Ice home screen rotation

Hi
I know some earlier ICS roms had home screen and app drawers that rotated. Do you guys know if that has to be built into the roms or is there something I can download to incorporate this feature? Thanks and have a merry Christmas!

I have the same problem here. I can't rotate the screen.
stock ics homescreen/launcher doesnt auto-rotate. the cm9 launcher does.
Oic. Thanks. Can I just pull the launcher and use it in another rom?

Nova launcher also provides this functionality.

I have auto rotate on, I am
Typing in landscape now. But I notice when am looking at my main screen it only stays in portrait . Am I missing something? While using tapatalk Rican rotate between portrait and landscape nor issue

Do you mean the home screen? If yes, you would need to put it in tablet ui to have it landscape.

Yes, you are missing the hundred or so other threads about this.
The home screen does not rotate unless you use a different launcher or an app like rotation locker.

Nexus 7 Won't go back to portrait mode...

Hi,
I need help, I updated to the most recent 4.1.2? i believe. whatever is the most recent build. I updated it last week and today..I can't change it back to portrait mode. It's just in landscape. I unlocked the screen lock and I restarted my device multiple times, but it's always landscape..
Is t just the home screen or the entire device?
Home screen..

Some launchers, e.g. Apex, have settings to force a given orientation. Does your launcher have that feature set?

I found out how to do it.
Go to Settings then Accessibility then check Auto-Rotate Screen

Can't add Tapatalk shortcut with nova

Hi, I'm having a problem adding a shortcut from Tapatalk to the nexus 4 forum on my home screen with nova launcher. But my problem is that it won't add in Nova, nothing happens. It works on both the stock launcher and apex launcher. Any ideas?

Not sure how the bumping rules are, but I'm allowed to bump after 24 hours, right? So BUMP!!

I have the same problem.
I can't add shortcuts with nova and lecture notes, but it works with other launchers.
I tried wiping the data for nova so it isn't just a setting we have missed.

No issues for me, uninstall and reinstall Nova and try it again.
Tried that didn't work. Seems like it gets added to the stock launcher instead, because when I went to the stock launcher to reinstall nova i had a bunch of shortcuts there.

I don't know if it has anything to do with this, but do you use PA? I use the 26 April version.

It started working again after an update from nova (a week ago?). Haven't had any problems after that.

That's a launcher function, not ROM.
