I have the latest release of opera and flash installed. The videos play, but they stumble. Like they would stutter, plays slowly or plays to fast. Any way to fix this? I have installed and uninstalled flash and opera and the issue still occurs.
yo anyone?
Hi All,
My S2 isn't very good at playing back flash video. My old HTC Desire would play any video embedded on a web page that you threw at it, but on the S2 it pauses, stutters and generally looks crappy. Video recorded on the device is fine.
Anyone else seen this?
Mine plays every flash video perfectly, even Youtube 1080p flash video. Must be something your doing wrong or crap internet connection.
Sounds like a bad internet connection...is your flash updated to the latest?
I am sure you are trying to play them with latest Flash player installed and on Stock browser. Yes, I too can play the 1080p videos very well, and after updating the ROM to KI3 the Stock browser has gotten more smooth. I love it.

Yep, i agree...works very smooth, no compaints at all....
If you are using Flash Player 11, just make sure you turn off "peer-assisted networking" from the flash settings app.
Mine is doing exactly the same... poor choppy playback acts as if it's buffering all the time. If I pause the video and let it buffer for a while then play the buffered part it STILL plays back choppy :-(
I'm in Canada on Telus, my network connection is excellent, showing 'H' in the notification bar... tried it on wireless network at home too (which has no issues on other phones or on the PC's). I had a Desire HD too and that worked fine on the same setup.
Any help would be appreciated!!
PS I tried deactivating 'Peer-Networking' but that made no difference. Have also tried different browsers (stock, dolphin, skyfire) and alos uninstalled and reinstalled flash.
Mine goes choppy as well on sd video on some sites. But I have had it play fine minutes before but different video link on same site. But this is on a site which the stock browser wont play, when forced to be detected as a desktop browser through useragent, and I had to use skyfire browser so maybe that is the reason
Hello XDA,
I'm running Windows 8 CP on my Dell L502X Laptop. Ever since 10.3 I've been having issues with Flash Player. The plugin didn't work correctly previously, and every flash video I played look like crap because it would do some really weird flickering (it flickered from one frame to an older frame). If I tried to skip forward in the video it would become un-viewable and I would see random bars on the video (audio worked).
I updated to a newer version of Flash Player, and now nothing works. In Firefox, flash player immediately crashes upon video loading. In Google Chrome, the video does not play either. I can hear the audio for about one second, and then the video freezes the webpage.
I would like to avoid having to upgrade to Windows 8 RP because Microsoft are ****ers, and wont let me keep my files when I upgrade from CP to RP.
I have uninstalled Flash Player and then reinstalled, and it didn't work. I also tried uninstalling both Firefox and Chrome to solve it - didn't work.
Anyways, I'm sure XDA will solve this as they do for most issues I have.
Thanks ahead of time!
Robert
Hey so i am having this weird problem. Sometimes opening a flash video in Full screen works, but the other half of the time it opens and then crashes and shows this white circle with a ! In it. Is there something i should be doing? Why does it happen only some of the time? I'm using Firefox beta and trying to watch videos off this site http://www.watchcartoononline.com/adventure-time-season-4-episode-4a-in-your-footsteps (don't judge)
Hi all
I recently got hands on an S4.
It bugs me that it cannot run flash (properly)
I've installed Flash and a Flash player like SWF player.
When I launch a game it starts for some frames and then crashes/freezes. Some games work, but the most dont.
I can run them with browsers like firefox and UC browser (or whatever its called)
But the performance isnt smooth like using the SWF player.
Also looked up on other stuff like the stock launcher or dolphin (with flash support)
Its the same there, it starts some frames and then crashes
So is there any new/better way to start flash?

Tried it - its really unstable and slow
Might not be able to get it to work the way you want (I only use it with browsers/on web which obviously works fine once you install it manually) given Adobe stopped supporting Flash on Android a while back.

Yeah, so far UC browser is the fastest one handling the flashes (but not crispy enough) but not all flashes are working.
Gotta wait then. Maybe someone mods/creates something new
