how to modified the build by myself？

now i used scanny's project,but i found chinese do not correct to display in file explorer.i think it is code issue.how to modified the project by myself?

Boy you know you could hve jus sent scanny a PM asking him instead of opening a whole new thread... and fer the answer to ur question is ask the devs directly

or he could post it here where everyone can see it and the devs won't get load of messages

HD2One Superuser issues.

Im trying to change the bootanimation, but i cant seem to get superuser to let me access to root, im using the ROM-ZIP, am i doing something wrong,

so many wrong things about this thread i can't even mention them

Try fixing permissions, uninstall and reinstall superuser....

Firstly this is the NAND development forum, ie for posting NAND developments, secondly if you want to ask a support question about a specific ROM then you do so by first reading the specific roms thread and if it isnt answered you then ask in THERE!
DO NOT CREATE A NEW TOPIC, ESPECIALLY HERE!

[Q] CM7 Market, wrong gapps?

Sorry but its saying i cant post in the developer section, which gapps file is needed for the advent vega? it installs everything apart from the market

Please do not start new threads with questions that have been answered many times in the cm7 thread. Maybe a PM to the developer would have been the best way to go, if you were unable to find the info with a search.

I did this post becuase i cant post on the dev forum and what the post said doesnt work, i have talked to people and i still have the same issue. : /

I would suggest you PM mad-murdock. I dont use cm7.
If the cm7 gapps from the link i posted is not working, then indeed there may be a problem.

S Voice On U8800!!!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!! Its working again and was fixed as I sespected because they checked the build.prop so I added the new link here for you all to download the new signed version.
So i decided to download the s voice apk dump that was on the main thread and try it on our phone and guess what... IT WORKS
So head over to this thread and scroll down to the bottom of the post download the rar extract it and install the apk like normal then have fun.

P.S it would be a nice feature for roms to have so it could be a good idea to incorporate it in your next release cough cough dzo

I tried on 2 phones - both says error parsing the package. So the link you gave doesn't work on our phones or HTC.
EDIT: of course if it's on ICS than i know why it's not working, because i use Gingerbread. Well then i live withiuth it. i gues it needs wi-fi/3G to work and that's is bad option for me.

not to much but its only in the development section so that developer will find it easier eg dzo and incorporate it into there rom

i bet the forum moderators have alternate views on this..
the development section is a serious place for development-related discussions instead of personal taste-related stuff..

well we will let them to decide when they get round to it but as far as im concerned this is where i reckon it should be

So now, the criteria to post on the development section is whether the poster wants the ROM devs to read or not? LoL

This is a question and so should be posted in the question and answer section
The dev section is for posting roms/kernels and other development projects

To answer your question
It would be much quicker and easier to download the firmware from my firmware thread
You then have two options
1 - Extract the firmware to get the system folder (guide in my signature) then load it into android kitchen & deodex it then create a custom rom zip
2 - Flash the firmware and use a tool to deodex on the fly - I'm sure you can search and find some tool for this
It becomes much quicker if you learn to do things yourself - once you have the environment setup option one would take me about 15 mins

No - read my above post and deodex the firmware yourself using method 1 or 2
Please don't ask me for a step by step guide as Iv already told you my guide for extracting the system folder from stock firmware is in my signature and there are plenty of guides for Android kitchen if you search
