Much faster switching and locking. Works great. IMO much better then previous leaks. Havent tested speed yet. But streaming was fine. I heart the new radio.

From what I understand its based off the new ginger bread leak that is the closest to the upcoming official over the air update.

I will be making the switch later after lunch. I like the sounds of a new theory ROM!

I heard they were doing a 3.0 style lockscreen for aosp..seeing as how the lockscreen is included in most gb sense roms I was thrown off when he said it would be an 'addon'...? Sorry for any confusion lol

If you already flashed over a new kernel, you can probably just reflash the whole ROM to get zig's kernel back.

What radio do you use and is it built into the ROM? Do I flash radio seperately?

What I would do is flash the rom first and the radio in bootloader. Cuz if you flash the radio first and then try to get into recovery, it will just keep asking to flash the radio. So flash the rom first and then flash the radio in bootloader

the camcorder fix... does it then disable audio & just allow video-only recording or will it work normally?

Liked it...but had issues:
- Was not receiving text messages. They went out ok, but nothing in
- The lock screen freeze thing was more than just wait a moment, missed two calls because I couldn't get anything to work to activate screen
Other than that, it was peppy and I was liking what I saw

screen shots will come, for now basic MIUI rom. Nothing added, nothing taken away.
This of course will change.
Once I get data working, SMS should fall right in and hopefully MMS will not be too far behind.
Data is my first priority of course. Dropping in the themes and fixing up the minor errors popping up will come afterward.

Sweet! Got high hopes for this Rom.

FM radio, 4G indicator, music sound via headphones. I hope these are addressed woo hoo!

How to install AlienMOD Mecha roms:

2) Boot into your favorite custom recovery
3) Wipe Data / Factory Reset
4) Wipe Cache

7) Install AlienMOD Mecha
8) Reboot / Enjoy
**You must update SuperSU after you establish internet connection or the phone will act like it is not rooted. Just tap the normal update option when you go into SuperSU​

I went from old Evo 4G to Evo 3D myself. My wife kept complaining about her stock rom on the T-bolt. This phone has a lot of potential so I thought I'd start development here too

great we have samsung ui, sony ui...i wonder if any ported motorola and LG ui for Thunderbolt:good:

So... I've flashed and been running the Rom for a bit now. Most excellent Rom! I removed a few apps I don't use, gmail, google books, VZW backup, and city ID, and all is well. I'm curious, what is the the VZW_Remote_Tool.apk in the system folder used for? I'll see how battery life is, but so far, great work, well worth a try for anyone on the fence.

-there is no facebook for htc sense in friendstream
-for non vzw user will see "this sim card frm unknown location" on lockring...:crying:
-my GPS seems cant lock my position for long time..

Walking counter does force close, and adventure training as well, likely due to walking counter. I was unable to get a GPS lock, even after trying GPS assistance data. As I don't see the facebook for HTC sense app, the exclusion of it from friendstream isn't a bug. It's also unlikely that a Verizon user can duplicate or remedy the unknown SIM issue...

I found out what this app update VZW_Remote_Tool.apk is. It aids customer service reps to tap into your phone via remote to repair any issues. "I don't think I would like that"... I may remove it on next update but will leave that up to everyone If you like, just uninstall it with ES File Explorer.

Great information, thank you. I'll cut that one out too. I had just never seen that one before, likely because I always ran custom roms, and it was removed by the devs of them. I look forward to any update(s) to this. The theming and overall fluidity of the Rom is very nice. Hopefully, you'll be able to figure GPS, I didn't look through the files for it at any great length, but was able to obtain GPS locks without issue on nandroids of two other roms, and had a solid data connection throughout.

Hmm. Any word on gps?

Yeah, I've been running it for about 4 hours now with Twiated's StarKissed Kangerade Core kernel. Been running very nice.

I ran this ROM for a day, and had a strong GPS lock the whole time. After I installed the ROM, I turned on all the GPS options and it locked instantly. Even indoors I never lost my GPS lock.
