has any one have problems syncquing the contens to google drive.. well i have and found the following..
1.- ics memo app from google wont sync over google drive,,, it sync only whit docs.
2.- every time i check on login status i need to login again,,
3.- cant send single or multiple files to google drive,, file extension *.vnt
never mind first two point,, i found out that you need to update the memo to get updated on google drive,, it works but only whit the memo updated,, so if you want to keep a copy of your memos on google drive... simple
1.- go to memo apps and open the memo you need to get sync over google drive..
2.- select edit and click space and then save,, and bouala done...
3.- then select menu and sync,, if you are log out login again,, you find strange that on login screen still says GOOGLE DOCS...
4.- no worries do a sync and then go to your google drive account and see your files,, the files name is the date... lock and see..

Recently I flashed my phone, so it missed all the files on the storage.
Now I want to install google play store back on. Apart using the tool which in Mi store, I used to install few services/apk from google manually.
I have installed the google play services apk, and the google play store icon shows on the phone, but if I click it, it tried to launch and just stopped/crashed. I remember I need some other services as well. But I couldn't remember what they are.
Can anyone remind me what other services I need to install, please?

Try moving com.android.vending-1.apk from DATA/APP to /system/app/ and rename it to "vending.apk".
Also, check if you have all of ththe apk installed on your device:
GoogleServicesFramework.apk
ContactsSyncAdapter.apk
CalendarSyncAdapter.apk
Google Play.apk
Lemme know if it helps. If not, I have but still one solution. Gonna post it later.

google play need play service as core then install play store. and the version should match

I just installed the following apk's:
Googleplayservices
Googleplaystore
Googleframework
Googleloginservice
Kinda sounds like a regional issue.
You need to go to mi-assistant and set Google play services as auto-run on. I also downloaded all the google apps available to get it to work...
After I turned auto-run on for mi assistant I did a restart and when I tried to log into google/play store it asked for my log in details.

No, in Australia my bank app works...
If you have another rooted device you might be able to copy and send the apk file to the Axon 7 and side load it though you will need to tick the install third party app option in security settings...
In lollipop you go to root directory and then data then apps to find most apk files....
I have root my P9 Lite but after this i can not use Playstore and my Google Account is not here. Also i can not create a new Google Account. What can i do? I have delete the Cache from the Google Apps but not help.

Backup your phone, fully reset it, root and then restore all your data , install superSU and it should be fine.

i will guide you to get Pie OTA without factory reset or wipe data it's easy way to get pie
1- Remove your Sim card
2- Disable GPS from Setting
3- Go to Date & time , Disable Automatic time zone and Select Amsterdam
4- Go to Users & Accounts and Remove all google accounts linked on your phone
5- Download this VPN : https://bit.ly/2qlI1s1 and select Netherlands
6- Go to Apps & Notifications -> See all apps -> and Clear data for following apps (Google , Google Play Services , Google Play Store , Google Play Framwork , LocationServices)
7- Go to Update and Check Update
8- Congrats!! your Pie is ready

It is Google services Framework that must be clear to receive update + the google, google play services and locatuon services.
Plus after clearing go back to the vpn app and reactivate the tunnel.
Do not put sim back until update will be installed

I get it before this post, but it's similar. In my case, I just changed the system language to English (for view all the apps mentioned) instead of timezone. And don't needed to remove my accounts (even Google accounts). Gps off and without SIM cards. About the apps to clear data, when clear Google Services Framework, it's recomended to force stop too. After all, I start vpn in India server and try to update. And it's done! Very similar. Works for me. Maybe works for someone else.

I've tried it with Torguard VPN, it didn't work but after using Psiphon Pro VPN it works.

I did it couple of times, no harms done.

With method of the OP it worked to upgrade to pie.
But as already forecasted in your post, push notifications stopped working properly after upgrading.
Workaround without factory resetting the whole ROM seems to be reinstalling the apps which need Google Cloud messaging services, to obtain a new ID. E.g. for WhatsApp, that worked for me.
So think twice if this trouble is worth to you.

Run this command in a root terminal then reboot and reopen the apps, no need to reinstall, though I still recommend a factory reset
find /data/data -name com.google.android.gms.appid.xml | xargs rm

Push notifications of what apps? On my phone i did twice (clear data from framework) and push notifications are working as they should be.
PS: U don't need to remove your google account to do the process. Wiping the apps do the trick.

For me in WhatsApp, the german weather app "WarnWetter" and Xing.
I'll observe if other issues come up and will then consider a factory reset.

It's true, you won't receive notifications from many apps like twitch, restoring backup from titanium backup has the same effect, but running the command above is enough to solve it

Since not everyone is rooted,and from my experience,a factory reset is the only safe solution available after resetting GSF data!
I think waiting for an OTA update, is easier than looking how to fix things on you're device.
