TVCatchup from Play Store - Galaxy Tab 7.7 General

Has anyone from the UK managed to get the TVCatchup application from the Play store working on the ICS P6800?
I have it working on my ICS Note but on my 7.7 the application starts but no TV channels appear.

It works fine for me

Do you have a uk sourced P6800? Mine is from Hong-Kong and that might explain the difference.

Mine is from Thailand. I don't think it will make any difference?? Have you tried a fresh install? Mine had problems at first going from the beta version to the market version, but a fresh install sorted it out

Just tried a fresh install but still not working. I also tried clearing data and cache but no joy. Thanks anyway

Anyone have the APK

My 6810 works perfectly.
Impressive app too!

My 7.7 uses:
Android 4.04
Baseband: P6800XXLPW
Kernal: P6800XXLQ1
I wonder if I need to flash a different ICS to get TVCatchup to work, any ideas?

Can anyone who has got the TVCatchup application from the Play Store working on the P6800 please post details of their firmware?
Thanks

SUCCESS
I changed the router and that fixed the fault. It is strange that the original router worked with my laptop and Note but not the 7.7.

Yeah, definitely working here for me too. (YouTube v2.1.6 on self-compiled CM6.1 rom.)
The youtube apk I'm using is attached, if that's what you were looking for. If you wanted the older version I'll look to see if I have it in older gapp zips

Hey I don't know if I ever thanked you or not, but I use the 4g metamorph you posted, it's cool, so thanks
Honestly I believe the mobile youtube site works better than the actual app.

Works fine for me. It updated itself via the Market Place.
Any difference from the last update?
I was having major issues with my YouTube with playing videos and getting just a black screen but the recent update from the marker corrected that issue its flawless now.

Flash Player 10.2 Now Available

You can download it here:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.adobe.flashplayer
Enjoy!
10.1.106.16
its not. its 10.2.156.12. try uninstalling then reinstalling.
works flawlessly. smoother than the previous version.
good job adobe/google
before i used to get really choppy playback on www.traileraddicts.com
all smooth now. im one happy droider
Currently it displays 10.1 in the market from the tablet but if you click install, another window comes up and shows 10.2 and it works!
Is anyone else who installed it having problems getting it to work?
I installed it from the market, but nothing happens in the browser (Both dolphin and stock).
I opened the apps list and it's not even running. There's no way to open it up and start it. Rebooting didn't help.
What am I doing wrong?
10.2.156.12 -- that shows up after the install.
just installed, market info is outdated, works fine though!
Sweeet.
Tested against the 'top flash sites' of 2011, all are working great!
delete please~

smooth playback and scrolling
Ok. Got it to work after clearing my browser cache.
Strange.
Anyways, I just watched a couple of trailers on traileraddicts. So much better than the leaked version, but I can't wait for 720p playback!
Installed by using push from market.android.com
Works really well from several discovery.com shows as well as full screen without jerking. So far so good.
Works good. Would be nice to have full resolution video from these sites instead of mobile resolution.

Got it. Didn't remove everything from the leaked flash player, left the lib file. Installed fine once I removed that
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
If you have the leaked version you must uninstall first. Or you'll get install error. Just a heads up.
What is the best way to uninstall when it doesn't show in the market?

Strange issue with MX Video Player...

I am currently using the basic version which is simply called Mx Video Player...
Recently a ''Pro'' version was released and I was prompted to install it.
However when trying to do so it fails to install.
Even when manually downloading the apk from the internet and transfering it, it fails to install. I tried 3 different versions, same problem.
My questions is WHY does the standard version install & work fine yet the pro version does not?
Anyone else had this issue or a similar issue?
I have no problem installing and using the purchased pro versions on my two android phones, including the Galaxy Note.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
This is strange... Even when trying to pay for the pro version I had problems.
Could you give me a link of where you purchased your pro edition of MX video player from?
Lastly, what's the actual difference between the free and pro version? Thanks.
Maybe u should delete free version and try...

Lol, dunno why I didn't try this before! As you mentioned it worked fine once I uninstalled the free version...
However I can see no difference whatsoever between the basic and the pro version, even the menu appears to be the same.
Perhaps the free version has ads and the paid version is ad free?
Thanks for the suggestion.

Hulu Plus is Working

Today's update must have added support. It didn't work previously on my N8000 so I'm guessing it didn't work on any Note. Apologies if this isn't news.
any news is better than no news...
but glad to hear its supported...thinking about getting hulu plus but the ads sucks

I installed this while unrooted and it worked. I then rooted and it still worked.
What's weird is that I can't use it on the same tablet running CM10.

It appears to work but actually streaming video does not. I have no ad blocking software installed and it stops after the ads in the begining.

I forgot where I got this from, somewhere on XDA, This is an older modded version that works for me
This is pulled from a backup with rom toolbox
https://www.dropbox.com/s/rolau5j8by3bfaa/com.hulu.plus.apk
and this one I found on my computer, I am pretty sure that it it what I loaded onto my note a while ago, but can't remember
https://www.dropbox.com/s/mjve19cscw50tyq/Mod2com.hulu.plus-2.apk
So one of those should do the trick for you, and also, when all else fails, ask jeeves...

Believe the only way is through the browser by a hack flash player until Hulu update it for compatibility on our device.

Curious, I tried both of these, but they won't install. I get the screen to install, but nothing happens when I hit the "Install" button. The "Cancel" button works fine. BTW, I do have the "Unknown Sources" checked... I am not rooted, but that shouldn't matter? I'm wondering why I can't install an APK???

That is pretty odd, but not being rooted, you shouldn't have any issues with the unmodded hulu app in the first place. It is still weird that it doesn't want to install though, have you tried restarting your device?

The stock Hulu app plays ads just fine, but it won't play the actual video. I've tried everything I could think of, including re-starting numerous times.
Stock version was updated tonight and now works. I too was just able to view the ads only, but now everything works! Yay!!

I can also confirm that the Stock version is now working. I can watch TV shows instead of just ADs. Previously mine only played ads.
Sweet! Thanks for the heads up!

Ah crap, I reckon it'll be updated soon as it's a popular one especially for Banking Apps etc. There was another one, but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it nor can I find the information about it either.
