Got my N7 yesterday and just got some of my music and movies on it. But im realy mad about that my movies are listed in the gallery. Same probleme i got in Play Music, where some movies are listed. Funniest fact about this is, that there is an error message showing up when the player start playing them... (for Movies im using MX Player - cause of the codecs)
I copied the Music into the Music folder and the Movies into the Movies folder - right why seems so!?
U got a solution for me? Pls note i wanna use Play Music to enjoy my Music... not a third part - if possible.

Hello i have a little problem, concidering that i have lots on mp3 files and movies (MP4) so when im going to my music tab in windows player and when im refreshing the library-player shows me all my music files and movie files at once. It kinda annoy me.So is there any way to seperate these files not to be shown at once so if i go to music it shows me only files which are mp3??
I've seen a fair bit about using third party media players etc to play FLAC music files. I've binned most of my MP3 files and re ripped my entire music collection to flac. This was fine up till about a month ago as i had a nice COWON MP3/flac player that i used when i was out and about, but that got stolen from my van so i'm thinking of using my Touch HD as a media player instead. Thing is i like the MP3 player feature built in to TF3d and am wondering if anyone has been sucsessful at getting it to play flac files?

Got a bit of a puzzle here.
When attempting to use Unprotected 256kps ACC (itunes plus) on my Jade via the HTC Media player it shows the album art and run time of the tracks but will not play them.
Have tried my own self encoded 192kps aac files and they work fine.
Anyone know whats going on ? because while i do have an ipod classic 80gb it would be usefull to be able to play my music (most of which is iTunes Plus) on the jade when i dont feel like carting the ipod around.

I'm using Isyncr for mac to put my itunes libary on the sd card but when I open the music about 10 artists work then the rest go under unknown artist and it shows song time as 00.00
I used this app on my old nexus one and it was fine??
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated thanks
try just copying and pasting to the sd card instead of using and intermediary application if it works fine doing it that way then its probably a problem with the program
if they are AAC they might not playback most devices ive owned will not play AAC, AAC seems to be a format mainly supported by apple
Nope no still no luck, i copied over and its still doing it. There deffo mp3 files.. i dont know why its doing it.

I have the same problem.
I'm really disappointed with the music player. It's basically a bag of s**t unless ALL your MP3s have the exact correct tags (album, artist, etc).
Most of my MP3s have "Unknown" or "Disk 1" as the album tag. So the music player puts all these into the same "folder".
Does anyone know how I can get the music player to navigate the SD Card correctly and just play a friggin folder??
I'm getting really frustrated with it!

After copying my music files (mp3) to my OP8Pro I can't seem to get them showing in the YT Music or Google Play Music app. Once I opened them from file manager they will show....
With over 1000 songs it's no use opening them one by one to get them showing within the music app. Does anyone have a clue how to get them showing all at once?
I did the same and on Google music they show up automatically and YouTube music it's under local files I think

Just get the best music player there has ever been on Android.
Poweramp, absolutely no equal. And of course it'll allow library editing amongst other features, definitely worth buying the pro version too, it's a great app..
