there is nothing to brief. i have install it over MIUI 1.12. installed patch and cannot connect to APN network at all. So i am back to MIUI.

Did you have official gb installed? It says it is required. I installed it but got a bootloop. Now trying again with full wipe.
EDIT: Yeah, it seems like it doesn't work for me. Goes into bootloop.

We need to have the gingerbread of huwai install to install this on it?

i have installed and tried. seems some apps cannot access the sd card, or is there any extra setting?

I tried it. 1st reboot, succeed. After rebooting again, stack on bootloop. I wander does it support ext partition. My installed apps were gone. And why is the boot animation is CM9 when it should be MIUI? Hope a more updated version of this rom will come out. Thank you.

OK, installed and running after 3 'loading' attempts.

No audio including incall audio as in most of the newer rom builds.
YouTube doesn't work.
Theme chooser is broken as well.
Haven't run into any other issues yet.

OK I am back
It didn't take a day ,reverted back to pa, since there is no audio whatsoever(as adizz4 reported)
bugs:-
1)WiFi takes a lot of time to switch on
2)WiFi hotspot shows error and doesn't switch on
3)I found the touch too slippery(it just slipped ,too smooth)
4)Lags a bit in settings (here and there.Not consistent)
5)The Ram bar in recent menu shows wrong stats(amount of ram that is consumed is shown more)
6)Keyboard animation is annoying(if u could switch that off)
7)The caller Screen takes some amount of time to revert as soon as I dismiss a call
Overall the rom is smooth and classy. A hell lot of features and surprisingly most of them work(if not all).The ROM is pretty feature rich and cool.Everything else worked for me.Again this may not be pretty accurate and maybe there are more bugs .As soon as the audio and WiFi is fixed this ROM can be released as there are no major bugs other than that.Thank you for contributing and making this cool ROM

EDIT:-1)Adizz4 was right,even theme manager is broken .Ended up in a boot loop
2)Constant dsp manager crashes

I'm only aware of this one and a cm14 but both are far from stable. The most problem on both is data, it ain't working.

I want to use it for few days to experience android 7. Should i go for it or wait for a stable build ? Also , i am on wiko , android 5 stock rom . My device is unrooted and without any twrp , so what to flash and any guide for that ??

I would advice you to wait a more stable build. You can't even make a call with this build. But if you still wanna test it give us more info bout your device. What wiko model.

Yeah you should wait but it's gonna take some time.
For the root and recovery of your phone they are explained in the topic you linked. Just use kingroot to root it and there is a recovery in the topic you linked.

I have try to root this rom wide kingoroot, root genius, unlock root and UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76, but every time i try, the smartphone reboot and stay at boot loop, any sugestion? I have a wiko rainbow 4gb.

There is no root for this rom yet. It is stated in the original thread.

Hey guys I made this thread to discuss about a custom rom known as CARBON ROM , I'm sure all of you know and have tested the build from 7th Jan

Im currently using the latest 23jan build. Rom is preety smooth nd battery life is also fine and i havnt come across any new bugs, so the old/known bugs are
1)camera is dark and autofocus is broken
2)echo in call
3)torch sometimes does work when toggled from quick settings.

I have tested latest build (107). My micro sd card is missing....my internal archive (all zip file about rom and gapps) is empty and when reboot always appear the first configuration.
For now I turn on build 104 dated 04/01/17

I used build 07.01, i cant use torch, Sd card.. I'm actually on PureNexus 07.01 and it's very good, the only problem that I have is torch not working

First extract the boot image from the zip file, flash it through fastboot then flash twrp using fastboot also start the phone by holding power and volume down to get to recovery do a wipe (system, data & caches) install rom and enjoy

Camera is WIP. It Is the same quality as aosp nougat. Autofocus is broken nd pictures are very dark. If u need camera as primary then I won't suggest this rom or Any other nougat rom.we will have to wait till new blobs are released.

These ROMs are installed just fine with TWRP 3.0.0-0
