New one should have come with the glue on it.

I replaced my lcd and now im going to replace the digitizer I noticed there is some sort of rubber that goes on the outside of the digitizer, is that reusable? Do I really need it with the new one?
I have mb526 with cracked glass. Digitizer and LCD work fine.
I bought digitizer with frame for mb525 and try to replace my cracked to it. But bottom buttons doesn't works on new digitizer. I return my old cracked and buttons works correctly. Is mb525 digitizer not interchangeable with mb526 ?
Can i do something wrong ?
P.s. Sorry for my bad english.
There's always a possibility that the new digitizer could be faulty or you might have damaged it if you applied pressure on it from the back side of the glass. Also the connectors can be faulty
Hello guys
Two days ago I dropped my G2. I assumed that since it was Gorilla Glass it would be fine, and since it fell from just 3 ft high it would be fine. I was wrong. The digitizer cracked from the bottom to the top around the speaker. The LCD looks fine, but the Digitizer doesn't respond to touches
Does anyone know if I can replace only the Digitizer? I've read somewhere that the digitizer and the Screen are united by OCA glue, but I've also seen brand new G2 digitizers for sale on Ebay without the LCD. I was wondering if its possible to heat the broken Digitizer enough so that the LCD can be removed and the replacement Digitizer can be placed on top but with 3m tape.
The phone is brand new and I can't send it to LG for repairs since I'm at PR, so I would rely on the answers you guys give and the guy from the phone repair store to do the whole procedure for me
Thanks in advance!

It may be possible but will require professional tools. Better and easier way is replace lcd with frame. You can also replace lcd/digitizer module to your frame. LG phones are easy to disassembly.
Hello.. I had dropped my N4 and the front glass got cracked.. The LCD is fine but touch is not responsive with half of the screen. I'm planning to change just the digitizer. Since the LCD and the digitizer are fused together, we use heat to separate the digitizer from the LCD. But how to paste the replaced digitizer back to the LCD?? Should i use some adhesive tape?? or this ??
Please advise
Thanks
I think you need to use LOCA.

Hello guys , i recently dropped my nokia 6 Ta-1033 and the glass of the screen got broken , the phone still working perfectly , I'm wondering if i can change the glass only or i should change the whole screen with the LCD.
Thanks in advance.
Hey,you cannot change the glass without a new LCD too
Look on YouTube how to repair an Nokia 6,and you will see that the LCD is part of Touchscreen, they're not separate parts.

I found on AliExpress glass replacement with 3.5 USD but i don't know if it will work or not.
Same happened to me. I replaced it with glass and lcd found on amazon around 50€. I needed to add some tape, and reshape the metal casing which had taken a bad hit but it is now working perfectly.
