I have a Defy+ here and it just suddebly stopped working with that i mean the touch screen.
so i rebooted and saw that the bottom part only did not work, so no app drawer ETC
what is the cause of this and how can i fix this?

I flashed the CM7 into my baby and it is working great, however the bottom 1/4 inch of my screen is not accepting input. It displays fine but when I touch the screen noting happens. The problem remains when I flip 90 degrees. Is there a solution for this?

I lost my phone on the ground and it got a big crack across the screen. However, the screen is still on, the picture and colors and everthing is fine, except there is not reaction when I touch. I've tried resetting the phone but it doesn't work. There is not touch anywhere in the screen. So I'm wondering if the digitalizer is broken, or if the problem is elsewhere? Can I fix this? Would it work if I bough a new dispplay and digitalizer to replaced the old one?
Maybe the touch screen is not working? If you turn on the phone, do you get the animations correctly?
I get the animations correctly. Everyhing seems to be just fine, except i cant touch.
I have a moto defy which I replaced the touch screen (digitizer) from one that I purchased on eBay, I did it, but now it does not respond to almost any touch movement, I can't type well, I can't answer calls, etc, etc, so I went back to the old screen which was working fine and now it has the same problem, what should I do? is there any way to recalibrate the screen, assuming that's the problem? please help me out, thanks!!

I have an odd problem eversince i took the plane (it was going well the morning) the touch screen started acting weird. A little part of the middle screen doesn't respond, well when i touch it the bottom of the screen respond (like an application opens which is in the bottom).

Hi all,
So I dropped my phone and now the bottom area of the touchscreen does not work. I can see everything clearly but can't touch the bottom (1cm) of the screen.
Anyone faced this issue?

You will need to replace the screen. I've seen this happen with my co-worker's phone. After I replaced the screen, everything was fine.
