[Solved] Bricked Bravo Driver Issues

Just wiped and reset my Bravo and now it is in an endless boot loop. Tried to use RSD lite to load the sbf but the drivers are not working. RSD lite does not recognize my device.

Go to stock recovery by pressing power+volume down, then press both volumes buttons and wipe data/cache.
If you want to flash your phone with RSD Lite, you have to turn on your phone pressing power+volume up, then you will be in bootloader mode, then connect the phone to the PC via USB and flash the SBF.
The stock recovery doesn't work for some reason it was giving me an error. Can't get into the bootloader mode because the battery won't charge. I'm getting the question mark battery icon whenever I go to charge the phone and the bootloader says the battery is too low.
I actuality cheated the too low battery can't charge part. I took an old charger of mine and cut off the end. I then took the neg and pos ends and taped them to the battery so they made contact with the batt. NOT each other. Then I put the battery into the phone and held it there until RSD loded my sbf and then had a party. Took me like 3 hours to think of it. Anyway, after it loaded I undid everything and put the battery back in and plugged in the charger and charged it to %100. FYI Always start with a fully charged battery. BTW on most chargers the wire that is rough or has lines is negitive i belive. I am not responsable for anything you do to your phone resulting from this post.

if you dont wanna cut your OEM charger , you can buy a battery charger that charges battery only , they are really like 3 bucks free shipping off ebay, sometimes you can buy a high capacity battery and a charger combo for like 12 bucks
i hope everything works out for you
i just found this how to solve your battery problem
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=892026
Summery: Cut end off any USB cable. Connect red to + on battery, Black to -. Insert into phone. Plug other end into a) computer b) wall plug and then boot into bootloader. Plug standard USB cable into phone and then computer. Flash correct SBF file with your choice of RSD Lite. Done.
Did I miss anything?
Oh and I posted in the Defy forum and was tossed out for comparing it to the Bravo. Touchy guys overthere.

If you can connect it to the battery only, it will be less dangerous for your phone.
It could charge something, walter79 did it with his defy!
--------------------------------------
DEFY owners dont know that defy has a little brother which needs lot of attention, because it has the same potential.
True true but I was in a hurry. Worked anyway. After reading I did look at the charger that I used and it does only put out 3.8v at 875Ma so it's so close at being the same power as the battery it'self that I don't think the phone knew any better. Oh well the what if's and shouldi've's of the world.
And yes the Bravo is Defy's little brother but only in parts....... Kinda a more 2nd cousion looked over at family gatherings and get's the crap parts of the Thanksgiving turkey, (Sniff, sniff, tear).
So I fixed the battery problem but now I have some other problems. When I try to do the volume down power android recovery to try to update.zip. When I do this I get an error 7 meaning that I probably don't have a stock app installed from what I've read. Then I tried to do the RSD lite install and the only RSD lite I can get to recognize my phone is 3.9. I've tried 4.5.7, 4.9, and 5.0. Each of these can't recognize my phone when I plug it in. When I try to run 3.9 I get a can't find INI error. Please HELP!
Umm, real quick do you have MotoHelper installed?
Yup motohelper is installed and my computer recognizes the flash device. RSD lite 3.9 detects my phone but fails to install the sbf and no other RSD has been able to detect my phone.
Used a different computer with windows 7 32-bit and a newer version of RSD Lite and on the first try it installed the sbf!

[Q] How to bypass a boot logo ? (yes I can't specify the title)

Hi
Well, the problem is I have a rooted defy with JRDNEM_U3_3.4.2_179-002_DEBLUR and CM JORDAN 7.10 - all of that worked fine until I broke my usb port (physically) and I had to send the phone for repair (everything was working fine except charging). After I got it back, It will not boot - gets stuck on the motorola logo. I though I will just reflash it and everything will be fine but the big problem is that the phone is not recognized by the PC. All I can do is enter 2init, stock recovery or the stock bootloader.
What should I do to fix this booting problem ?
Thank You for any time you've managed to help solve this issue.

Try uninstalling/re-installing the PC drivers again. If still does not work try using another PC.
Refer to this article for PC drivers and more information:

Hope this helps!

