[ROM] [GB] FactorySense 1.1 [Update! 1/14/12]

FactoryROM is a new Android Developers group consisting of MyComputerDoctor, orkillakilla, and Grand Prix. Our mission is to bring you the finest, most cutting edge Android experience possible without sacrificing stability. This rom is a combination of Killasense and gingerbreaton. Overall we wanted to keep a stock sense look with many customizations to make this rom the smoothest, fastest, and best battery life rom Grand Prix or orkillakilla have put out to date (we are by no means claiming to be the fastest just really happy with our results). This is our second major release as a team, and you can expect a ton of fresh releases from us in the future. Please offer your thoughts on what you think of this new ecosystem as we continue to implement changes. So without further ado:

I'm getting a ghosting effect when I choose a different skin and the text in the notification bar is black and barely readable when I get notificatons. Just two things I've noticed in the two hours running but so far very fast and smooth.

Describe the ghosting effect? I have never noticed it. And the black text is being addressed tonight.

This ROM is a combination of Gingerbreaton and KillaSense out under the FactoryROM brand. We have talked about adding the 3.0 lockscreen in the future. We will keep you updated.

I'll upload a sepcific file to fix that, you're using a theme that has transparency and the framework does not support transparency on the default rom. I'm uploading a fix for the black text now you guys will NOT have to wipe data to update it, I'll upload a flashable zip for those who want transparent themes.

Like orka said, combination of our roms. Has some tweaks from his rom I did not know about that I really like and power control widgets. Has his and my heart in soul in it, you should enjoy it.

Video recording tends to hang up when you stop, changing camera resolution FC, soft keys are not reorient home key is back and back key is home thats all i can see so far smooth and great
UPDATE: Galaxy S option is missing where you set the gamma thing its on the the system but icon is missing, can't seem to get a GPS lock and I also notice im getting quite good signal bars of 3 to 4 now im worried does this show the real signal I usually have 3 to 1 bar signal at home

Vibranturk posted an unofficial port of this rom, This rom is Official from the developers and fully supported. If you are already on build 26 v2 by vibranturk i would suggest you to stay on it till this is updated to the next version as both of them are same and infact this has some issues listed by people a few posts back. I have personally not had any camera issues on vibranturks port.
I am sure the developers here will make the next build more stable and better.

If Turks is "unofficial". Does that mean he can no longer use AOKP?

This is the new thread and home for the Express for Thunderbolt. I am pleased to bring you the best ROM ever for our phones. This is a mashup of the HTC Flyer tablet pc's ROM and the Evo3D (Shooter) ROM. I am happy to say this ROM is lightning fast and has been tweaked and had enhancements done to the sound and display to bring you a brighter more vivid screen and enhanced sound over the stock. This ROM has all the goodies from the HTC Flyer, and all the functionality of our Thunderbolt's. It has tons of features which I will list below. Enjoy the ROM and please read the OP in entirety. 4.To assign weather to lock, do above method, except choose shortcut lockscreen from popup menu. Uncheck add weather box for no weather, or leave it checked to have weather on lockscreen.

Jester, someone at Rootzwiki is claiming that a build previously found here http://d-h.st/HJ8 with the same name as the one you posted actually has LTE. Is he full of it or is there another unicorn build floating around out there?

umm i dont have lte. Never said it did lol. Or else id still be on my thunderbolt and not spending all night fixing that.. This new build is almost the exact same. Just edited a few extra lines of build.prop and relabled so **** wouldnt get confusing. Its not going to work either way, because its reading the NV area for data instead of the RUIM aka SIM CARD. Liquids currently editing a manifest and breaking down the files to fix that issue, we got to have a fresh build. Other than that we may have data, we may not. But the way its looking shes talking to something or trying to.
The only other thing thats called this is found in the Bionic section, that has 4g lol

Just my opinion, but I think that if there was a ICS build with working data we'd all know it by now.
And on that note. Common man work up some PFM and let's get some working data!

I am loving this rom I had to fire up the Bolt just so I could play around with it. ICS is supposed to be released by the end of the month for this phone. Will this help you get this roms data working?

Someone on rootz is claiming data is working on a build by using the lte app to switch the network mode to any and enabling data and international roaming.

Yeah pretty sure that guy was full of crap. But I know that GPS and Wi-Fi work better on this build.

and its really smooth....

I'm down for some sense ics ...probably beat the hell out of battery life though lol . Feeling like us tbolt owners are nothing but black sheep verizon and htc don't really care about anymore
btw, jester, I'm always impressed when I see a new post. very much appreciated!

It will be interesting to see how well the battery life is once data is working. I get almost two days battery life on wi-fi without mobile data lol.

I think the thunderbolt I will receive improved battery life with the new update so I'm just being optimistic about it
