Notifications Over Bluetooth At All Possible? - Transformer TF300T General

Hey guys, sorry if there's already a post about this. If there is, i can't seem to find it, or anything about it.
Anyways, I would like to know if there is any app or any way to send ALL notifications from my gingerbread phone to my TF300T. The tablet is fully updated, and running JB, and my phone is running 2.3.4.
I would just like to get all my notifications (text, apps, calls, etc.) on my tablet from my phone, preferably over bluetooth.
I know of Tablet Talk, but that's the only one I've found. That seems to be just for texting.
Thanks guys.

Not sure I quite understand the question.
What notifications? Texts, sure there's tablet talk, think there another.
Calls. You want you'r tablet to tell you you have a missed call on your phone? I dunno bout that...
Apps. Like facebook/twitter/whatever? Can you not just install those relevant apps on your tablet? I don't see the point of installing on just phone, and somehow sending to tab. :/

desksms for txt and missed calls.
only for wifi/3g.

Yeah, you're right. I'm not sure why I said apps. haha sorry.
But I would like to get text notifications over bluetooth.
Tablet talk never worked for me. I could send them but It wouldn't receive them on the tablet end.
Calls wouldn't be as important, but I would love it to notify me of my texts on my tablet.
Even better, would be if it connected via bluetooth, cause I travel a lot, and don't have wifi most of the time. And I feel really awkward using my tablet, whipping my phone out.

Facebook instant notifications

Does your epic have instant Facebook notifications when someone postson your wall or comments on something you posted?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
Nope. Also have a lot of issues with being notified of a comment but when I open the app it says I have nothing. Tweetdeck workedfine for a while but I got tired of it.

Yes, I've been receiving push notifications from the Facebook app. Didn't think they had em since there's a refresh interval setting, but apparently that's for everything including your news feed I suppose. You get push notifications as long as you have the "notifications" box checked in the settings.
Professor did you come from a blackberry to the epic by chance?
Anyone else getting push notifications correctly?

Nope, came from the Samsung Instinct... lol, hella lame phone.
While it really doesn't make sense to me, this is the experience I have had.
Facebook notifications work wonderfully for a few days after I flash a new ROM. They fizzle out and stop working and I forget about it. Then I decide to flash a new leak or SRF comes out with a new version and all of a sudden they work again for a few days.
I don't know why that would be, but it happens every time. I stopped trying to understand and just live with it.
honestly... stock, rom, whatever, I could never get FB notifications to work. is it because I have it being autokilled?
I would have no idea since I turn them off to save battery life. Actually they do work until one goes off after I flashed a rom. Then I turn them off.

My girlfriend has had 2 Blackberrys and I recently got her a Desire and the only thing that bugs her is how she used to get instant notifications from her Facebook app and now she doesn't. The only things that come to her phone as notifications are event invites, friend requests and messages. That's all I get other than through my email as well.
Didn't even know FB pushed notifications. As of now I get notifications to my gmail.
Mine just started working correctly a few weeks ago. I get an instant notification when someone posts, comments on my wall, or sends me a message.
Not sure why it started working but it did..
I'm not sure, but I don't think Facebook uses C2DM. If they do, then they really, REALLY need to fire whoever does the coding for it because it sucks badly.
Edit: Apparently they DO use C2DM, they just suck ass at implementing it.

[APP] Tablet Talk - anyone use it?

So I found this app called tablet talk which is supposed to sync your phone to your tablet via WiFi and it uses your mobile phone number, so you can send text messages and see missed calls, etc. from your tablet..... has anyone used this app, or maybe something similar? If so, how does it work? Is it worth the money? If this is something that works flawlessly, then I can see it is a must-have for a user like me who would love to be able to receive and send text messages from my tablet. Just wanted some opinions on this app, or something similar. So far this is the only app that I have found that can do this.

Brilliant app, I used it all the time before I sent my nexus back. It connects via Bluetooth or wifi, but i always used bluetooth, it was easier to connect. Text messages show up just like they do on your phone, definitely work the money
Just use the free 15 quid credit that came with your nexus.

Yep. Love this app as well. Great for in car as well. Now I don't have to have both my tab and my phone mounted to my windshield. Just my tab and tablet talk....text messages and answering calls (Bluetooth headset of course)

Using it as well, very handy app. Between that and Groove IP, I generally don't mess with my phone when I'm at home.
Just as everybody else has said, it is worth the purchase. I usually throw my phone in my room and carry the N7 around with me when I'm home so it's nice getting texts and calls sent to the N7 that would have been missed.
Funny seeing this post, cause not to long ago i posted looking for an app like this and someone referred it to me....LOVE this App and use it everyday....you can also accept calls if you have a bluetooth headset paired....its awesome and would refer it to anyone looking to basically use theyre phone features on theyre tablet....

