Hey everybody I'm posting this problem for a friend with the N7 that's having problems with her camera. One day it just started showing the screens I've attached. Any idea what it could be?

Try a different camera app. Could be problems with the app itself. I have heard of some people experiencing issues with the n7 camera tho, hopefully it's not a defective camera

Try a factory reset.

I use the Camera Launcher for Nexus 7 - MoDaCo. No problems what so ever.

Likely just a glitch. If the phone works fine just chalk it up to that.

Yeah it's happened to me a couple of times over the years after a full battery cycle it should be fine.

Anybody else having this issue? Not sure what's triggering it. Just happens randomly. Doing multiple restarts fixes it. Sometimes the screen just goes wild even.
I'm on stock and unrooted by the way. I've already factory reset my phone to try to fix it. Still spazzing out.

Hi,
Take a look in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521663.
Same issue as yours in post #89 and #112...

Did you ever figure this out, or did you end up sending it in for a warranty repair? Curious as I'm running into a similar issue now on my Sprint variant.
Hey guys my friend asked me what this icon is for? I can't seem to figure it out. I have never seen something like that on my Nexus.
She's concerned coz nothing happens when she clicks on it.
I asked her to reboot but I'd still like to know what it is and what it does.
Any help is appreciated.
Here's the picture. I am talking about the left most icon. The one that has an eye on a film reel.

Settings, display, smart video. Used to keep a video on screen of out can detect she is looking at the screen

ah, smart video.. thx
So I recently bought an lg g2 and I've been noticing this weird faded black dot on my pictures. I thought it was the thingy you get when you use flash but I didn't use flash. Tried wiping it a few times though, might be stuck inside. But how the hell did it get inside if it was something.

This happened to Marco Agas from my color screen (themer launcher creator). I don't know if he found a fix, but many said that it was likely some dust that got in there after he dropped it the other day. Check out this post on g+ and see if he ever found a solution.

Can anyone help me identify this item showing up in my battery usage? It's not something I've ever seen on any of my phones, and it's just a number... I'm not rooted or anything, haven't gotten around to it yet.

I think that means it's an app you used and have recently uninstalled, thus Android doesn't know the name of it.
Ahhh that is a good guess. Thanks, I didn't think of that. I will see if it shows up again on the next battery cycle.
