Hi,
Sorry for my english... Well. I had my A200 rooted (french tablet, ICS stock with bootloader 0.03.06-ICS), with CWM recovery and CM9 installed.
Everything seemed like to be ok. I wanted to flash a CM10 rom, so i went to recovery, did a full wipe... wait. Can't wipe data. Actually, recovery fails to mount data. Some fail and some crash : I tried CWM, Thor and TWRP recovery...
So, i've access to fastboot, i can flash recoveries but i can't wipe data from the computer too : I get Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x19000008) in fastboot. Same with manual factory reset.
I'm stuck in bootloader since three days. I don't know what to do. I'm not a power user but I did tweak some Android devices... it's the first time i get error in fastboot. I guess the tablet isn't totally bricked.
I can wipe dalvik cache, battery stats, flex. It fails with data and cache.
Might you help me to flash a ROM or something ? I'll give you all information you would need.
Thank you for your response...

Guys, I desperately need help. I followed this guide to install CM7.1 nightly into my Defy and at the end I got the CM7 logo loop. Based on the guide, I took out the battery and put it back and now it's stuck at the small "Google" logo. I took out the battery again and went to the system recovery to wipe cache/factory reset. I got bunch of "mount" cache errors (command, log). I then went to the custom recovery and did the wipe cache again, this time beside "mount" cache error, there were some "open" cache errors. I did the wipe one more time and all of these errors gone. Booted it up again, and it still stuck at the "Google" screen so I went into the custom recovery trying to wipe dalvik cache as the guide said. I selected that option but nothing happened. No question asked to confirm the wipe and all it did was a short blink screen and the screen stayed the same.
Any helps would be highly appreciated !!!
That sounds a bit tricky to me, but first things first.
The first boot after installing CM7 can take a while (some minutes) since all the dalvik cache and other things has to be built. Taking out the battery during that is somewhat risky I think. After the first boot, the system starts pretty fast.
The best guess for you (at least that is what I would try) is:
go to recovery, clear dalvik cache and cache. If you have not installed CM7 before, i would also recommend to clear data as well (ok you lose you data but I hope that you were not doing it without a backup).
Then I would reflash cm7 and try again.
since you had the cm7 boot scree, I believe you have no kernel problem...
by the way, do you know what version your initial rom was?
I think it`s better to flash it from scratch:
1) Flash your previous rom with RSD
2) Root + cwm recovery
3) Cyan
(and if I were you - I would do wipe from stock recovery after 1st step and wipe from custom recovery after 3 step)
Yes, as Iddqd2 suggested just flash stock froyo using RSD Lite and then go all over for CM7 method of installation.
I flashed the latest 4.2.2 factory image from google. but it wont boot. stuck at ''X'' boot animation. I can access bootloader. I have tried several times but no luck. it still stucks at boot logo. then i flashed team win recovery and tried to install a custom rom(xenon hd stable 6.0) by pushing rom files by adb. But unfortunately recovery cant factory reset or wipe the cache. it fails. and even it fails to flash the custom rom zip file. Now i have fallen in a completely stupid situation. Please somebody help. Before flashing i was in xylon rom with twrp recovery. Before that i had cwm recovery. But I thought flashing factory image will completely wipe everything. But I cant figure out why it is happening. Please help.
I figured out something ! I have flashed CWM 6.0.23 recovery now. and it says it cant mount anything. I think there is the problem. What can i DO ppl?
Flash the stock recovery and clear cache.
Solved
Solved !!
At first I tried all types of ''mounting sd card'' process in adb. none worked.
Finally
in CWM recovery > Mounts and storage > format /data and /data/media (/sdcard) [ not to be confused with the full ''format /sdcard'' option ]
and it worked. Thanks BTW
so I tried to install a custom "rom negalite-s4-r41" I installed it all fine, when I was at boot screen it keeps repeating boot screen. I tried to wipe data/cache. It didn't do anything. it says my sd card is not mounted and when I try to mount it, it just says error. I can boot into download and I plan to try to install a stock non rooted everything with odin. I can boot into system recovery, but the ittle droid falls over with the red exclamation point. I can choose the follow options "Reboot system, Apply update from ADB, apply update from external storage, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, apply update from cache" I have tried reboot system just repeats reboot like I said, I have no clue what ADB is, apply update from external storage says it fails to mount sd, I have wiped data/factory reset, I did do the cache partition, my update from cache is all empty. Please help, I'm sitting in panera bread off their wifi because i have no internet at my house, this really sucks.
You are soft bricked. Odin to a stock ROM. Then re root.

I had a similar situation. I was able to Odin crawrj's Stock/Rooted/Deodexed/Stock Recovery ROM. Factory reset from stock recovery after you Odin the ROM.
Hi,
I was using Slimkat 4.2 with TWRP recovery. Wanted to update to the latest stable build. Did so. Now I'm stuck in a bootloop.
1) I restarted in bootloader, went to advanced wipe and wiped system, dalivik cache and cache.
2) Then I flashed the file (Slim-grouper-4.4.4.build.7.0-OFFICIAL). Sha1 check out. My device is a nexus 7 2012 (non 3g).
3) on top of that, I flashed the latest gapps normal.
Bootlooped.
1) I'm able to enter into bootloader.
2) I do not have a backup of my previous instal
3) I am unable to mount usb through the twrp mount interface.
Could somebody help me here? I seem to be making a lot of mistakes with this after successfully flashing my phones for years (just recently I got a "enter password to decrypt device" on the same nexus 7 that I got through by formating through twrp.
Should I try wiping and flashing the rom again, without the gapps? (By wiping system, dalivik cach and cache)?
Are there other methods I could use?
Help would be greatly appreciated!
Please note that I can easily get into fastboot mode. When I'm at fastbook, should I just try to return to stock? I'm not exactly sure how that would work given that I have a custom recovery and rom installed.
Should I try to use sideload adb to instal the rom/original rom for the device again?
Hi,
I have G935F, installed TWRP 3.0.0.0 and rooted, WITHOUT wiping. System boots correctly, but I cannot do factory reset or wipe with TWRP, because I got some messages like "Cannot mount Data" and "Failed crypto loader". I understand that it has to do with encryption. Can someone please enlight me, and give me tips about the issue?
Thank you

You have to download dm-verity and force encryption disabler from here , put it to SD card, reboot into TWRP, FORMAT DATA (not wipe) and flash that file (dm-verity and force encryption disabler). All your data will be erased.
No way to unencrypt without loosing you data for the moment(
"All your data will be erased" means that after boot I'll find a clean system installation (as factory reset)?
I hope not to be posing stupid questions, I'm completely new to this world
Thank you very much
Yes just as a factory reset

No, you cannot perform a backup, because your data is encrypted by default and the only way to disable it is to format your data.
I have a unique problem. I have a HTC Desire 612 from Verizon and I decided to revive it to playe PoGo. But it was stuck in a boot loop and I couldn't get any custom ROM.
Finally a gentle soul here gave me the stock rom and I flashed it vide TWRP and played PoGo for weeks. Then yesterday the phone bro led and when it came up it was stuck in a boot loop.
So I decided to flash the stock ROM again. But before that I tried to factory reset. I could go to TWRP, select wipe data, enter yes and the wiping was successful, then clear dalvic and cache and system beforehand finally I flashed the stock ROM.
Surprise surprise is NOTHING happens. The phone boots without the apps telling me they are installing. Then I get back the exact same data in my phone including my selected wallpaper and apps. Before I can do anything the phone restarts.
Point is wiping and restoring the stock ROM does NOTHING to the phone yet the processes are successful. Can somebody help?
