Bought my Nexus 7 tablet and just don't use it as much as I thought I would being I have a Android phone also so I'm thinking I will return it to stock and get a laptop. Problem is I tried using CWM and the factory reset to erase it but neither do anything. I do have it rooted and unlocked.
Grab mskip or wugs toolkit and just follw the instructions to flash a stock image and lock the bootloader

Yup. That's what I was going to say. Nice advice!
Ok from the beginning..
I was running TEAM EOS 4.1.2
Flashed zip for stock rooted 4.2
Decided to go back to eos and all was well.
Then decided to flash lean kernel and now my nexus 7 just boot loops and I can't seem to get into recovery no matter what I try.
Please help

Well, I'll buy the Nexus 4 weeks coming but I still appear doubts about what I'll do with it hehe! It's better have the stock version of android with Franco Kernel, or Installing the CM 10.1 with Franco Kernel or have the defaut kernel with the CM 10.1. I heard that with the Franco Kernel version of the stock android can not be updated. Is it true? Grateful. Hug
Whatever you like. It's your choice. You have to test it out on your own and see.
I don't really understand your last question.

No. If you're not on stock recovery then you would not be able to get the updates. Kernels do not do such a thing like you said. If you have a stock recovery and a custom kernel is installed you'll be able to get updates as long as the recovery is stock.

You can't apply an update to the stock ROM if anything is altered, including using a custom kernel. But you can easily just re-flash the stock kernel, apply the update and then flash your custom kernel again.

Download the factory image from Google and flash in fastboot

I was on stock 4.4 rooted with Franco Kernel. I tried using Wugfresh to return back to stock, after trying I just get Boot Failed when I boot or try recovery. I'm not the best with Android so any help would be great. I have tried downloading stock 4.4 Rom from Google and flashing via Wugfresh but still the same. I'm worried I can't use again now.
