HD2 hardware mod

Hi all,
First of all sorry for mine bad english.
I have 2 htc hd2 phones, and i was wondering if i can make 1 super phone of it like using the both processors or have more ram to use ?
Thanks,
Zulfikar
Nope. But you have a bunch of spare parts in case anything breaks on the one you use most.

Lg nexus ?

Anyone thinking of jumping over to the lg nexus when it get announced?
Soon our beloved nexus s will be 2 years old and will really start to show it's age
I'm 80% sure I'll be getting the new nexus
Quad core s4 pro is a beast
2gb ram

Got my nexus a few months ago on a 2 year contract.
I'll be getting the new nexus. I'm actually really excited about it. I know LG had a bad reputation as fat as maintaining and keeping things up to date, but Google will be handling that, so no worries.
Being a Nexus rooting and unlocking should be easy.

I want it! Thinking about it hard! Form factor us a huge issue for me. I feel that the phone will be to big tbh. I miss the perfect size that the current nexus has.
Sent from my Nexus S
Yes I want it just hope Sprint get it & doesn't take months to sell it or I may get the Note 2 or skip them both & wait for next year phones with 1080p HD screens & arm cortex A-15 CPU I want Exynos 5250 with Mali-T 604 GPU they say this dual core chip is 2x faster than tegra 3!!!

Really just depends on the battery for me. Two things I don't care for with my current Nexus S 4G is the camera and the small battery. Other than that it's a helluva device. Camera im sure will be better its just the battery im hoping gets a beastly upgrade. Tired of pluging my phone in whenever I want to use it and having to turn off data / jump through hoops or just plain not using my phone to get through a full day.

I'll probably move on either to the Galaxy Nexus or whatever Google's new pure Android offering is; I'm not committing to anything until I see my options in their final release state.
I'm sticking with the Nexus line for sure...
Whatever is available and appealing to me at the time of my upgrade (in April 2013) is what I'll switch to. I imagine there will be another Nexus device out by then, if things go the way I've been reading about. We'll see.
I'm 99.99% sure that I'll be getting the LG Nexus.
Depending in the price for the unlocked ... maybe!!
It looks pretty good.
I'm 99% sure I'll get it, unless they seriously **** it up.

Either that or the optimus g. 13 mp camera sounds nice on the optimus..I love nexus though. I've had no problems really.

Early upgrade available so I'll be all over that. The note 2 was on the cards but the rumours started...... and. The rest is history.

Apparently there will be a black and white model. Which would you get?
Nexus S (GSM i9020a)
AOKP (Build 5 - 4.1.2)
Matrix Kernel (23.5 - CFS)
Ondemmand (Screen On) (800/100)
Ondemmand (Screen Off) (400/100)
Deep Idle (N/A - Deadline)
BLX (N/A - Inverted Apps)
Black Exodus (Stock Voltage)
White sometimes discolours and looks dirty a black one would be my choice

I'll be getting the next Nexus phone (unlocked), but not the one by LG, as they are horrible in supporting/updating their devices (according to my co-worker, who owns an LG G2X).
im going to wait few months untill the price drop down 30% or more

I want something new and I want it to be a nexus so maybe. Both the galaxy nexus and lg nexus look too big for my hands, but something has to give as I push my nexus s too hard. My phone reboots itself once a day or more with both stock JB and CM 10.

Using MultiROM with Nexus 4?

I've converted my Optimus G into a Nexus 4 and am wondering if anyone has tried to use MultiROM with their handset. Apparently it functions for the Nexus 7 with what limited knowledge I have in reading up on it. The reason I ask is because I'd ultimately like to run stock Android on some form along with Ubuntu Phone which has released is developer version to our phone recently, and this can be accomplished on the Nexus 7.
Should I even bother asking at this point I don't know, but figured its worth a shot as I love flashing roms whenever is convenient. I don't believe that Boot Manager in the play store is yet supported for the Nexus 4 at this point and if it were I doubt it would allow for ubuntu phone.

I don't have an answer for you, but how is your phone running since the conversion?

Because Optimus G is G+4, but Nexus 4 is just 4
It has ran just fine until the last month or so. Using an early cm 10.1 room with capacitive buttons and 8gb sd recognition. Lately my phone will randomly power off for no apparent reason so I will look to refresh my handset soon.
The Optimus G is considered a more reliable phone over the Nexus 4 from what I've read. It also allows for storage beyond 16gb since the att version includes that on board and allows external storage also. There is a HD ask to allow for 16gb internal recognized which I have not yet performed. No issues with my phone but rare overheating which I remedy by turning off my phone for it to cool down for a few mins at best.

