Dear all,
My ZTA Blade GSM is China model with some modification, specialy sold in Indonesia.
Yesterday I've flashed my Blade to 2.3. Since I'm new in ZTE, I did not noticed that the ROM is actually for LIBRA. The file was downloaded somewhere named: P020110913632559206355.zip. After flashing, my phone just show ZTE logo, and go back restart, and back to show ZTE logo, and back restart. Just looping like that.
I've make it back to Original ROM, using one of modaco de-brick tutorial until ClockWorkMod menu appeared. I re-flash original ROM using this CWM model. I think I'll have my phone back to normal. But It does not.
Now, My phone is as original except:
- It always set in Flightmode, and cannot be changged
- I force the phone to activate its WIFI using Power Control widget
- Phone facilities (phone, sms, etc. Including Data) cannot be activated.
- Back key keep flashing (red light)
I think, the GSM model is corrupted or somehing.
Is there any way that I can refive the phone function including 3G data communication?
Thank you for your help.
I would recommend you to get the cyanogen mod7 stable release for the blade and use that and get it from the official cyanogenmod site
Sent from my Blade using xda premium
Thank's Hellz0wn,
I'll try your recomendation. I'll report here the result.
Here the result, which is not so good..
I install CyanogenMod-7-08122011-NIGHTLY-Blade, Build Number GRJ90.
I also try using CyanogenMod-7.1.0-Blade, Build Number GWK74.
Airplane mode still cannot be disabled. Thus, the problem still there, that I cannot use Mobile Network.
Is there any suggestion? Thank you in advance
have you tried to use a different SIM card that might be the problem have a look at that
Sent from my Blade using xda premium
Yes, I have.
I have 2 SIM and both are working correctly on my other phone.
Using "Hold power button", I can make the Airplane mode off but I think it is not fully true. Because, the Airplane mode in Wireless & network setting still tick marked.
Don't know what's is wrong.
I'm dont know a lot with chinese blade but I thinks you have done something wrong with a TPT, and you have a bad radio/baseband.
Which Gen was your blade at he begining?
Send from my Blade!
I was TFT-ed like standard, but the image file is not. It is for Libra (I knew it after the TFT). I also think that there is some thing with radio (the phone, and the bluethooth), but not the WIFI.
I was checked that my phone:
Type: Gen2
BaseBand version: P729B01
Kernel version 2.6.32.9-perf [email protected]
Build Number: ZTE-BLADEV1.0.0.B01
That is what I know so far.
oh yes .. this is the site where I find the ROM for the first time:
ZTE Blade gets an official 2.3.5 firmware upgrade www.*talk3g.co.uk/showthread.php?9077-ZTE-Blade-gets-an-official-2-3-5-firmware-upgrade
Delete * from the site name ..
If I read informasion by karthiknr at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25866200&postcount=1
I think my Blade radio images was also flashed.
Thank you.
I've tried flashing the same Indonesia's Blade ROM, but It did not work well. I think most of the file is recovery ROM that not include the radio image.
My friend has the same tipe of phone.
How can I make an image of the phone, that include the radio image. I want to make the phone ROM of my friend's Blade.
Maybe using this methode, I can recover mine.
Thank you for your advice in advance.
As a last resort i have decided to downgrade my razxr m to earlier ics version

have you tried flashing a 4.1.1 ROM? i think someone posted a TWRP-flashable file for Energy (which is 4.1.1).
BTW, 4.1.1 is JB, not ICS.

Thanks for the reply mate
As there was no help up until your reply on this matter , i tried to take it upon me to find a way , so i in the end was able to infact flash the ICS stock via rsd lite
but no success even that was fruitless as GSM radio was still locked in that too
so now after about a full month or so i can say i have tried each and every option and this phone is locked as far as gsm is concerned ,
ALL THE NEWER VERSIONS OF DROID RAZR M XT907 ARE FACTORY LOCKED NOW , they cant be used with gsm ooperators outside of th US , and may be inside too.

