Just for the record, whoever you are have no reason to be "scared" or anything like that by contacting me. Obviously we don't care that you're rooting your phone since we've helped you everytime, it's just getting to the point that someone seriously needs to help you out. Just edit the OP, and have the user PM you, that way it stays private and allows the user to not have to come forward publicly. Honestly though, if the user does see this, there's no reason to be embarrassed... we were all unfamiliar with how to do this stuff at one point or another (Im still not great at it, but good enough to get by), and learning how to do so is nothing to be ashamed of.

pfft i wish my sprint store was as cool as this, the manager there gets all huffy when he sees me.. of course that was due to him trying to talk to me like an idiot and me correcting him on several points about the nexus s 4g...

MyFrankenBread Support Thread/ Impressions

This is a discussion thread on the MyFrankenBread Rom.
My impressions so far smooth and zippy.
I flashed this right over the stock EG22 deoxed rom with no problems.
Before you ask me about battery life YMMV as everyone says plus I haven't played with it on a full battery so on 50% turning my phone on and off installing chainfire, journaling, using the flashlight app for about 5 mins total I got a good 6 hours out of it.
I experienced a bug which when I activated wifi it would vibrate then FC BUT!!! it still worked and vice versa. The CRT off animation is baked in but over scroll is not at this moment....the next release guys hopefully
The theme is nice and clean not many bugs so far and I just remembered I haven't tried GPS yet but so far on EG22 I've been experiencing excellent GPS so I'm not going to worry much on that.
Oh yeah its EXT-4 and very lightweight in file size.
I'm not sure if I am necessarily allowed to post a link to it once I get the clear I will for those who cant figure out where the "RUMOR" started

I have not played with this yet but I can say I have played with almost every build the dev has made and have been nothing if not impressed at the results.
This guy compiles top of the line stuff. . .and appears to do so while being really busy. I will pull it and do a better posting when I can spare to have the phone down (thanks for letting me know it is out).

This rom uses ef02 kernel right? I wonder why the dev didn't update to eg22??

Because he's using the Bonsai v5 b13 kernel (EF02). The b14 (EG22) hasn't been released to the beta testers yet.

So where can I find this, Bonsai website? Because its not in the development section unless I missed something.
And does the browser work in this?

I found it, in the rumor thread in a quote, that's bad. Downloading now, any advice before I flash this?

Calling All devs: I need help on miui

Thanks to all of you awesome developers and members who have helped make my Samsung Epic 4G a wonderful piece of equipment. Unfortunately (well kinda) I upgraded to the WHITE Epic Touch 4G today so I wont be around these parts as much although I still have my Epic and will keep it as a secondary phone if something happens to my SGSII. With my job switching me to the 3rd shift I am rarely online anymore. Nothin but work and sleep lol. And I have yet to post over there. I just watched the video on how to root and got to work. And with the greatness of ACS on my original Epic, that was the first Rom I went for.
But from the comments I've seen they seem like a friendly bunch. LOL

Then I'm guessing the thread title made no sense to you either - they're all references to an amazing series of books that started with The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I highly recommend reading all of them - so much better than the movie
Or even better, try to find audio of the original radio broadcasts...

From what our friends who have moved on have reported, it seems like his entire family uses either a Gnex or an SGS3

Yep. The audio books are also great. They have sound effects and Adams' voice for Marvin is quite a chuckle.
