I have tnt lite running on my tablet, and went through the full instructions on the guide on this forum of installing it and the marketplace and flash fixes. However I never got the full marketplace on my tablet (no angry birds, lots of apps missing). I also would often get an error every so often about the Google Framework Services having and error, and recently my tablet would reboot often while i was browsing. Then flash started having issues of not loading sometimes, etc. So what I did was I redownloaded titanium backup, installed it, force closed Google Framework Services and Market, went into titanium and wiped data for Google Framework Services and Market and then tried to open the market and got the error. I then rebooted the device and I tried to access market. At first it wasnt opening so i rebooted again and then it started working, however it still isnt the full marketplace. Also randomly the Google Framework Services error came up again. How can I get the full marketplace working? Would you recommend that I backup this rom and just reflash with the 2.2.1 tnt and start over again? I dont have much data on it and can start from scratch easily.
Ok so I have gotten rid of the Framework error and stability issues. I did a factory reset which seemed to have cured a lot of those issues. However I still dont have the full andriod market. I followed the steps again but I keep getting a limited version of the market with barely any apps. Is there something else I need to do to get this working better? I have heard of people getting the full market with angry birds, etc on it, so I know it can be done..
Some of the roms, sepcifically the Vega one, I wasnt able to get the market to work on correctly. I finally did by doing a factory reset, installing Cyanogen mod, Cyanogen gapp pack, and than flashing the Vega one over it without a reset.. and then the usual market fix. And it finally worked. There has to be a better more reliable way though. (From my understanding, it should work out of the box with Vega since it uses the release key instead of the test key in build.prop. But it does. )
I don't think the "fix" has given *anyone* completely full market, has it?
I've done the fix on TNT Lite, newest release, and newest VEGAN and I am still missing apps here and there.

I seemingly have access to the full market. I applied the fix referenced on the TNT tutorial page:
Setting / Applications / Manage Applications / Running / "Clear cache"; then "Force stop"
Then go up to Google Services Framework and "Force stop"
Open Titanium Backup; click on "Backup/Restore" and scroll to Google Services Framework 2.2.1 - and "Wipe data"
Go back to Home and launch Market. You should receive an error message (if not, repeat steps above).
Reboot and you should be good to go.
I also installed the latest update to the market (via update.zip) referenced here
A short (shaky cam) view showing the new market here.

Correct, to the best of my knowledge, even with a good build fingerprint in build.prop (now pre-done for you in Vegan ROM) and after applying Market Fix, we still seem to be lacking a few apps here and there from Market. Perhaps 2-5% of the apps in Market are still missing. Off the top of my head, Pocket Legends, Tank Hero, one of the MAME ports are known to be still missing. Some other minor apps.
CyanogenMod is the only ROM that apparently doesn't have this issue, though I haven't tried it to verify that for myself.
new xperia arc user, successfully unlocked bootloader and rooted phone, installed titanium backup and busybox, and removed some preinstalled apps, however whatsapp still showing as being installed , even though titanium no longer showing it as listed, any ideas. if i click on app, it launches as normal?
That happens sometimes and you have to do it manually by going into system apps and remove it. Reason, I am not sure.
thanks, sorted it be reinstalling from marketplace then uninstalling again with titanium, after reboot its successfully gone
i have this kind of prob on others apps also..
i uninstalled it at the market place
is whats app a system app, as wanted to remove it and I can do is remove updates ?

Hello
I've installed several android nand roms on my HD2.
My problem is, that I cannot download/install some apps out of the marketplace.
I can try to install it, the download-logo appears but then disappears a second later without doing anything.
It's happening for about 20% of the apps, and I have no clue why. I even purchased an app for 15$ and cannot download/install it.
No error message, nothing.
What can be the problem?
Thanks
Dominik
Hello I'm still learning doing this Android on SD on HD2. I'm not too familiar with the computer terms as well. Sorry for that. But my Market keeps updating to this new market 3. something and it crashes when I boot market up. Or if it actually stays open long enough alot of the apps says not compatible with my Phone. I have searched the forums and read about people doing some APK and deleting the auto update. I'm not quite sure that that means or how to do it. Is there anyone that can explain?? Greatly appreciated.
I am using the AmeriCan Android on my HD2 from the SD card method.
Thanks
Mike.
go into settings - application - manage and find the market app entry, click that, then clear cache, and at the top, uninstall updates.
Now, i cant remember how to stop it updating itself, but if uninstalling eth update works, you are on the right track.
I have tried uninstalling a few times, but it keeps updating it self and then crashing. I'm not sure what to do.
now it's work but it appear the lower version of Android Market.
later update itself and crash again ....
help !!!
You may want to booting into recovery, advanced "Fix Permissions" this has been known to solve issues with the market
Hey Michidj00 could you explain how to do that??
Thanks!
Hi,
I have a Samsung Y S5360 (which I like a lot) and Wechat was insisting too much on updating to its latest version, for which I had to upgrade to a newest ROM, so I got Lollipop (just that was a log process for me, as I'm not an expert, but I'm learning a lot the last days). Anyway, so I am installing apps now and I have some issues that's not making it so easy.
1. I'm in China so I have no access to Play Google. Also installing downloaded apps from the SD card has only worked until now for Link2SD and Superuser, all other apps I tried to install that way get parsing error.
So, I'm getting apps from Baidu and Chinese apps provider. My Chinese reading is less than okay, so I kind of follow by instinct, which is possible, that way I've installed already Pleco, and another couple of apps successfully. Except for Airdroid, and Wechat.
2. The problem with Airdroid is that I could get a 2.something version but not the latest 3.something, and as I tried to get it, even from Airdroid web, it's not working.
3. The problem with wechat, which is way more important to me than Airdroid, is that I get to install an old version, but still newer than the one I used to have when I was on Gingerbread. One strange thing that happened is that the look of it though wasn't the same as the new style of wechat but as the Wechat of a year or so ago. Strange. ... Besides that, then the most relevant issue is that once installed the old version I get the message to update it, once the update is downloaded and installed, I opened it and I only get to see the opening image (the earth and the guy) and that's it, it stops.
I tried installing the latest version from some of the Chinese providers of apps, but it happens the same. It's installed, and it's opening, I see the earth and the guy, and then off to the screen of icons in android.
I've tried to uninstall and install, wiping cache in between. Didn't worked. I tried redoing the process of installing the ROM all over again. Didn't work. I tried to leave Wechat in the phone, and not move it to the SD Card. Didn't work. I tried kissing the phone, and chanting some Hawaiian healing songs. Didn't work.
Here I am, at the end of the day, trying another way, I kind of believe the force is with XDA devs