Any help will be highly appreciated
Have you tried to restart your router or your mobile phone ? If it still won't work normally, I strongly recommend you to update your modem. That's what we tried for several times sucessfully in office.
I have a similar problem. I just flashed aokp_maguro_kitkat_nightly_2014-01-14 on a SGN and now I cannot connect to wifi on the 5GHz band. The 2.4 GHz band works fine though... Does you problem concern both bands or just one of them?
Best,

Hi! I read every forum/post I could, but I don't know what else to do... I'm not and advance user, but I'm used to flashing ROMs, Stock ROMs, trying recoverys etc. always had an Android phone and I always unlock the bootloader, flash new rom and blah blah... so, here's my problem T^T
A week ago I buy a Samsung S4 GT i9500... not 'casuse I'm a fan of Samsung, but 'cause the price was great (at least in my Country)... The glas was cracked, but the touch was ok, the only thing broken was the front camera, but hey... I'll never used it
So the phone was able to connect to all the 3 carriers in my country (Argentina) Personal - Movistar - Claro. So I started with a Custom Recovery... everything OK
I always used the CyanogenMOD roms, so I downloaded the last one for my phone... but was kinda buggy... so I started to look for another options, I downloaded MIUI (official) but was too chinese for my taste, I mean, no Play Store, half of the phone options was in chinese, so... I moved on... the last one was Thunder Universe V6... was ok, nice skins, fast... stable... but the battery was the problem, almost 1% per minute, with power save activated so... I decided to go back to Stock ROM or Firmware... but I couldn't find one for my country or the links were dead...
So I finally found this one (I don't know if I can post a link to another forum so I will post the specs only):
Model: GT-I9500
Model name: GALAXY S4
Country: Argentina
Version: Android 4.4.2
Changelist: 2735569
Build date: Tue, 09 Sep 2014 11:17:09 +0000
Product Code: ANC
PDA: I9500UBUGNI1
CSC: I9500ANCGNI1
MODEM: I9500UBUGNI1
Flashed with Odin, no errors, everything went ok... but after all the update, all my apps I realize that I have signal bars, but no carrier connection... only "Emergency Calls Only"
I started to read, and try a couple of things, but no luck... if I change the modem/radio/baseband I got the "unknown baseband" "uknown IMEI" thing... I flashed the phone to the previous roms, Cyano and Thunder but the problem remains...
I don't know what else to do :s and send my phone to someone for fixing it is very expensive, more than half the price of a new phone :s so if there is something I could try to fix it myself, will be amazing...
If u need more data, or whatever just ask, and i will do it, and post the result...
thanks in advance and sorry for my crappy eng >.<

Hi mate ,
Try flashing a stock rom and see if it helps.....but to me it looks like the EFS folder is broken , do you have an EFS folder back up? if not you may have to take the phone to a local service center ( samsung or not) and have the imei fix, you need a box like Z3X or similar to do it.

Hi ,
the stock rom you flashed should been fine ( check here for stock rom for your country http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9500/PSN/ ) , if that did not help can it only be two things hardware ( like the sim caddy) or the EFS folder....there is no way to know without one of those boxes....
The repair should run around 25 usd........

Sorry to hear that mate ,
if you are skill , open the phone and check the antenna cable , make sure is tight in place...just in case
After updating to Android 6.0.1, the phone is randomly losing mobile and gps signal. It happens about 30-40 times a day, especially when moving around, like driving . Almost every time I look at my phone, I see "No service, network not found" or "gps lost" messages. After about 10 seconds, the signal comes back and everything is ok again. Very annoying and impossible to use navigation apps, like Waze and Google Maps. I have made a soft reset, a hard reset, wiped all data and cleared the phone cache, checked and cleaned the Sim card. Nothing helps. Before update the phone worked brilliantly. Also noticed, that the signal won't drop when using wifi, the problem occurs only when data connection is on. And I'm not the only one, I have 2 friends with the same phone and the same problem. Looks like a software issue. Can somebody help?
PS. I'm from Estonia, and the software version is G901FXXU1CPE1/G901FBAL1CPE1
Thank you in advance...
Hi mate,
I Have the same device although mine uses a custom ROM but the problem I experienced was exactly like yours
Samsung released a new issue of the 6.0.1 for our phone, PDA G901FXXU1CPF6 CSC G901FPHN1CPF2 you can login to the sammobile site and download it
As I said above I have a custom ROM so I only flashed the modem firmware from that release and worked fine after that!
Hope that will help you!
Thanks for your response! But I'm using a totally stock phone and I see, that this firmware is for Netherlands. Does it work on my phone or I have to wait until the Baltic version is released?

