So recently I came across the universal build.prop tweaks http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1227269 you can add to increase camera quality for images and videos. I was interested in the Panorama settings:
ro.media.panorama.defres=3264x1840
ro.media.panorama.frameres=1280x720
However, once i added the above lines to the build.prop (used pimpmyrom to add them) my panoramas are still the same old resolution (1992x456).
So my question do these tweaks work for the nexus 4? And has anyone else used them successfully to increase resolution of panorama shots?

Has anyone tried any performance enhancing build.prop tweaks to the ouya? what about android tweaker 2(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bam.android.androidtweaker.two)? It would be cool if we could use build.prop tweaks to enhance the speed and performance of the ouya.
Also, if build.prop tweaks are safe to apply, are there any build.prop tweaks out there specific to enhancing performance of emulation/gaming?

I don't think build prop edits will give you any performance enhancements. I'd just leave it alone.

there I have a question that could probably interest many people.
as you know, it is possible to improve all android smartphone via the file build.prop.
but the concern is that I did find the best hand null modification or addition has done in the build.prop file for lg g2.
would it be possible to have all the best online edit or add to our dear smartphone? a big thank you in advance.

Each build.prop is different per device. For example network tweaks are either gsm enhancements or CDMA enhancements. There's carrier-specific enhancements that define what version of LGs systemUI to run, and there's individual model numbers that tell the hardware OS what phone you're running (ie: D800 or LS980). Making one super build.prop for all G2s is impossible. You can probably make a good one with good tweaks for your specific variant, though.

I agree with you. I have a D802 and when I say setting build.prop, I speak for everything that is "simple" kind of improvement to the screen. for the camera, some network setting etc ... I'll post is that I edit:

Most of them are placebo, the only ones i use are these:

But even tho i dont know if they work properly...
I think the levels of the camera there is a slight improvement ... well then for the rest I do not know, but it does not hurt so ...
I've been searching around about tweaks on sysctl around but it does not seems to fit zenfone, tweaking sysctl may help in battery saving but i cant seems to find a better one, everything i tried seems to make my battery even worse, can someone that knowledge about this help me with it? sysctl includes VM settings, CPU, io schedule etc..

Yup! I had to reflash the ROM and get my phone working! Well in that process you got to clear data too cause it's in magisk
installed on AICP 12.1. Stuck on ZUK logo. I had to make a clean flash again. Tried for few more times. Same result. Tried in AEX 4.6 Unofficial, phone booted, and I was like.. yeahh!! finally! But as I typed KITANA in terminal, it wasn't recognized. Flashed it few more times but again same result. The selinux mode was in permissive. Don't know what is the reason.

I told you not to try it ! But you did it and there might be some problem in the module itself, the flashable zip of kitana works properly

i had tried that a week before i first saw this thread. i was just sharing what happened to me.

This clearly bricks devices. @adil786ali63 its advisable that before posting you do the testing. There are novice users who will fall prey to these tweaks and mods without considering the risk and recovery options. Why this thread is still open?

i have already mentioned the ones who are WILLING to test can try it... don't blame me for this... i just shared it for a good cause only... the ones who got their devices in trouble willingly tried it... so pls don't blame me

Not blaming you bro. But the original post does not clearly mentions that you have tried and whether it worked or not. Also, this is a work of someone else. He might be upset to know later that his mod was on bricking spree with out his knowledge. The point is...test and share...it will help other users too..:highfive:
