Syncing contacts,documents, and photos with froyo [Problem Solved]

I noticed after installing froyo you cant use htc sync . Is there a alternative ?

CM6 froyo or Sense froyo? HTC sync only works with HTC roms.

Yeah i realized that after i tried to sync some documents .
Is there something i can use thats similar to htc sync ?

Hmm...guess that would work . But the accessibility isn't the same .

Facebook widget problem

For some odd reason I don't seem to be able to login to facebook with any of my Desire's Facebook Widgets. I've tried the GO launcher widget, the Colorize FB widget and now lastly the FriendStream widget.
They all worked previously, but then when I signed out of Facebook via the widget, I couldn't log back in anymore.
The weird thing is that the Facebook app itself works fine.
Any ideas...??

Have you tried throwing it at a wall???
Or force close it via app manager. Then see if that works...not sure if it would but always worth a shot

Well actually, I didn't use the search button
I had been looking for the solution for this problem for quite a while over the internet, and accidentally ran into this thread by Alex-V via another site.

Twitter Apps Freezing My HD2

I'm having the problem with almost alot of twitter apps i've tried. After about an hour of any twitter app running on my phones background it just freezes up!! If anyone could help me I would appreciate it greatly!!

maybe u can try a sense rom and use htc twitter app.

How would I go about doing that? If you don't mind me asking?

[Q] Facebook Problem

I'm running HoneyIce RC2.1 and have a strange problem. When i open the official Facebook app, the mobile web page appears in the app. Does anybody have this problem, and the most important question. Do you have a fix for it?

i have the same problem... i just use friendcaster but you can use some other third party app, i couldn't find any other solution.

The new version 1.9.0 do actually work without viewing the mobilepage inside...

[Q] QuickContact component missing

Hi, I'm using miroslav_mm SDSL 3.0 rom ad I'm having an issue with widget that use quickcontact. I'm using GO SMS Pro widget that shows the contact portrait received SMS's. When the portrait is clicked a quickcontact bar should pop up with shortcuts to call, send SMS or edit the contact but instead a pop out the following message: 'QuickContact component cannot be found in your system'. The same happens with GO Contacts widget.
Anyone knows how to get this working because on Google Play, GO SMS or even GO Contacts widgets say that this is working on Android 2.1 or later so should be working on 2.3.7...

it was already there... the problem isn't in this widget alone, all widget that call quickcontacts component have this problem!

Then it could be something related to SDSL.. did you try to reflash the rom? that could help!

Man, I'm always flashing new roms, now I'm experimenting leoposas zoe 2.0 rom, it's basically sdsl but with some tweaks of his... and when i say i'm always flashing new roms i mean backup contacts & sms, factory reset, format system+boot and then flash new rom. Basically cleanest flash is impossible

I've figured it out, quickcontacts component is embedded on contacts.apk, i'm using go contacts so i uninstalled the stock one.