Thank you everyone for the replies. I did end up purchasing this app today and have used it quite a bit just for texting so far. Don't own a Bluetooth headset so I probably won't use it for calls, but its definitely convenient to not have to have both my phone and the tablet next to me npw,. I love being able to received my text messages on my tablet. Showed it to a friend and they really want it now too, but the problem is they have an iPad and a Samsung s3, so I don't know if there is an app that is cross-compatible. If anyone knows of one I'm sure they would appreciate it if you could let me know. Thanks again everyone

You done need to use a Bluetooth headset unless you are in public. Otherwise you can just put it on speaker phone.

Have you read anything about Google Voice? Using GV and a phone app such as Talkatone , you would see that you have the option of picking a new number or using your cell number....meaning that when your cell rings, you can answer from your tablet.

That sound cool but, I guess I have to pay to use Google Voice...?
@nolook, yes i know, but the goal was to answer from the tablet itself..not from Bluetooth headset...the thing is that I drop my phone anywhere in the house and I only use my N7 so this is why I want to do this
Tablet talk works.. I have that..
Also have google voice using grove ip.. Both are a solution.

Does Tablet Talk let you answer on the tablet ? so i could talk in the mic of the tablet not into anything else...
Grove IP looks good, but how will I forward incoming call from my phone number to my tablet? In order to call with Grove Ip do u need to pay something in Google Voice or anywhere else ?

Yes, you can answer from your tablet.....no B/T required. Only calls you have to pay for are international calls.
I suggest you visit the Play Store, search for phone apps and read what they do and don't do.

Is is possible that Google Voice is not available in Canada....
tablet talk is like a remote control for your phones dial er. It uses the radios in the phone itself. It does not connect to a web site or server to make send or receive anything. uses your carriers services you pay the same as you normally would to use your phone
Google voice is a extention of the google mail/ messenger. Its the same as using google messenger for a video call. It can be connected using any sips software . Such as grove ip as well as other apps.. This uses a web bases server and requires data or wifi to work. very slow over data service.
Each of them work totally different from one another ..
so the answer is YES with tablet talk you can answer the calls coming into your phone. as well as see caller id information on the tablet. I really enjoy having the app. There is from time to time disconnect issues. But i think thats me messing with my tablet so much ..

Connecting a galaxy nexus to a 7

Hello. I got my hands on one of these tablets yesterday and I really love it. However I have a galaxy nexus as well. When I'm using my tablet and I get a text message, I would like to respond from my tablet. The blackberry platform does this with their blackberry bridge. Is there something like this that would work with android? Or would I have to replace the stock messaging application with some third party cloud messaging app? Thank you
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Try cloud sms...I've been following its development here on xda. It's in the play store for 99 cents you install it on both devices, then you can use your stock messaging app on your phone just like normal. You use the cloud sms app on your tab and all messages will sync. It works perfectly and sounds like it does exactly what you're looking for.

I've used air droid to do this, but its not native (you connect using the browser). I'm sure there's some third party app out there to do it.

Mighty Text is working on one, I believe. They have an extension for the chrome browser on your PC, which I use often. So hopefully it will get done for the tablets. But you can still use it through a browser on the tablet.
Tablet talk seems pretty good. You can use it over WiFi or directly with bluetooth.
I am using tablet talk. It lets you answer phone calls, too. I have my N7 mounted in my car to play podcasts. It & my GNex are bluetooth-connected to the car's head unit. When the phone rings the caller ID info comes up on my N7 & I can answer it. It also does texts, too. I don't do that while driving
I found an app called dinamotxt that seems to be working. Sketchy at times, I think I will purchase tablet talk, mainly because I have Bluetooth everywhere, and I don't necessarily have WiFi. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions

[Q] Any way to get my phone texts to tablet and send from tablet?

I know there are a few apps out there, but I'm not sure if they are any good. I want to be able to received and send texts on my tablet to/from my current phone number, not a secondary one like most apps will give you. For instance, people would text my cell phone number and the text would go to the phone and also to the tablet...then I can type the response on the tablet and send from there.

I use DeskSMS/TabletSMS and I've never had any problems with it. You can get them on your computer through Chrome/Firefox extensions too. Plus, it's made by the guy who makes Clockworkmod, so you're supporting a great developer in the process.
