I matters where you activate it from, but you can use a VPN to get the content.

Transformers movie?

Who's 7 came with the movie?
Mine did. I wonder if it's a rental, aka once you open it, you have 24 hrs to view it, or if you downright own the movie?
Its linked onto my youtube. When I went to the site on my computer it said it was purchased
K. Thanx
I can't find it. Where did you go to find it? It won't even show up when I search for it.

Mine is a streaming copy. Tested this by disconnecting my wifi. Maybe there's a way to download it, but I rather not waste storage space on my Nexus 7.
Mine is streaming also. Just open the google movies app and it should be there.

This is what I'm looking at.

To download it, click on the pin in the lower right corner when you open Google Play Movies.
Unfortunately mine did. I did not see that movie for a reason.

Don't download it if you plan on rooting it. If you do a factory reset say goodbye to it forever.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
I've downloaded it and also performed 2 factory resets and the movie is still there in my GP account.
I stand corrected... on my ego shift I rented a movie and downloaded it, when I did a factory reset it wouldn't let me play the movie or stream it from YouTube

I still can't figure this out. I have an email into Google.

Just to clarify, you got the $25 credit but not the movie? Did you get the free magazines and music?

I got the $25 credit. I found free 30 and 14 day subscriptions to a couple magazines. I didn't see any free music.

They all have that, you sign into your Google account and open play ,movies. Of course its streaming, these tablets have limited storage. Like said, press the pin if you want it local

The Amazon version works for me. I wish it worked on Linux.

sideloaded splashtop HD from Market and works just fine. Only problem is N7's top status bar and button menu bar acting as overlay so I can't click on the very top and very bottom portion of the desktop.

interesting i never even heard of those but i'll try it out later today. Thanks !
Bubbleupnp is also another good one. Will let your phone be either a remote choosing streams from a dlna server to a dlna receiver. Or as a server itself stemming phone content to a receiver

You can try MirrorOp. Please Google "MirrorOp".

Nexus 7 as media server for ps3?

Hi guys just a questiom. I wish to use my nexus 7 as a media server for my ps3. I currently use bubbleupnp but whilst playing audio, the song cuts in and out.
Is there some kind of configuration I am missing? Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
HA! I wish it was possible but no it can't be done.
Well by using bubbleupnp I can. However like I said when songs play they cut out. It used to work fine before

Would like to show me how you're able to connect the n7 to the ps3? i want to try it out and see if I can fix the issue.
Well I use the app called bubbleupnp on the play store. As soon as you launch the app it acts as a media server. My ps3 and my xperia s and my laptop can connect to the n7. And stream view pics and music
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Besides BubbleUPnP I've used UPnPlay, iMediaShare and Air Play to stream movies to the PS3.
Thanks. I'm gonna try that when i get home.
