im actually having issues downloading facebook along with other apps on the store. i can see it on the appstore website but not in the store on the kindle.

For some reason I'm not getting CNN breaking notifications on my GS3. I've tried installing and uninstalling the app but that hasn't helped. Anybody else having issues yet?

Restarted phone, hadn't restarted since I got it and ESPN seems to be working now. Will have to wait for some breaking news to see if CNN is fixed

I had the same problem with XDA, until I rebooted my phone. Now they work.

After reboot my CNN notifications still don't work yet. Anybody with GS3 have working to CNN notifications or is it an issue with this build and app?

Were you able to get this working? I'm not getting an alerts from ESPN Scorecenter.
I've rebooted. Other apps seem to work fine. I did try Yahoo's sports app and didnt get alerts from it either. Same with MLB At Bat. Most of my other apps work fine, like BeWeather, etc.

Score center seems to work fine as does USA Today but not CNN. Have tried uninstalling and installing a bunch of times.

What sucks though is the ics version of the calendar had a better widget. Not sure why they got rid of the month view..

I think that widget was a Motorola customization. The new widget is just like the one on the Nexus 7. I assume Motorola did away with the customization. I liked the ICS widget better too.

Hello,
I'm running the stock rooted ROM and have yet to get Google Play Games on my phone. Have any of you received the update that has enabled it yet?
I was under the impression it was already on most phones, Google sneaked it in under everyone's noses as a service.
Check out some of the play store games and they should have a section that says things like leaderboards or achievements....
Unless I am missing something?

Don't think so. It seems like it's integrated with Google services. Play services will show up on games that have been updated with play services.

It's an API Service, not a specific game.
Google Settings > Play Games

I personally prefer Google launcher, the only problem I've had and that made me go back to TouchWiz is that when you put the phone on Ultra Power Saving Mode, it kept deleting my layout and only leaving a couple things in one screen
It's subjective. Betty/Wilma, peas/carrots, beer/wine. I use Google Launcher.

I've used the Google Now launcher since the day I got the phone. It's fast and smooth, and folders work as they should.
