Hi,
I have Quarx latest CM7.2 nightly installed on my mb526.
The only thing that annoys me is phone number digit grouping in contact list.
It defaults to:
072-123-4567
I would like it to be (we usually spell numbers like that)
0721-234-567
or just plain number without hypens.
The fact is some numbers don't have formating, like +40723456789.
What can I do to tweak this?
Change the phone's language from English (US) to English (UK)

Hallo,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and my wife a Galaxy S4 mini. My phone has Android 4.3 and S4 mini Android 4.2.2. In my phone until I had Android 4.2.3 my phone number's digits (from Romania) were grouped like 07X XXX XXXX instead of correct one: 07XX XXX XXX. Now after Android update it is ok in the right format. But in my wife's phone it doesn't exist update for Android to 4.3 and it looks wrond the format. Where can I set to change to right format? My language in both phones are Hungarian.
Thank you.

Hi all,
I want to try and official version of WinMO 6.5 for HTC Snap.
I know we can download from HTC websit, however Telefónica here in Spain doesn't allows to flash HTC Snap to 6.5.
Can someone send me a serial number only to download the ROM from HTC?
Many thanks
-Eric
I have a few users that would love the upgrade too
All we need is the right format serial, this is what I did for an upgrade for my touch pro a while back.
The snaps we have are HT963N then 6 digits eg HT963N123456 it should be as simple as changing some of the first few digits.
HT962N comes up as valid but 'not suitable' too..
We dont need a proper serial, just the right format.. anyone?
Sorry for asking the question but...
Why don't you just read your Snap's S/N under its battery ?

Because the serial numbers we have dont allow you to download the update from the HTC site.
looks like all you have to do is change the last 4 digits of the serial number till one works. i used 2211
Had to do the HardSSPL first.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550620
this install gets to 23% then dies.
Going to have to try and find an original flash or get one of the re-cooked ones now.
OK, I used a fried one for asia and it worked, I also discovered if I changed my country to Singpore on the HTC site I was able to download the Asia version, which would also work on my device.

Hi there. There is an Arabic ROM, from samfirmware.com, firmware > Android > Galaxy Tab > P1000JPJJ2
I havn't flashed it yet, but wouldn't advise doing it without some knowledge and experience in flashing mobile devices in general. I came from N1 and the Odin stuff can easily brick your Tab.

The upgrade should be appearing and flashing via Kies, if it did not Odin is the only way and its not that hard or critical (did mine that way)
Hello, I want to change the display language to spanish in my AT&T HTC Surround but the setting appears to be locked (the option is in black background) and can't be changed when I tap on it.
Also, the only option for keyboard languages is english.
Am I doing something wrong or is it that AT&T removed those features?
Do you guys know if this will be fixed in a software update?
Thanks.
the OS supports spanish, but at&t probably chose not to include the language pack for whatever reason. It could be added in a future update, but its entirely up to at&t.

Hi
I have flashed the rom following the guide by MarrkDaviid (Thanks) - Fix Caller ID, install Google Play on the Galaxy S4 i9502.
I have tried changing it to 11 / 12 / 10 and none of it works.
I have also change the contacts phone number to look like how it was display when someone called me (04XX XXX XXX) and
it did not work as well. It didn't work when my contacts' number was 614XX XXX XXX as well.
Can anyone help me with this?
The phone has an Australia Optus and Telstra sim card in it.
Thanks.
Hi
Seems that it is working now if I put the phone number in my contacts in this format - 04xx xxx xxx
Can anyone tell me how I can make it work with the 11 number format? - 614xx xxx xxx
I now have both format in my contacts number so that the caller id work.
Please help.
Thanks.

Hi nfribeiro
Thanks for the reply.
Just tried and change to 9 and I did clear the contacts storage,
but it still did not work.
For a solid CallerID solution, check out this post :

My patch is written for SVA ROM 3.5 but I'm pretty sure you can do the same for SVA 2.5 or even the stock ROM.

Hi all,
First post here so please be gentle. I have been an HTC fan for many years and I have just bought my wife and I each the U Ultra. I noticed in the language selection there is no UK English only US English. Our phones are the International dual sim version either Taiwan or Hong Kong, I am not entirely sure. Is there a way I can install UK English on to my phone? I have had the recent OTA Oreo update.
Many thanks
Chris

Thanks

For now, these is no rom for you. If you can give me your phone's system dump, i can make a rooted version for you.
It is OK thanks, I have managed to get a fix.
I installed MoreLocale2, accessed usb debugging, ran a batch file to override permissions and selected the correct language region from the MoreLocale2 app list.
Thank you for your help.
