Im back on stocm ROM. It shows a 16 MB update is available. I'm currently on BL6. So if I upgrade will it change to BL7? I've read that OTA updates don't affect BL. Just want to confirm

what version of android are you on ? the update might make it bl7
It could, but I don't think there is any Indian ROM featuring bl7. Try cm10 instead

You will just have the flash it from .605. That's all you have to worry about =P

Hi people ive downloaded the droidx gov zip so i cud use smrtassv2 it flashes thru fine but then reboots or turns itself off wen the defy has fully booted up??? Has someone got a working zip for the defy and not the defy plus i would love to have smartassv2

You must do by your self taking the sbf you use depacking it, deleting the system(cg39), rocking it back again and you are good too go. Use app MotoAndroidDepacker http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11588065 .

You can just flash it in recovery. I think Avi has one in his thread. If you can't find it, I have one I can upload, but I'll have to do it when I get home to my computer.
