No offensive but I've seen enough of these tech support chat logs posted on xda over the years to know that they would tell you Elvis isn't dead and pro wrestling isn't predetermined if it made you go away faster.

All I got from that was that the chat agent said he doesn't know anything about upcoming releases.
Robert: You can get information of coming releases of samsing in news column in the samsung web site.
Robert: As this is technical support, we have only this information about Jelly Bean update for GT-P 7510.

Samsung is all talk and no action!! They need to prove themselves by doing!
They can start by recalling all Galaxy S variants that say they have a GPS issues and fix the antenna contacts in them.

Folks - Samsung is giving Galaxy Indulge users the hard shaft, and in the process, violating the GPL. They have been extremely unresponsive, and it's high time they're brought public. The Galaxy Indulge is the Epic's little cousin on MetroPCS.
Please read the following, and spread the word everywhere possible. Samsung's behavior is nothing short of shameful.

I'm not sure about that, but I sent email to the FSF and the Software Freedom Conservancy (on the recommendation of Randy T.).
since K0nane's explanation post mentions a broken netfilter, Harald Welte at http://gpl-violations.org/ sholuld be interested.
He has taken many companies to court for GPL violations of netfilter code and won. by June 2006, he had finished and won over 100 cases.
Just a thought...

[The Petition]**We Need Your Support**

As Galaxy S owners, we are all united. As Android users we are all united. As far as Samsung is concerned we are all NOT created equal. Our device, the Vibrant (SGH-T959), is now being left to the wayside for any future updates from Samsung even though our core specs are extremely similar to the Google Nexus S, which has already received the ICS update. The CyanogenMod team has left us due to the on-going issue of 911/e911 and the lack of the proper code from Samsung to alleviate a potentially fatal result of a custom ROM. It is our intentions to serve Samsung with a petition asking for the update to ICS, which will in-turn, alleviate the 911/e911 issue as well.
We are asking all Galaxy S users to sign this petition to get Samsung to reconsider giving all top end Galaxy S devices the ICS update. Please help us with our goal and sign the petition. If you are on a Galaxy S phone, this affects you too.
Thank you for reading this and please see this link for more details and this link to sign the petition.
I concur

Well the ns4g was given ics from google and not samsung. But the problem becomes a ram issue (fascinate has only 384mb, not sure on the other variants) and the fact that samsung isn't going to give you straight up ics, it would be a fat pig that includes touch wiz and would also munch all of the ram just on boot. Even cm9 has it's ram challenges running on the fascinate. I'm not at all surprised or shocked that samsung has made this decision. But good luck with your efforts.
good day.

He's right, the posts about the OTA on EL30 just started this week. There WERE posts about EL30 being worked on in early January. I don't see the need to complain about a few OTA threads...besides, existing threads usually get way off track and keep rising to the top for topics not even related to the original title.
