hello friends I have a problem here with my defy + my camera is reversed, what happened was this my defy + was the MB525 only it was to install a rom of defy + ai changed the kernel so it got mb526 more before it gets to mb526 the camera was already reversed've tried several SBF and nothing, finally tried a SBF BL7 solved and to see if anything remains domesmo way would very much appreciate if anyone could ever help me with a SBF or some camera FIX desdija thanks for the help

Now My Battery And Camera didnt work,
After root Bootloader 7 I try Any Rom to Flash and I have bootloader Error.
Please Help!
ypu have to flash a custom rom with for gb kernel. try cm72 from quarks for defy+.

so flash the sbf to get your phone back to life and try those

You are pretty much stuck!! Follow the steps here to root you rphone first. Now you can install only those ROMs which are meant for Defy but they won't have green lens support! So after flashing any such ROM you need to check if there is a camera fix and if that exists you are lucky!!

Froyo kernel for green lens bootloader 7 ?
Hello everyone, I can't find a Nandroid for Moto DEFY, for be more precise its the Defy Plus Ported for Normal (old) DEFY with red lent... All I remember it was a German Firmware with GB 2.3.5
It was uploaded to W.U. but its broken now.
And i cant find it on XDA.

Edit 06/05/2012: Solved, red lents are compatible with defy+ firmware, so I just installed a retail FW for Defy+ and works great. For green lents, it need to be moddified.

I have green lense defy on which I have accidentally flashed full sbf of defy plus & now on BL7.
Is there any update on BL 7 Crack as on today??
Camera is working now on these kinds of defy after quarks custom kernels ( 2nd boot rom ), So many thanks for such development.:laugh:
But suppose we want to go for stable rom of cm 7 or any other build based on cm 7 or cm 9 then camera becomes dead again:crying:
So its Request for all Developers either to crack BL7 or create a ramdisk / custom kernel for CM7 / CM9..
It will help thousand of users who have accidentally flashed full sbf of defy+ on their green lense defy.

So, if your Defy has the red lense or the Bayer module camera, would you or have you upgraded to the Defy+ software?
I did, it runs pretty good. Rooted and loaded CM10 by Quarx and it's running just fine.

Hi everyone i tried too much for run CM10.2 or CM11 on my dear Defy but i have some problems
i have installed just the tutorials said, but my phone still have the sames problem, i ask in GrupoAndroid but them cant help me so i ask here if us can find a solution
some data from my defy:
MB525 BL7 now with CM10.1
i have installed TWRP 2.6.3.0 for install CM11 but still having the Set_metadata_recursive problem
in CM10.2 after install the rom, phone boot up but when the M logo ends (with led green) it goes to a black screen by 5 sec and restart (bootloop)
i can only install CM10 and CM10.1 without problems
i have tried using germany and misty SBFs as base for install CM but still having the same problem

PD: i have 2 defys MB525 and both have the same problem
