Hi, i have a ZTE Movistar Prime, or Class depending on the country, as far as i know is the same hardware than the ZTE Blade gen2.
I have two doubts that maybe someone can help me.
1. Can i use cyanogen mod in it?
2. The zte blade gen2, has 512 mb of ram, 256mb is available by software, the other 256mb is lost and can be activated. Someone know if is there a way to query the amount of memory available on my phone, without using the Kernel that blocks 256mb to confirm if i can activate it or not?
I have my phone rooted with z4root and the phone has stock android 2.2.
Thanks in advance!

What does it mean the kernel is only suit to the Blade device with 4 Gb ROM? I though all Blade handsets had 4Gb (512 MB) ROM!

Some Chinese versions are 256MB.
Compression is just annoying lol..
zip(which compress nothing at all at this point)>parts>gz>tar
It's quite a big update, lots of changes in this version, here is the difference between this new code & the old 'ZTE Roamer' source ... https://github.com/John-Kenney/ZTE-R-kernel-35/commit/c9244b86744c2b266585a7c28f1cd2b9c5eb6713
Wbaw, do you plan to switch to this kernel in some later version of the current r series?
Sent from my ZTE-BLADE using Tapatalk
Burstlam already did this for CM7 and other ROMs.
Original thread is here.
Maybe a mistake

While,I think it is a small mistake ,it might be "4Gb Ram" instead.
In the email replied to me,ZTE siad the kernel source id only for Blade overseas.
Note that Blade for mainland China has just a 256M Ram,^_^''
Good news for Blade comunity

Ok so I have a ZTE Blade C2 (it's a Mexican cell phone) and everywhere I go there's not a single post or page stating if the Blade 2 ROMS are compatible with the C2, in fact, there's not a single page I can find with ROMS specifically for the C2 (V809) so I just want to ask, can I install Blade 2 roms in it, or is there a high possibility that it is not compatible?

What I want to do is turn this european phone into an american one. GSM ; 2G , 3G 4G LTE etc.
Anybody ?
also to join the request
Now, i ported successfully a CM12.1 ROM for Alcatel Pixi 4(6) 8050D... I have since today the ZTE BLADE A452.
I Join the request, Bootloader unlock i think is: Fastboot oem unlock code..Try imeadly and root Kingroot. i think this is by all china phones (ZTE,ALCATEL,....)
we muss have a recovery e.g. from Same Chipset to port and same CM rom.
all Files e.g. boot.img Recovery.img needed.
Edit: Its same Bootloader from Alcatel pixi.......so unlocking is easy
Are there ANY ROM's available for ZTE Blade A452?
Are there ANY ROM's available for ZTE Blade A452?

Ofcourse I would like to have some latest version with atleast some Android vulnerabilities patched too.

1. Download the latest firmware from oficial ZTE website
2.Backup all of your data by pressing the "backup" icon on the Zte screen
3.Copy update.zip into your SD card root directory.
4.Go to software update from settings menu and press update from Sd card.
5. Voila, after the update is completed, you can safely restore your settings and apps from the backup icon on zte screen.
Obs: Don't forget that you need at least 20% battery life just to be safe.

Yes this old phone maybe called dead...

I like this small piece of 2011s crap
Will someone resurrect the ZTE Blade with android GO?
maybe konstaT is a littl' bit nostalgic, too 3 // or just for a POC (Proof Of Concept)...
