[Q] Fullscreen caller ID - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

How do devs get it in their ROMS which are free? Where is the apk located and can it be put into another ROM?
Edit: How do i modify my own phone.apk to display fullscreen caller id in HD. The ones that come with ROMs are blurry. I dunno how they get it in HD.

It looks like you have to do the selections in their app and it doesn't use the contact file. Any apps that use the already existing interface?
Anyone else? I'm not looking for full screen, just big enough that is visible.

How do you upload pictures by the way. Can't see how thx

When you post in the app click more, select the image you want to upload from gallery out other options. I found that if i tried to keep original image it wouldnt work but the small size option works fine. Next click inline and your pic should appear like this one.

Sorry for the double post, but looks like the board doesn't except .png images which the note saves in. The small version is converted to .jpg

Location of ICS background image

My i9000 has a slight issue in displaying greys. The settings menu and any other app that uses it look awful on my phone.
All I want to know is the location the background is stored so I can change it to an all black background. I've asked this question in many different threads and no one had answered me yet. So many thanks to whoever tells me.

I'm assuming no one knows then?

What else does a black theme change other than the settings menu background?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA
Lots of stuff, messaging, phone, market,g mail, YouTube, menus, status bar, depends on the theme, but good for battery, and generally stylish

If you are on a Samsung ROM it's different case though, roms come with their own fixed themes if I remember, been a long time! That's the advantage of aosp/cm7/9 you have the theme chooser engine to play with

Google black wallpaper, find one bigger than your screen size and save it to your desktop or straight to your phone.
Then change the wallpaper to the new image using gallery or quickpic or whatever app you use to view photos.

I'm using Elite 1.4.1 that does have a black version. I think I'll try it out.

Go system/framework open frameworkres.apk as a zip. Look drawable-hdpi

In framework-res.apk it's apparently in /res/values/styles.xml and color.xml
The only problem is I don't have a /values folder... Where else could styles.xml and color.xml be stored?
I'm using Elite 1.4.1 if it makes any difference.

You'll get values folders only by going into a decompiling process.

Assuming you are using ICS, its located in framework-res.apk (\res\drawable-nodpi\background_holo_dark)

[Q] Can I directly resize .9.pngs directly from pic resizers?

Hi,
I'm just wondering this, because I have got loads of .9s and resized them via Faststone photo resizer.
Your help will really help me by saving my precious times!
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda app-developers app
I do not think so , as .9 is resized with built in android tools
So I need to do it one at a time?
