
I've heard Australia post ships from the us and also other 3rd party shipping addresses in the US that ship to au. Which is your favourite and most reliable?
Can't you just buy through Amazon? That's how I bought my OP3. They ship to Australia right?
Amazon are supposedly going to officially launch in the coming weeks. Hopefully we can get it from there.
Otherwise what are the main grey import sorted?
Gearbest
Banggood
Geekbuying
Eglobal
eBay (when they have the 10%-20% off sales)

I have been using LG 6 currently but now its time to change my mind and I'm thinking of buying OnePlus, I'm not sure tax may be involved or not.
I search about customs tax and I find out if the product is below 1000$ au arrived in Australia via air mail or different postage there is no tax,but if you order came with DHL or Fedex definitely will pay tax because with DHL or FedEx limit is 250$au.

So basically any usb wall adapter may work? I've got Samsung, iPhone and a belkin one kicking around at home now. I thought it might've had to have been specific wattage or something like Samsung have for quick charge.
