Changing dpi does not do anything that will "destroy" your nexus
Look up on how to flash a factory image, it's simple and will fix your issue

You don't need to access recovery to restore the factory images. You just need to get into the bootloader. Power device off holding power and vol -. Then power on holding power, vol + and vol - at the same time. This will put you in the bootloader mode where you can flash the factory images.
Factory images can be found here:
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images?hl=fr-FR
Oh and don't use odin. Don't get anywhere near this device with odin.

okay, i can access my bootloader, but wehen i try to flash anything the is just the message <witing for device> .. through this i do not come any furhter

[GUIDE]How to recover your tablet (no apx mode,no uid and NV flash)

If you where like me who tried to flash the ICS recovery and bootloader only to get stuck in the starting kernel screen with no adb,no recovery and couldn't connect to the computer well here's something that might help. I found this app in the Andoid general section its universal flasher AIO by fonehacker and it got my tablet up and running in less than 10 min here's how I did it.
1. Download the app from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28719715
2. Download your HC recovery
3. Make sure you have a HC rom in your SD card prior to running any thing.
4. Place your tablet into recovery by holding power button and the volume down tell your bootlader starts and click in the fastboot option from the recovery screen.
5. After you extract the files run the app and click on the flash recovery option.
6. Find the recovery you downloaded and click on flash with fastboot wait tell it does its thing
7. Reboot into the bootloader by holding the power button and volume down button your gonna have the same screen as before but this time scroll to the reboot recovery option and it should boot into recovery.
8. Once in recovery flash your rom that you downloaded earlier and flash away as always.
I take no credit for this app I only used it to fix my tablet this app was made by fonehacker so any thanks go to him not me I only wanted to share this app because I no so many people are lost using the apx method and don't have there uid. If you need any help feel free to pm me and again I take no credit for this app all credit goes to fonehacker.

You mention this will help if you can't connect to pc but surely you need to connect to pc let the program run. Or am I missing something?
Yes when your stuck on the loading bootloader screen there's a also the option to go into fastboot the PC well recognize it then and then run the program and your good to go but like I said this is for the people stuck on the loading bootloader screen.

Fair enough, my problem is no connection with pc. Cheers anyway

Fast boot unable to connect

So i seem to have a strange problem, i downloaded CM 10.1 flashed with the latest GAPPS however upon boot i get "Unfortunantely the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" whenever i click ok i get "unfortunantly , setup wizard has stopped". I am unable to access power the power menu or do anything besides click ok. I can access the files on my Nexus however due to not being able to cold boot into recovery I am stuck. Whenever i use a toolkit and try to reflash to stock it sticks on "waiting on device" anyone have any advice

Can someone make a Cwm installation video. I'm having a rough time installing it to my phone. My previous phones were Galaxy II and III and cwm installation was way easier

If TWRP is an option for you you can install it using the GooManager app, install the GooManager app, open it press the menu button go to install openrecoveryscript it'll say this will download and write a recovery image to your device. Press Yes.
It then asks you if you want to install openrecovery-twrp-2.5.0.0-find5.img, this is the latest version made by Kamma and Dees_Troy I believe.
This should help you out.

Alright There is an issue with a find 5 that i tried to trouble shoot. The owner of this find 5 is able to boot into fastboot but not into recovery. No matter how many times I tried to flash recovery, it always did but the phone refused to enter recovery. First, it doesnt even start without a power source. whether it be a connection to the computer or power outlet, it needs as a power source, and when it doesn, holding the volume down + power it goes from the oppo screen to a black screen. Anyone have any idea? I even flashed the rom though fastboot (which i didnt know could be done but apparently it can) and it still didnt turn on and still had the same issues

[Q] No OS, Stuck in fastboot mode

I have no Rom installed. I accidently try to install a kernal through recovery mode? I am completely lost.. First I rooted my phone and everything with the one-tool click. After that, I tried to install Elements. What Do i do.. I can get into fastboot mode..?
Try to get into recovery and do factory reset

You will need to stay in fastboot mode, then download the nexus toolkit, and it will download the stock firmware and install it for you. I've had my tablet in your situation plenty of times and using the toolkit has got me out every time

I managed to enter factory mode!

I managed to enter the factory mode, see screenshot.
Anything cool I could do there?
(It looks like odin mode but it says factory mode up there)
After my phone bricked it changed booting process a bit, now when I hit reboot system if it's running and then try to enter recovery with button combo, it boots into factory mode! (when I power it off and use the recovery combo it boots recovery again)

You use factory mode or download mode with the odin program to flash firmware, custom recoveries, kernels, basebands, bootlogos ect... But most popular thing people use download mode for is when they brick there phone so they can flash there stock firmware and have a working phone again.

Factory mode/download mode is what you need to be in to flash things via odin so im not sure what your talking about when you say "odin mode"

Well if I am practically able to boot into 3 different modes with my phone
1. Recovery mode
2. Odin mode (it says odin mode)
3. Factory mode (it says factory mode)
/edit:
maybe it doesn't hit the binary count for example, cause... it doesn't show a warning about "custom os"
Man, there are just 2 "places" where u can boot to:
1. Recovery ( vol up + pwr + home)
2. Download mode ( vol down + pwr + home)
In mine download mode first line says Odin mod (red font) at your screen it stands factory mode but believe me it is all the same shif (by that last f I mean t)
I suppose string ware rewritten in your case with som older stock flashing or so.... What is important is that big "downloading"
P.s. Few mor days till hard brick

Oh I see what you meant now you always used a JIG so you never saw the download screen with the binary count and all that. Like he said there the same thing. I never understood why the JIG or apps that let you reboot into download take you to the screen that dosnt have the phone info and binary count and the three button combo takes you to the screen with the phone info and binary count

Have you heard of Triangle away.

I am not sure, but it seems like you are in download mode, not in fastboot mode.
