Thanks very much, I thought everything is just possible in the wide world.

All I can say is use the Tunein radio app and set the stream to the lowest possible setting. Streaming radio hardly uses data. Ive got it on all the time /not music - love stuff like dragnet coast to coast. It cost pennies a month in the UK

The S3 has a radio app. Pretty much the only way to avoid streaming charges if you are listening to local radio.

TuneIn Pro has a recording option. Maybe you can record stuff when you have wifi and listen to it later when you are on the go?
Otherwise you need to stick to the FM radio if you want the feed to be live AND not use a data connection.

You mean data charges from your network provider?

[Q] gameloft games...

Hello everyone, not sure if this is the correct spot for this post but i wanted to know if any of you have purchased any games directly from gameloft. They are currently having a holiday sale where u buy a game for $4.99 and you get one free. Now to me that sounds like to good to be true but im still curious you know. They do have some pretty good games like N.O.V.A. and much more. Any feedback from you guys would be awesome.
Heres is the url where i found their website
http://wapshop.gameloft.com/us/spri...02=216209736754a7692829&from=ADID-21999&c=223
It's a legit offer if that's what you are asking. They have a lot of cool games but I usually just wait until they offer free games and then I download them. I was able to get Hero of Sparta and Let's Golf for free.
warning about gameloft, it was confirmed that they double charged lots of their customers that purchased a game from them, I didn't have a problem after purchasing Dungeon Hunter so its not an every customer problem but there are many still having issues getting refunds

Oh really? Whas this recent? Its making me think twice now.
http://phandroid.com/2010/12/14/have-you-been-ripped-off-by-gameloft/
Hey, did anyone actually do this deal? I ordered one game, I paid, and then I ordered another game from the free list and... I paid again... how do I get the free games?
join the marketplace gameloft, sheesh.
i bought asphalt 5 or something a while back and i dont think i get free updates, unless i buy it again.. aint that some BS?
gameloft doesnt deserve my money until joining.
I refuse to pay for games and apps...the phone was expensive enough..especially the stupid ten extra dollars a month for 4g (which has no coverage when you live way out in the sticks)
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
I did this twice. The first time there was a "download free game" link that was displayed after i made the purchase, so that was easy. The second time I didn't get that same link. I ended up emailing them and they sent me a link for a free game. I personally haven't had any problems with them, but have only made 3 or 4 purchases with them since getting my EVO, so YMMV. They did take a while to respond to my email (5 or 6 days) but since it was around Christmas time I'll give them a pass on that.
I think they have some of he best mobile games around. Silly as it may sound but I'm after console like gaming and their games are about as close as you can get. Also, EA has a deal right now , .99 cents a game. That includes nfs shift, which imo is the best looking racer we have. I remember when games were 15 to 30 dollars for games, abiet, this was before the iPhone and Android application model existed.

we have 4 g work in on the at&t note using t- mobile network. this is very bad news for the international model, it does not look like it will ever happen for you guys. so if you have the international model using t-mobile and you want 3G you will need to sell it and get the at&t version for that to happen.

don't be mad because you went out got the internationl version, you know that AT&T was getting the phone you should have waited for the AT&T model. it's not too late for you to sell it and get off that turtle that you're on all day hahahaha.
Question. Can i unlock the att version and use it overseas?
By the time 4g is in enough places for me to even care about it, my Note will be either dead & gone, or being used by my (now) 11 year-old daughter
I am more than happy with H+, and I only get that in a few places anyway.

Craigslist, ebay... etc. Someone out there is selling this phone so buy from them no matter what their provider was since all u want is wifi usage out of it.

With wifi only your battery will be great. Main radio eats up battery, wifi uses way less juice.

without contract, you must pay full price. Retail price is $529. You might find a new one for 300-400. A used one will run you 200-300. No monthly fees using wifi
I would honestly just buy an iPod Touch before buying a new Nexus S to use in airplane mode. Unless you can find a used one for cheap, it is overly priced to not be used as a phone as well.
You might as well just get the galaxy player or iPod touch. To be honest

Fm Radio: Yes or Not ?

Why in technical specs of Galaxy S4 fm radio is not onboard? In future i'll hope to see it
Good question. I did not see anything mentioned of an FM receiver. It would be weird if they included stuff like an RF blaster, temperature gages, and more but not the ability to receive FM frequencies. If I find any info to confirm or deny this, I will share it on this thread for you
