A couple issues.
Looks pretty cool.
A couple of notes:
*I've actually got a pretty similar project called Tainted Vanilla http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6414649
*Contrary to what the author of the rom states, it is *not* stripped of sense any more than my rom is. There are pieces of sense that can't be removed and they are in this rom too. (examples included in this rom include HTCAlbum, HTCCamera, HTCDialer, HTCFacebook, HTCTwitter, HTC's Browser, etc.)
*This rom includes a launcher from the market (Helix launcher) which is great & free, but not open source. Including it in this rom is a bad idea as it's infringing on copyright.

the update script is wrong. That wrror means he didnt change heroc to desirec in the metainf folder.

i did chance it, because i flashed it to mine and it worked and my girlsphone too, but ill double check it

When I went to download again the file had a different name and was a little bigger... I am flashing the new download...
edit: Same name but just entered differently..
addition: flashed now booting up....

Found it:
settings/ASS/GeneralUI/LCD Density.
gives the option to change it to 240 and reboot. Everything looks "normal" now

Is there a minimum CWM recovery version you must have to flash this ROM?
Also, has anyone got Touchwiz launcher working with slim ics?

i think 5.5.0.4

It doesn't require the version as it will be replaced when you select to flash the ROM! have fun on this ROM

if normal is big fat fonts , i am a 182DPI guy, looks better IMO. But thats the beauty of customization, you change it to whatever you want.

I kept getting status 7 and errors installing this ROM. Work-around is installing THS build 16 first then your good to go

Go to the link in OP and then scroll down till you see the slim ics base and the captivate essentials, flash base 1st followed by the essentials pack for captivate.

[ROM] SGA Two End (Chinese Iphone-Like ROM) 22-03-2012

This isn't my ROM, I only put it here for sharing purpose. The original thread of this ROM can be found in http://www.angeeks.com/thread-2032875-1-1.html and this ROM has been mentioned in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528393 by xarive. Kudos for him, and this ROM is an updated version [latest release was in March 22nd]
This ROM is based on CyanogenMod-7.2.0, Android 2.3.7 and Basehand S5830DXKPB and the ROM's owner has removed GApps
How to install:
Do a full wipe (cache, format data and dalvik) and install from CWM 5 Recovery Mode
Known Bugs:
1. GPS doesn't work, but can be fixed by a method from lagloose that can be find in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465402
2. Built in browser always experiencing force close.
3. wifi doesn't work, fix can be found in http://www.angeeks.com/thread-2037146-1-1.html or you can find in the link at the bottom, thanks to hydraprime to mention it

It's alright. I didn't noticed the update because I don't use the ROM anymore. This iPhone ROM is buggy with a lots Chinese words if you select English as your language. That's why I don't like it Anyway, the UI are perfectly modded and if you don't mind there's some chinese words out there, you might try out this.

actually, I found that this version is much more stable than the 18-02-2012 version that put in your post. first time I install the one from your post, I found that foursquare always experiencing fc. so when I flash this version, the first app that I tried is foursquare, and it works. thanks xarive, you are the man! kudos for your post

I will continue to trust the devellopeur of xda.
they provide us with unrestricted ROM of European languages.

Hey guys, Ive been working hard on this slim rom (getting so many random errors by removing simple apps).
But I finally found a very good combination and manged to slim down paranoid android by olddroid so credits to him for compiling.
And yes before people ask there is a performance improvement.
Changes:
Slimmed Trebuchet
Replace browser with Holo Web Browser, much much faster/ less RAM consumption
Deleted useless wallpapers
Replaced LatinIME with a slimmed down keyboard, WP7
Downloads:

Wp7 keyboard doesn't have the "<" key, you should change it

RAM usage
Please post screenshots of RAM usage and other relevant features after slimming down.Also please let us know how the slimmed ROM behaves after installing 10-15 basic apps like what's app, MX player, Quick pic, google services and apps etc.

The WP7 keyboard kept having FCs so ROM became unusable. I did a full wipe, yes full, everything.
Also the widgets were too small, They were centered left

U do know that the WP7 keyboard uses 28MB RAM ?
It seems small in apk size but it uses 28MB of RAM and resources

Sorry for the keyboard incident, heres a trimmed latinIME, I dont want to upload another 85mb so please replace this with the current one.
Also the WP7 was a last minute thing so that was my mistake sorry.

I just found this ICS rom, and it seems as good as all others found here.
So far, it suffer from the same wifi battery problem. With wifi on, the battery last 7h 55m.
It has several languages installed, and I am using portuguese.

strange, must be a typo on my side. I don't use Karma right now, so I can't check anymore. Mainreason for not usig is I didn't like the icon-set. I had also a feeling that reconnecting is a bit slower than my aurora version.

Is this ROM ok for daily use?

1. I consider it stable for daily use. No reboots, no FC, everything is working (at my phone at least): wifi, mail, gps, etc.
2. Dunno how to find out.

Even with the translator is difficult to me to understand Turkish and information about this ROM is too low!
Is it possible without install the ROM know which one is the newest?
EDIT: The files inside the .zip in the ICS.zip (this one) are newest so i presume that this one is a new version! But i do not know if it is stab!le or not

it is only aurora with next launcher

It's aurora version 4 with a lot modification themes.
