Too late to buy a nexus 7 ?

i know the nexus 7 only came out in june but do you think its to late to buy one because im thinking of grabing one tomorrow or should i wait till the next one comes out :/ ? any input would be appriciated

I would get one now, after all it hasn't been out for long. I would buy one now and enjoy what there is to offer at the present, if you keep waiting for the next piece of hardware you'll never enjoy and appreciate the current technology, and you can always sell it when the "next Nexus 7" is released.

The N7 is an excellent 7" tablet IMO. I'm extremely happy with it, and so is my gf's son who got one for his birthday.

I just picked one up about 2 weeks ago and I have zero regrets. It's a beast that handles anything I throw at it.

The only question to ask is Do you get 32gb or the 16gb.. Or WiFi or 3g if available where you are.

I went 16GB wifi because I have a 32 GB phone if I need it. However, Gamestop had a $50 off deal and there was only one 16GB available. Might need to go 32 regardless. Good buy though, I just got mine a couple days ago. I don't need a huge tablet, I wanted more of a reader and this blows the Kindle away.

OP Get the tablet you will not regret . But i recommend getting the 32 gb.. Get the gsm one if you can not tether it to your phone. other wise the wifi would be fine.. its what i have .. DO NOT LOOK BACK OR WAIT. the next best thing is the Nexus line..

You most definitely won't be sorry. I think if anything you were smart to wait since the 32gb was release and the 16 gb was dropped to $199.99.
A new nexus tablet probably won't come out at least for another 7 months anyway. Just enjoy the hell out of it.

I think you should go for a Wifi version if you already have a phone.
Since the next-gen Nexus is no way to come out soon, and new version changes nothing in performance but has 3g and more storage capacity, and the price of nexus 7 16gb wifi dropped. I think Nexus 7 16gb is the optimized choice atm.

I've had several devices, a few tablets. This device is flawless. I love it. I'm a little late to the party as well, but it doesn't matter, this device is awesome. Good luck and enjoy.

Wont Believe what happened paid for a 16gb version and they gave my a 32GB one so happy only cost me $244 (In Australia)

Buy nexus 4 in Orlando(450$)

Hi, as you may notice I'm from Brazil and I have a problem,I want nexus 4 so bad and there are some issues importing them to here such as lost of package (Brazil steal), breaking of device, etc
So I was thinking if anyone can help me and contract me, here's my deal: my friend will be in Orlando around 25th February and I of someone could buy it for me and exchange for the money, of course I can afford 400USD for the 16gb version that's sold for 349 so you win almost 100 bucks for doing almost nothing, what can you say guys?
Edit: it can be used if it hasn't any sign of use like my previous nexus device

Also the Nexus 16GB is 349 + 13.99 shipping + tax which usually equals about 380-390 depending on where you live. So $10-20 is all said person would get. Including trip costs and time to deliver would basically negate all that.
Not to say I wouldn't do it for you for free as I don't care about the extra money, I am however not in Florida. As others have said, Jan 25th already passed unless you meant Feb 25th .

The 16 gb on ebay is going for around 415-420 with no accessories.
I live in Orlando and I am debating on selling my n4 that I just got yesterday.
Still waiting for all my accessories to be shipped (spigen ultra crystal screen protector =$13, dbrand black carbon skin = $14 and re earth hybrid fusion case = $16)

trading my htc one for nexus 4?

so i originally had the iphone 5 but i traded that for an htc one and i must admit am a phone junkie always wanting to switch things up and now i got an offer for my htc one plus 40 dollars. only thing im sad about is downgrading from 32 gigs to 16 but for some reason i really want to try the nexus 4. would you guys reccomend this? yes or no. i dont think you can go wrong with either phone honestly

well the thing is nobody on craigslist is selling one. should i ask for more money? if i honestly deserve more money than $40 plus the trade im sure hed understand and if not i can just keep my htc one. i just kind of like the hardware setup of the htc one as far no hardware keys etc

