From your previous posts, I can tell you like comparing your phone to others.
If you are not pleased with it, just sell it because no one is going to justify keeping their s3.
The iPhone 5, Note 2, and Lumia all have their pros and cons buy the one which you think you can live with. In a few months they will all be obsolete, that's how technology works.

Best all rounder there is the S3
Fluid
Simple UI (Touchwiz JB version)
Great camera
Micro SD
Decent size
Nice build/design
Nice screen
Mature OS
Removable Battery
Excellent CPU/GPU
All at a decent price now
I;ve cracked my S3 screen
But I am definitely replacing it with another one.

Best form in the world
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
iPhone 5 is already using obsolete tech, note 2 while better than S3 is too big 4.8in screen is perfect for me and lumia is made by a company way past its peak now.
This logic (almost as good as the logic in the op) says S3 is still best. Go S3, oh and this will probably get locked soon.

Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
Note II looks like a better choice hardware wise if only the size is not a problem for you (for me it's too bulky). In Nexus 4 battery life and camera are not very impressive. It also lacks sd card slot. If you're fine with it then take N4 for best rom support. Agree Galaxy 3 should be also considered with its vulnerability being the only drawback in my opinion.

Buy Note 2!
I looked at it deeper, and i found out Note 2 is better than Nexus4 and SGSIII.
Bigger screen (1080p) and better speakers.

my friend, they all have HD720p not full HD 1080p.
If you support closed binary drivers which result in vendor dependency go buy any Samsung, if you want the latest Roms/android versions, the right to choose and maybe getting into Rom development then a nexus is your device.
I've got the n4 and I'm very happy with it but I like to build roms, cherry pick features and play around with the phone.
It's your decision
™
usage
note II!! definitely!! but depend on what you want to use. i like note II for it features, mainly for works(bigger screen for reading), s-pen to take note, etc etc.. but for game.. i dont know.
I am running ParanoidAndroid 2.99 with Pie features on my Note2 and it is a terrific phone. The nexus 4 is a league lower, bad camera and battery life. Two things I care about most in my phone except for it's "smartness"
note 2 is better
Honestly I don't think the Nexus 5 is worth giving up the Nexus 4 just yet unless you are in dire need of the 32gb space which I guess most of you are. I think I'll hold on to my Nexus 4 for one more year and then make the leap to the Nexus 6 or whatever they'll call it.
I think Google will support the N4 for at least one more year and if not we always have these lovely devs.

Not worth it for me ether. I've never been one for upgrading every single year I don't see the point in paying that much to do the same thing but slightly quicker.
I tend to upgrade every 2-3 years

In my opinion, it will be the same price as the Nexus 4 was on release.. I don't think there is anything that looks like it is going to be more expensive than the components were when the Nexus4 came out. If it is cheap enough, I would be happy to upgrade once a year, sell the old phone and be only a little bit out of pocket

I think the key indicators of it being slightly more expensive than the N4 is the 4.9 inch screen, 1080p slightly larger battery and pressure sensor (whatever that is). I could be wrong but I'm willing to bet it will be slightly more.

Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
It depends on what you use your phone for on weather it will be an upgrade.
For instance I use my phone quite often for playing my old psx games so the extra storage is a godsend.
Also I prefer to play them using opengl graphics as they look so much better however currently opengl only runs single threaded so it can be quite laggy.
If the nexus 5 does include the rumoured 2.3ghz s800 then it would provide a massive improvement to the framerates and would be a great upgrade for me
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
My solution is really easy for this problems. Since Google doesn't sell devices here through the Play Store, I fall under the pricing of LG, which will be ridiculously high as always, so even if I wanted to purchase this phone, I couldn't for an affordable price.
I'm glad they are keeping a leash on my finances.