Try using below mentioned steps from the All in one Defy beginner guide:
How to Flash
Ok! Now that we understand how a lot of stuff works, it’s rather easy to get a new Android version installed on your phone.
For any full SBF the same steps must be always done, just be sure to know what SBF are you flashing and keep always in mind your CG Version to keep the possibility to downgrade in case you need your warranty.
Requirements
Get the SBF you want to flash
- Full SBF: No Nandroid backup needed, always keep CG versioning in mind.
- Fixed SBF: You might need a matching Nandroid Backup.
Get and Install RSD Lite v4.9: There are reports of other versions working, but this one is what I have used.
Get and Install Motorola Drivers [32bits] [64bits]
Now to Business:
To Flash full SBFs, here is the standard procedure:
Open RSD Lite: Click on [ … ] Button and select your .SBF (Remember to rename to a short name and put it on root of your PC) and click Open.
Boot your phone into Bootloader Mode (check last section if you don’t know how to do it).
Now connect your Defy to your PC
The START button on RSD Lite should be available now, click and wait.
For Fixed SBFs a slightly different method is needed, it's basically the same but you need to Wipe Dalvik Cache and Data before flashing. Then after flashing you need to enter immediately to Recovery and restore the matching Nandroid Backup. I won’t write a specific way to do it here, since most of these versions require different steps (for Example CM7 or MIUI), so is better to check a specific guide for your Custom ROM or Android version.

I hope you can go into Bootloader via Pressing Vol up and Power off button together when phone is off.

Putting it bluntly: Your USB port is still broken! Similar thing happened to me in my other phone when I was little mad and ended up breaking the USB port(nothing can be seen physically though)! After that PC won't recognise the phone but it charges fine both via USB and charger. The problem arises because though the pins connecting the physical port with the phone board that are responsible for charging are fine one or both of the other two ports may be broken!
Summary: There are four pins in USB two used for data transfer and other two for power, In this case one or either of the two data transfer port is broken!

You can try mounting the SDCard or run adb from CWM (usb cable plugged in the pc). If they dont't work you can confirm that the USB port is still broken or just the charging part of it is working.

Defy plus Usb not detected to PC

Hello Everyone,
my Defy plus is not detecting on PC, when i plugged in the USB only phone light is turning on no led light no charging. i tried connecting rsd lite nothing happen. i m using windows 7 latest RSD-lite some 5. version and latest drivers. i have installed SBF before but its not connecting now. it happen after i installed White-rabbit ROM 1.5.2 i was using 1.3 there was no problem. everything else is working good.
I even installed stock ROM and older white-rabbit ROM's but same problem exists.
when i plugged charger its working good.
Tried almost everything formatting, factory restore, nothing working.
is it a hardware problem...? my phone is still under warranty.
try use this..hope itll help..
not Working...
Most likely HW problem. Especially if you tried several ROMs.
I had been to the service center they say that its a motherboard problem..They have sent my phone to main office in chennai i guess..I have installed stock rom i restored it through CWM but cant unroot because my USB was not working...?
will there be any issues if the phone is rooted...??

Droid Turbo 2

After restarting my device it became stuck in a boot loop where it only gets to the motorola logo then restarts and does this continually. I did not install or change anything. At this point i have tried using the stock recovery menu and clearing cache and even wiping the entire phone, yet the device still is stuck in the boot loop. Basically i am wondering how i can flash my device with the stock rom while its in this state.
UPDATE: I followed a guide on flashing the rom and the only issue at this point is that rsd lite does not show my device. When i have the device plugged in my machine shows it under device manager as motorola adb interface. I installed the drivers but still nothing in rsd lite.

Do it on a windows 10 device? Eitherway i tried it on windows 7 and 10 so far and it did not work.
RSD Lite does not work through a usb 3.0 port. It only supports 2.0, so be sure you are using a 2.0 port and cable

Indeed using using 2.0 cable and port
Having same issue w/ my T2. Simply restarted it last night, and now it is stuck in an infinite boot loop. It appears as if it is booting up normally, lock screen comes up, but after another 10 secs or so it blacks out / reboots. I am able to get to Recovery if I can get it to shutdown before it boot loops. Wiped cache, no effect. Trying to avoid a FDR, as I don't want to lose SMS/calls and other files on the device. Any help is appreciated.
Edit: Pulled mSD card, no more reboots. Now I'm thinking there must have been an app update that is causing a weird issue w/ the mSD during initial load after a reboot.