Is the HTC unlocked? Sell it on eBay and buy the nexus. But honestly, it's not worth it the nexus is somewhat of a downgrade. My bro has a one and the screen and speakers alone are a lot better. Plus, 16gb does suck I have 10 GB of music and I don't like to stream because T-Mobile doesn't have the best signal when I'm driving around town. And if you don't like sense put cm on the phone. The developer edition comes out soon so vanilla Roms should be bug free and updates will be on par with Nexus 4

Sell the one on eBay or clist or swappa. Then buy the nexus off of eBay or the playstore. I think a new nexus is about 350 or so. A HTC one used is about 450 to 500 I'm guessing. The point is that a bad deal on your side. The nexus has been out for about a year and the one for about a month. The nexus can be boght brand new at a cheaper rate then the one.

Oh see I don't know how much you can really sell for since its locked to a certain carrier. My brother got a really good deal when upgrading contract it essentially cost him $50 (paid $150 with a $100 mail in rebate) if I were you I would just keep the HTC. Is there something it lacks for you

Its not in stone. I've backed out of deals just say you did some research and the price difference is not worth the trade. You aren't obligated even if you make a verbal agreement to meet.

honestly i just wanted to try something different and the nexus looks pretty bad ass to me i just like the over all design. i am not all up to date on specs and features so im not going in very educated to this trade thats why i came here i like the htc and all but i really have always sort of had a thing for nexus phones. so just keep the htc is the vibe im getting? what phone WOULD be worth trading the htc one for? im always looking for something new...smh

Nexus 4 has a bad photo camera.
No full LTE support.
No extSD.
but has much better software cos it's vainilla/aosp Android with Google binaries that are supported on AOSP without issues.

The Nexus 4 hardware would be a downgrade. How about you flash your H1 to aosp instead? Then you would have the same software as the nexus.

Currently no phone is better in my opinion. This and the gs4 are essentially equal in hardware it depends on preference of amoled over LCD. However, I do think the features touchwiz offers like the hover gestures and stuff are better than things sense has

Does it really? My brother hasn't complained but I think he's gonna flash cm soon anyways. I had a s3 for about a month and it never lagged and that was just a dual core but I suppose there's a big difference between sense and touch wiz

Nexus 4 now $199

For those looking to upgrade their Nexus S, google dropped the price of the Nexus 4 to $199. That's one hell of a bargain. Especially if you're looking to upgrade at a low price. The phone is still stupid fast and at $199 there's not much reason not to pick it up.

Well I'm gonna hold out till the next Nexus. Its only a small amount of time before they release some sweet info on it.

I was tempted to upgrade and the price is crazy cheap, but since 90% of my NS usage is listening to music (Voodoo) I would regret it big time.
It would just be an impulse purchase. A new shiny toy to play with for a week or two.

would anyone be able to give me a link to where i would be able to buy a galaxy s4 for roundabout 480-$550, as i decided not to go with the nexus 5 since i feel it will have massive battery issues and i cannot find another phone that i would truly like.

I'd consider giving up my S4 for a Nexus 5. Nexus phones are really great.

i know and i love the nexus line to death but honestly it seems as if it's going to have massive battery issues with only 2300mAh and having to power a quad core snap 800 and 1080p screen.

In my opinion, I think 2300mAh battery for the Nexus 5 should be plenty and should last a whole day. Before you go assuming the battery life will be bad or whatnot, let me get my friends opinion. Three of my friends just got the Nexus 5 today so I'll ask them how it is.

As @~wolverine~ suggested, Swappa will be your best bet. They are endorsed by XDA and carry both carrier-based devices, as well as unlocked devices. Though, if your planning on rooting or using custom ROM's you may want to steer clear of the S4 until a breakthrough is made due to the restrictive bootloader. If your insist on the S4 try to find a Google Play Edition, else go with a Nexus 5 in my opinion. - Hope this helps!
