Just when 4.0.3 drops, we are old news again lol
yeah saw that but im sure we will get it at some point or should i hope

I saw that this afternoon too. But in the Engadget article he says they are pushing out to the git repos. What I found interesting was that Xoom got a taste of 4.0.4 today.
http://m.engadget.com/default/class...n-this-time-over-at-aosp/&icid=eng_latest_art
I was just about this post this! If xoom gets an update i am sure we tf101 users will also get one. Also Asus is still debugging the random reboots if we may believe grag
I thought part of the point of using version control systems and such (like git) was that it makes source updates quicker and easier to merge into existing stuff?
Will it be a lengthy process for existing AOSP ROMs to be updated to 4.0.4? I'm trying to avoid asking for an ETA, just wanna know, in the scheme of things, how much (or little) trouble it's going to be for those lovely devs.
if you are running AOKP then you shall have an update soon.
I'm new to android what is AOSP and AOKP?

Also team EOS Nightly 17 have the 4.0.4.

Who cares what Asus delivers at this point? We have AOKP now, and that is a million times better.
I'm sure we will have 4.0.4 via AOKP within a week. I already have it on my Galaxy Nexus

On my Galaxy Nexus there is a world of difference between former 4.0.3-based AOKP build and the current 4.0.4-based build. A. world. of. difference. Performance and smoothness is maddening.
Deep inside I know I'm being overly optimistic, but if we can any sort of improvement like that on our TF101s as well, I wont regret not waiting for the prime

What reboot problems? ASUS have not released official 4.0.4.
4.0.4 is in AOSP repo so only custom ROMs for TF101 will have 4.0.4 until ASUS releases a OTA.

I know I know. Like I said: I'm running it on my Nexus (updated that first) and there is a world of difference in performance between that and the former build.
Hoping for the same for my TF101
Well, i've been testing CM9 4.0.4 build for a day now, and i can't really tell the diference.
Even ran some benchs and the performance is about the same.
No reboots, but i never had then with CM9.
Maybe still work to be done.
this is a first porting of cm10.1 for u8800pro i dont testing but i found some screen

about jellybean...
Our Chinese friends have ported the ShengDu 4.1 ROM (Cyanogenmod 10) from x5pro to our device.
I use this rom about 3 days..my pre-verdict - good.
Camera is work, USB - ADB, flashdrive and modem - work, BT - work (!), WiFi - maybe too
But it seems, ProjectButter not working - have small lags in interface's animation and slower than Aurora (imho). On Atmel screens don't work keyboard backlight and feedback, but the ROM nice working with Aurora's kernel.
And battery will discharge very quickly..

Make an Miui port is so easy, do u wanna do it? My internet is so slow, so I cannot upload it good. Just PM and I say you how to do. U only will take the time Miui needs for be downloaded and the other CM 10, and u will have Miui on 10 minutes.
But the cm10 are all 4.2.2 and I think miui is 4.1.2.
Will it work?
Also using a cm10 as base wouldn't the miui keep the same bugs such as BT etc?

That looks a bit like oguzhan mobile's CM10. And I am pretty sure it has problems.
And yes, if you use a ROM with bugs for a port, the port will have the same bugs.

You can easily say that because your U8800+ is not going through the same crisis as our U8800.
Well, will he have miui v5 or not?
I started to port ShenduOs (4.1.2) (based on CM10). If I will success, I will try to port MIUIv5 too.
I'm trying to fix RIL now. ShenduOs is based on 404029 baseband, but u8800 has 404020 baseband.

Hi forumber!
Which specific kernel are you using? I am using dzo's kernel which is on his github, and I am using the newkernel branch. I cannot fix wifi because of the kernel being recognized as the wrong kernel by the wifi modules. So, if you are using dzo's kernel, which branch is it from?
