Hi guys can I call with samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1. I want to buy it but I want to use it as a phone also not just surfboard....
Yes you can but you should buy the 5100 version only has 3g and telephony and sms functions
Do not buy 5113 or 5110 they are wifi only
Notice : you carrier should support gsm not cdma (in usa i think at&t ) if not ask about verizon 7 inch tab
Sent from Galaxy S2 or Galaxy Tab2
Thank you very much Mohamed Selim merci

All i got from your post was u have a galaxy y and it doesnt catch 3g network while ace gets connected to 3g via same carrier:sly::sly:
If that ^^^ is true, just have a look at network settings if they are set to use 2g only, 3g only or dual mode.
If its set to 2g only then change it to dual or 3g.

My guesses- sim on galaxy y doesn't have 3g activation
or else change the network mode to wcdma to get 3g networks..
P.S. Do make use of full stops. They will help u and us too.
Does anybody tried the new galaxy gear on the Note 10.1?
How cool will that be, I am now using a Samsung Bluetooth Stick its good but the usage is too limited, i cannot see who is calling or i need to take out the note when making a call. But with the Gear not only that you can dial using it, you can even receive messages. Planning to buy gear but its only supported on Note 3. Anyone tried to install the gear manager on the Note 10.1
The Gear currently only works on the Note 3 or the Note 10.1 (2014) not with the 2012 version.
Well a lot of mistakes has been made. So here is little help for those who don't know what Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 they have or what differencies is between each version.
First: Versions of Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Note has this subversions:
GT-N8000 (3G & Wifi)
GT-N8005 (GT-N8000 TR-Model, no voice-calls)
GT-N8010, GT-N8013 (Wifi)
GT-N8020 (LTE, 3G & Wifi)
And don't forget that Samsung Galaxy Note has a lot of version too. It's with HW specs so will it help with development or just for comparison.
Don't forget the SCH-i925 -- 2012 verizon galaxy note 10.1 LTE
True

True as a spec. Thanks!
SCH-I925EAAUSC = U.S. Cellular 4G LTE
SCH-I925EAAVZW = Verizon 4G LTE
:good:
oh someone already mentioned the US Cell version...
hey fam ok its strange to ask but is the LTE radio in the SM-P605 hardware or software the reason am asking is for the life of me i can't seem to track down a GALAXY NOTE 10.1 2014 EDITION SM-P605M which has the 700MHz LTE in it band 17. so what am asking is if i get the 605 is it any way to get it to be 605m. Just asking
of if any one can help me locate a 605M i would really like that
Hello everyone.
This query might sound creepy but does the Galaxy Note 8.0 go well with the Galaxy S5? 'Cause after understanding Samsung's pattern of manufacture, the Note 8 is the conjugate Tab of the Galaxy S4, right? Similarly the Tab S is the conjugate Tab of the Galaxy S5. So does it make sense to have a Note 8.0 and a Galaxy S5?
Thank you.

That is what I am using right now and it works OK as a combination. I also have a Note Pro 12.1 but it is off getting repaired under warranty right now. I got the note 8 for free when my wife upgraded her phone to the S4. When I got my S5 and note Pro I kept the 8 around and still use it when I am out and about. I like the size and functionality of the 8" tablet when traveling.
