Using The Galaxy Note As A FULL PC! [My Final Video, Fairwell] - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

Hey guys, so I made a video seeing how the galaxy note performs as a full sized 29" PC replacement in the scenario where your PC is broken and all you have is your note! This will be my final galaxy note video
Enjoy!

Oh man... That makes me sad ive been following your videos since i have my note. Can u "remade" the video using hydracore 5.3oc kernel and CleaNote 6.0 and check the performance... I think youre gonna be surprised

Hi
It's awesome but how you connect HDMI MHL & USB Flash Memory together

James/Coldfustion I've watched all your videos since you first did them on the HD2 (particularly the HD2 tablet one) and always liked that we would always grab the same phones and try to do the same things. Always loved your ideas, and what phone are you going to? Cya there soon!

You can only use the blutooth mouse with HDMI in that case. Only one USB peripheral (including HDMI can be connected at once unfortunately)

That was a shot of me transferring a file without HDMI at that point. Sorry about that, it's confused a few people!

I made a couple of videos for the Tab 10.1

Hey guys,
Just wanted to share some of my work so there are more views than just me on my videos
I know they're not of the highest production value, and I kind of jump around quite a bit (was a few beers deep at this point), but if you're on the fence or just want to see how someone else has their device setup, this may help:
Honeycomb 3.1 Tips & Tricks - Android, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiYDMaYhHCI&feature=channel_video_title

tl;dw. 25min for the t&t is way long man. split it up in shorter vides with a short description of what each video will show. a lot more people will watch.

Hi,
Thanks for this "unpolished" review. I guess I really understand why people complain about the lags and FCs when scrolling and resizing. Did not see them in all those "professional" reviews. Do they get special hardware units or did you mess up your tablet so badly? Just kidding.
Overall quality could be improved in for next videos but unlike common YouTube-sense I liked this lengthy review so much that I featured it on my blog if you don't mind....

It was updated Sept 15th on mine through Market.
So, you are the two people that actually use Media Hub.
Make that 3. I swear, there is nothing that shows off this screen better than a movie from there. I bought 2 movies right when I got this phone and the clarity is every bit as good as my HDTV

Found a new fantastic app'.

I've just found a fantastic new app' that works brilliantly on the Note.
It's called 'Screencast Video Recorder' and basically it makes a video of your Android screen as you use the phone. So you can set it to record and then navigate through menus or applications, games etc and it records it all as an MP4 video. Really useful for those wanting to do demos of their system or showing off their prowess in games.
And the good news is that it's now just 99p on the Marketplace.
I've no connection whatsoever to the app', the developer etc but just thought it was a fantastic and very clever app' worth sharing with fellow Note owners.
Enjoy.

I bought this app a few days ago for about £3
The app is excellent though and the audio is crystal clear using the Note.
Does anyone know what would be the ideal settings to use on our Note's as when I use it, the phone does tend to get very hot.
I have attached a screen shot of the results of the benchmark using the app :
Just a quick note, you need root for Screencast Video Recorder to work
Hasc - I get a benchmark of 86400. I've managed to up the framerate to 30 fps without any issues.
p.s. Don't forget the 'Thanks' button if you like the recommendation. ;-)

You can use it to do reviews of apps
You can reproduce errors that you may encounter with your device
You can help other users by demonstrating functions or steps to do something on device
You can show others how to get 3 stars in angry birds
The above are just a few suggestions, please use your imagination.
I got it, thanks!! Cool.

Cheers man, not the best jump in the world but you do get to see the capabilities of the GN2 and looking back it does seem to be recorded in 1/4
Will have to try that out this weekend when i'm watching the Footy at my local rec ground.
Speaking as someone who has a cousin who works as a stable lad (UK trainer Mary Reveley) I would suggest that next time she sits back a bit on landing, much like they do in the Grand National.
