No sense in buying it if there's no guarantee it works.
All I can say is my purchased one (transferred from GN) did work when I last tried it. Really don't know what the issue is here.

Nexus 7 version works. Its people like you who download pirated version that will ruin it for everyone else. The people who make games have families to feed too and this is how they make a living.
Working great on my PURCHASED copy.

I do believe both Dead Space and Mass Effect have been updated for Nexus 7 compatibility.
Is this a lesson learned OP? Buy the damn game you cheap ass. And dont post here complaining about you're warez games not working. Idiot

Just my two cents considering warez related threats. If you are the first to respond just make it clear to everybody that this is about pirated stuff and ignore.
Thanks i checked out GP and it seems that DS is now available for my device

really? this game is too easy. just dodge when he charges. in first place he charges once, then hit him, second place he will charge twice before getting "stunned" then hit him, last place he charges three times in a row before getting stunned hit him then. fairly simple. havent tried it above normal difficulty though.

I think specification wise and updating wise nexus but two caveats
1-no rear camera
2-no external sd card slot(so important for some)
If you could endure that so nexus not endure so gtab2
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Yeah external is big. I know you can buy a adapter and use a USB storage for the nexus but seems like a hassle. Also development seems good over here so I may just buy the galaxy

I was thinking of the Nexus for the screen and processor or Tab 2 for the SD card slot and the Student Edition at Best Buy. Figured I'm not going to be using it much in direct sunlight and I'll almost definitely need expandable storage so went with the Galaxy. First Samsung device and I'm really happy with it. A lot of development options, had it rooted in 20 minutes, etc. The keyboard that came with the Student Edition is pretty handy if I'm going to be typing notes for school. I'm a fan.
I just saw the app to sd problem but is it worth the wait. Unless i missed the fix
Using xda app-developers app
Just don't flash cm9/10 or the keyboard wont wont work. But as for 7 or gt2 it really depends on what your using it for. Do you need a lot of storage on the device?
Sent from my DROID X2 using xda premium
Movies ROMs and gaming.the first two I can take care of with gt,but with such limited storage of a 8gb (5gb) tablet it hard not to fill up quick on other apps and games like Max Payne etc

Just reserved my gt2 after owning an N7 and the screen cracking into a million pieces. After watching some video comparisons on speed I don't think there's much in it plus dev here on xda is way ahead at the mo.
Even gaming there's very few apps/games that will utilize the quad core CPU. Its really a close race between them that basically comes down to the options you get. Better processor more ram better screen vs external storage front and rear cameras and better build quality.
Sent from my GT-P3113 using xda premium
I just switched from an Asus Transformer Prime (TF201), a member of the same pedigree as the Nexus 7, Infinity, etc. It is a piece of junk. GPS flat doesn't work (it did in an earlier firmware version), WiFi stinks, and the glass cracks if you look at it the wrong way (mine cracked from the keyboard dock...too bad since the dock was the best feature). The digitizer and screen work, but the glass has a spider web on it. Plus, Asus support is abysmal. They used to be a fantastic company, but something changed and they are AWFUL now. Stay away.
I would only consider a Nexus 7 because Google supports it.
Anyway, I jumped all over the BestBuy GT2 7.0 deal. It seemed to be the best featured device, the knowledgeable sales guy (yes, my BestBuy had one) recommended this one or the Acer, and with the special deal there, I chose the GT2 7 for $250. I am not regretting it so far. From what I have seen in this forum, the videos I saw on Youtube, and other Google search results, I think this is a deal everyone should jump all over.
For the record...I also own an Asus Netbook (1001P), and have built PCs with Asus motherboards. I jumped on the TF201 because of ASUS' reputation of making good hardware. That was my biggest mistake, and perhaps others' as well.
I was gonna buy the nexus but I really didn't want to have them ship me one as I wanted it now lol. Found the bestbuy bundle with keyboard and usb thing and WOW I love it and it's really amazing. Even just stock with root, it's a great tablet.

I want to find out who did this, among the things stolen was a rooted Nexus 7 with Lookout. Any suggestions of how to find my stuff would be greatly appreciated.
I'm guessing you didn't have an antitheft app? You could try lookout plan b; installing it remotely. But that's assuming the thief hasn't tampered with the device.

Yeah...hate to say...but any thief with half a brain that steals a phone or tab would shut it off immediately, knowing they have GPS and might be a chance they're tracked.
Guess not all thieves are smart tho.

Lookout has tracking features but it might be a premium feature. I really don't know.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
I heard of a story of a thief in Salt Lake that stole someone's iPad. Suddenly, pictures started showing up in the original owner's iCloud because the perp had been taking pictures of himself with the iPad. A local police officer recognized the perp and they arrested him. In other words, not all criminals are smart. Do you have anything setup to automatically upload pictures taken with the tablet to any cloud service?
You can still install plan b to it. Of your account is still linked to it.

I don't think Its a premium feature, op go into the lookout website and try your luck, you may just get lucky but speed is of the essence. Good luck

Actually it's not a premium feature, and I think it works with GPS off too (I think WiFi does the trick here). Login to your account in your PC browser (hope they haven't taken that too!) and try to locate it. Hopefully the thief (or thieves) is (or are) dumber than we are thinking he (or she or they) is (or are).
Best of luck.

Also the tablet has to remain on. Then Lookout turns on the GPS automatically.
