System:160 data:254 cache:34
If you are using a odex rom,the Cache partition is free at all!!
First, you must make a backup with Recovery.Down the attachments and Extract.....Enter the fastboot and connect your phone, open the SwiftBootloaderBuilder.exe

Don't change the other Options
You just click the Flash new button and hold on !!!Don't click the "OK" !
Copy appsboot_150_234_64.mbn to SwiftBootloaderBuilder\platform-tools and cover the old file,go back SwiftBootloaderBuilder.exe ,and you can click the "OK" now.

How about just use cache2sd. There is a how-to in gt540 modding forum here

good job!
but i prefer 140mb for system, 34mb for cache and 274mb for data, can you do that?

Yes, there is a way !!! if you have root explorer, you can just copy your 'bootanimation.zip' into the data/local/ folder of your phone and set the permissions to 644.
There is an other way, you just have to download this application on google play : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.simproductions.bachanger&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zaW1wcm9kdWN0aW9ucy5iYWNoYW5nZXIiXQ..

go through all your apps in link2sd and click create link and then link everything to your 2nd partition
you may have to uninstall a few apps first if it comes up not enough storage and then once you have linked your apps you can install them again
if you have already linked apps then you must have an app that uses a hell of a lot of data - you can see what app that could be if you arrange apps in order of data use and then clear data of that app (note any saved settings/progress and so on within the app will be lost)
sometimes some apps misbehave after linking....specially software update thing:what:
Sent from my GT-S5360 using XDA Free mobile app
The internal memory where user apps are installed is of /data partition.
So freeing up /system partiton is useless...instead u need to b concerned with freeing up /data partition(which is sufficiently free...I guess)
However, extra apps or scripts in /system partition CAN fill up RAM btw:sly:

maybe you have too many system apps installed.. you should delete some
How to use meteos app for partition of app memory ..
Here i mention it
So read it carefully before trying it in our 504q
Better to try any rom with full root permission and select 1st your defalt memory to phone memory
Meteos is android app
First step
Take cwm backup of your current rooted rom
then install meteos app then select.. How many memory u want for app
Like 1.5, 2, 2.5 gb..
Only select that size which is less than your (internal memory+app memory)
Like my app memory is 1 gb and internal 1.5 gb, then i selected 2gb for app. .
After select this app ask for reboot in recovery. Select that..
And now in recovery restore your cwm backup of rom.. Which is created in step 1.
Caution - after partition like that.. U can not install stock rom without sp flash tool..
But all custom rom will work.. So no worries.

Gdrive
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwlowRZ1NPc4eFNuOGt5elpjeEU/edit?usp=docslist_api
1 more thing.. After this.. First if it will not show u internal memory.. Then just flash any custom rom and all will be fine..
And for installation of stock rom u need firmware flash by sp flash tool
