Instead of using Droid 2 Bootstrapper, you use ROM Manager.

Droid X 2nd init. And to access recovery on any 2nd init ROM just hold down Power til the power menu appears and select reboot->reboot recovery.

Yes youll need droidx bootstrap rather than d2 bootstrap to flash roms, rooting should be the same z4root...