Nexus 4 vs SGS4 vs Htc One (lag)

Hi everybody, I want to buy one of this three devices (since I have a very old phone now, the galaxy ace), but I'd like to know which one is the most lagfree. The s4 and the htc one are surely faster (even If I saw some videos in which the n4 with custom rom was faster than an s4 with stock rom), but what about lag? Is the n4 really the smoothest android experience? Thanks in advance!
I have not gotten the chance to try the Galaxy S4 but I have gotten to use an HTC One for a few days, I loved the phone but I still feel my Nexus 4 was a smoother experience. The HTC one is extremely smooth and fast though, no doubt.
Sent from my Nexus 4
I've heard that the s4 has some lag. Either way every android phone I had with oem skin on has gotten more and more slow and laggy, my gnex is almost smoother then my s3 by now.. I have no idea why
Skickat från min Nexus 4 via Tapatalk 2
The S4 is very laggy at the moment. I've had both the AT&T and T-Mobile version both lag during leaving apps. Sometime it lags on the home screen while moving through pages.
HTC one i only got to play with for about 30 mins and it was pretty smooth. I didn't notice lag at all. But the nexus with a custom rom is going to be better until someone makes better use of the HTC one and GS4 power.
And for the record the GS4 lag on a custom rom CM10 and Wicked.
I played with a brand new s4 today, only factory apps installed, and imported contacts, and i definitely noticed some ui lag. Nexus 4 is way smoother imo.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
The S4 is stupidly laggy for something with such amazing hardware. From videos that I've seen the One seems pretty much as lag-free as the N4, right now the One is definitely the best phone on the market IMO.
Ok guys, thanks for the help! I want the nexus 4 so badly!

I had a play wit ha S4 yesterday. Its almost unrecognizable as an android device. Samsung has done their best to bloat touchwiz up so bad, it almost wont run. Shame for a phone with such awesome hardware to have stuttering and lag like that .
S4 is too much laggy (exynos octa version) because it doesnt have a govenor and I/O scheduler sufficiently smart to manage the low-power and and performance cores.
If you wanna add a wildcard how about the s4 Google edition, all the nexus experience with the Sammy hardware. Unlocked bootloader out of the box. Should be a contender.

I read that the s4 gogle edition will be an USA exclusive, and I live in Italy... Also the nexus 4 looks 100 times cooler ahahah
I was torn between the GE S4 and the Nexus. I picked the nexus because it is the same experience for almost have the price.

I've got a Nexus 4. Zero lag. Very smooth. I've gone into a few different AT&T stores to check out the HTC One and the S4. Every time I tried the S4, the first thing I noticed was lag. I was really surprised. Even a little jittery when swiping the home screen. It's not terrible, don't get me wrong, but it's there. Didn't notice it with the HTC One.
My thoughts are that the HTC One has the highest build quality of the three. There's no doubt, it's the most "premium" and for that reason it makes me want one. It also has the best screen in my opinion. However, there's also no doubt that the Nexus 4 has the best software (both HTC and Samsung ruined their phones with all the unnecessary changes they made) and there's also obviously no doubt that it will get Android updates the quickest and longest into the future, so for that reason I'd stick with my Nexus 4. I also hate that both HTC and Samsung removed the dedicated app switcher button (which I use all the time). The Nexus 4 battery life is a little disappointing coming from an iPhone 4S, but it blows the iPhone away in almost every other way in my opinion.
The best phone "in the world" would be an HTC One that was a Nexus and had the app-switcher button. But, it doesn't exist. So, Nexus 4 is my vote instead.

New phones?

LG G Flex
Note 3 is amazing. It would be a dream in Google edition.

If you just want a faster device with higher resolution I would suggest LG G2/N5.

I feel like everything is a little "undercooked" now.
64bit CPU's are on the way.
4K Displays are in the discussion while the GPU's would still not be powerful enough to drive games on them in a serious way.
Nvidia and Qualcomm start adding new GPU features like Desktop Open Gl, Tesselation. Meanwhile Snapdragon's OpenGl Es 3.0 drivers are still broken and unusable.
Intel wants to enter the ARM market and could bring some really good CPU's.
It is time for the manufacturing tech to go below 28nm, which has been used for quite a while and is still used in Snapdragon 805 and Tegra K1. It could save some serious Watts.
The HEVC/H265 video codec is on the way, and until now only the Snapdragon 805 can handle it.
The European GPS System Galileo is supposed to start this year, yet none of the phones features support for it.
And then there is always the simple truth that the Nexus 4 is still incredibly powerful and fast.
You could argue, that tech always develops incredibly fast, but I will wait and see how it works out until 2015.
I made myself a list of "must have" features, before I buy a new phone again.
