You can do the same a more smarter way. You need an init.d working kernel for this. Using Root Explorer , push this file to system/etc/init.d and in permissions tick all boxes :

When u put a file(I.e. tweaks) in init.d folder(your kernel shuld support it) it will automagically run on boot
No need to set it on boot

What I gave does the same which ANY app in play store does. Its better since the apps need to be run at boot which takes some RAM/battery and also the storage space for the same use.

No conflicts with other tweaks. It only improves the reading speed of sd card on Android system. It won't increase your permanent read /write speed.

Hmm. I'm not sure but should be fine. I use with a class 4 sd card and it's fine. If you face any lag or problem with sd card, remove the script. Pm me if you want the tweaks for better ram management.

Hmm..It should not downloaded as a text file. Use another browser or use IDM. It is a extension less file. Hmm..anyways, I dont think that matters. Try moving to phone and see in root explorer if it shows as text, if it doesnt its alright.
It doesnt matter with any other tweaks. Its totally independent.

A possible cause: Any apps which you had used Titanium Backup (or any other app) to force to SD card would reinstall to internal memory. With the Galaxy y's small memory, it wouldn't take much to fill it, at which point the update would abort.

There are no system files. Only the downloaded apk files are there.

U have to sign it again it in via zipsignger 2 google it
NOTHING TO SEE HERE
But the app itself signs the zip file. Well, I'll try.
Also, there's an option in CWM to apply update.zip on "Main Menu" as well as below the "choose zip from SD" menu.
Since the default name of zip file given by app2zip apk was 'update.zip', so I guess there might be some other way, than installing zip from SD.
Confused & greatly disappointed:banghead:. I've flashed many zips but this kind of zip is messing a lot!!:banghead::banghead:

Download zip of choice
go into cwm
go to mounts & storage
mount system
goto install zip from sd
select zip file & yes to flash
restart
this is the method for any flashable zip except rom zips where you also need to wipe data & system

not compatible with your rom
or
you need to delete certain files or rename them
