[Q] not able to copy to system says read only

i cant really copy any file to the system of my dhd...
i am using root explorer .. i m rooted .. and i am also mounted as r/w ..
so what is causing this ... and what am i suppose to do???
any one out there to help me out with this?

i am s-off.. i am on leedroid 2.3.2 beta 4 rom.. and after u asked me i even tried one click eng s off... but even after that says the same thing file system is read only

I'm having the same problem on my lee beta setup. Strange.

You can try "screen capture shortcut" in the market. I'm root, but it always worked for.me and never asked for root permitions. It's for non rooted phones. I have an sgs i9000 so I don't know if it will work for your phone.give a try because it's a very good app.

you could go the old school way and do it through ADB dalvik debug manager

Yea shootme app should be coming out with an update soon though for non rooted phones

well, I,m' sorry it didn't worked for you. Yiu can only root your device or use the ddms method as mentioned in a link before,wich is quite simple to use and no root required. Just install sdk,update packages and in ask file on tools you'll find ddms,launch it and conect your device in debug mode. There you have an option to capture photos that you can save on your pc. Good luck ;-)

Is my nexus 7 unlock and rooted?

Hi guys,
how do i check to see if my nexus 7 is unlock and root?
I can see 'unlock' logo when I boot up the unit...
now when I go to SuperSU .. and click 'i want to update.." it keep saying that it can't be update
I'm using GameCIH and that doesn't work either...nor rootexplorer to folders in the data area..
i'musing 4.1.2.

See if you can use Titanium Backup from the market. It will tell you if you have root, which I think you don't

already reported it, how can I fix this?

Try clearing the app data and the app cache,
Settings-application-application managment-select xda app and clear data and cache

Search for Tapatalk forum app on Google™ Play... it doesn't FC like XDA app. XDA app has also some other bugs which you'll find later on, if u continued using XDA app. So, go for Tapatalk... the best forum app(for me)

Well, i get this problem when i open the app.
Any solution?
I tried to install in usb debugging but i get the same error.
My device is rooted...