Hello,
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work but just in case make a note of your Access point name settings in the mobile networks tab just to make sure that everything is the same after you flash the new release .
If you follow the steps as described in the sammobile site you won't have any problems.
What I have noticed however is that after I flashed the new modem firmware the mobile hotspot does not work anymore but this has to do with my custom ROM.
It worth trying though the performance of the phone after that is exceptional and the signal strength is higher than before and most importantly, doesn't crash anymore..
Let me know if you need help and keep me posted about your results!
i had that ROM for a while, didnt help in my case, still same issue. I'm currently on XXU1CPG3 with which the issue still persists, gonna try flashing the new TPD CSC ROM (currently the newest) ROM Version CPH9. My baseband is still CPE1, which do you guys have?

G901FXXU1CPE1, I have a totally stock phone with the latest official firmware.
Latest official firmware from where? ("latest" is region dependent)
Ok, the cph firmware updated the baseband to cph, on my side it's only been a while 14 hrs since flashing but it seems the signal problem is finally fixed

From what I understand it doesn't matter which ROM you are using the baseband is the one that causing this problem..
As I said I have a custom ROM and when I had the CPE1 baseband then I had all these problems.
If you flashed the ROM and your baseband is still CPE1 then something did not go per plan I think..
After flashing ONLY the modem firmware from the CPF6 release to my SMG901F is reported that the baseband version is CPG2 however..
This version works for sure..
I might try the CPH9 release now to see if the issues i have with the mobile hotspot will be solved

I'll try to install that CPH9 release too. Let's see what happens, because I have tried everything else.
To me it seems, that this CPE1 version is having problems with switching between network modes. I checked, that in Settings- Mobile networks- Network mode is set to LTE/3G/2G (automatic connect), but I haven't seen H+, H or Edge symbols on top of the screen. Only 4G/4G+ or no reception at all. Like it's locked in 4G network or something. And sometimes when there is no 4G network coverage, there is also no signal. But that is just my logic...
Ok, I flashed the latest CPH9 firmware and my baseband changed to CPH3. CSC Country turned to Netherlands instead of Baltic. And it seems that the issue is fixed!
I made a little test, I went to the cellar to get bad 4G reception and instead of showing No Service, 4G turned to H without losing the cell signal. Let's wait and see...
Thank you guys a lot for your help! :good:
Hi
1) I have the latest PHN version for SM-G901f stock& rooted. I see the TPD version, will it have dutch language if i flash it ( without wipe anything) in ODIN?
2) What does TPD stand for anyway?
I want to do this because i see TPD has latest security_patch sept 1
With rooted Phone there is no way (as far as i know (3) ) to get security updates without getting the message it as screenshot given under here....
I can confirm that the issue has been fixed for me as well! ****ing finally! :cyclops:

Hello! It seems all the firmwares ending with CPE1/CPH1 are problematic. You can try some other firmware from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G901F/
Select the firmware what seems best for you, don't select the operator-based ones, like vodafone etc. If you click on the firmware and scroll the page down, you will see step-by-step instructions how to install it. Good luck!
Ok but i can't found latest country band FW have same with indonesia network (except FW country singapure now i using it)
So i'll try to download FW update 2016-09-03
