FreeX10 Apps Safe To Remove

Is there a list of stock APKs that are safe to remove the the FreeX10 Beta3? If not we should compose one here?

Is there any good reason to remove apps from the FreeX10 rom? In my opinion, it's not blooted.

Well just looking at the app drawer I see things like News/Weather, Facebook/Twitter, Calculator, Live Wallpaper, KickBack, etc.

File Manager (I use root explorer)
News & Weather app
Twitter (I use twicca)
Facebook (If you are not using it)

[r800x]Removable System Apps

I am creating this thread for a list of which apps you can remove from the r800x's system. This thread is meant SPECIFICALLY for r800x which is why I am not posting a reply in the existing thread located here!
THESE APPS DO NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED, I AM JUST LISTING WHICH ONES CAN BE REMOVED WITHOUT MESSING UP THE PHONE!!! (meaning FC's, etc.)
I recommend that you move these apps to your SD card instead of deleted them or renaming their extensions!
Stand-alone apps (Apps that do not require other apps to function properly):
AdobeFlashPlayer.apk - Adobe flash 10.3 (you may get it in the market)
Bluetooth.apk - Bluetooth app (REQUIRED FOR BLUETOOTH TO FUNCTION)
Browser.apk - Stock browser app (alternative browsers are available in the market)
BruceLee.apk - Bruce Lee game
Calculator.apk - Stock calculator app (alternative calculators are available in the market)
com.amazon.kindle.apk - Kindle reading app (you may get it in the market)
com.fusionone.android.sync.sonyericssonr800xbaclient.apk - Backup assistant app
com.skype.android.verizon.apk - Skype app (you may get it in the market)
comsony.playstation.ncua94900_1.apk - Crash bandicoot game
com.vznavigator.r800x.apk - Verizon navigator app (you may get it in the market)
com.vzw.hss.myverizon.apk - My verizon app (you may get it in the market) (CAUTION - REMOVING THIS APP WILL CAUSE IT TO REPEATLY FORCE CLOSE UNTIL YOU REBOOT THE PHONE)
com.vzw.vvm.androidclient.apk - Visual Voicemail app (you may get it in the market)
DigitalClockWidget.apk - Digital Clock Widget
Email.apk - Email app
GenieWidget.apk - News and weather app
Gmail.apk - Gmail app (you may get it in the market)
GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk - Google Search Widget (you may get it in the market)
Launcher2.apk - Stock home launcher. (IMPORTANT - REMOVING THIS APP WILL CAUSE THE WHOLE PHONE TO BE UNABLE TO BOOT UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE LAUNCHER APP) (alternative launchers are available in the market)
LiveWallpapers.apk - The live wallpapers Galaxy, Grass, Nexus, Polar clock, and Water
Madden.apk - Madden NFL 11 game
Maps.apk - Google Maps (you may get it in the market)
Mms - Stock messaging app (IF THIS IS NOT INSTALLED, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEND OR RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES)
officesuite.apk - Office Suite app (you may get it in the market)
Protips.apk - Protips widget (the android with the chat bubble telling you how to use the launcher) (on a side note, it should be called tips, I see nothing "pro" about it XD)
PsclassicWallpaper.apk - Classic Ps live wallpaper
PsoriginalWallpaper.apk - original PS live wallpaper
SemcGallery3D.apk - Stock 3D gallery (alternative Galleries are on the market, I recommend QuickPic)
SetupWizard.apk - The setup app that runs on the first boot of android or after a factory reset
Soundrecorder.apk - Sound recorder app (Alternative sound recorders are available in the market)
starbattalion.apk - Star Battalion game
Talk.apk - Gmail chat app
Tetris.apk - Tetris game (Alternative Tetris games are available in the market)
VoiceDialer.apk - Voice dialer app
VoiceSearch.apk - Voice search app (you may get it in the market)
VpnServices.apk - virtual private network services app (requried for creating Vpn connections)
VZWSetupWizard.apk - Verizon's setup wizard that runs after the default setup wizard. Verizon's setup wizard lets you set up apps like the backup assistant app.
Youtube.apk - Youtube app (you may get it in the market)
Apps that require other apps to function properly:
Calendar.apk - Google Calendar (requires Calendarprovider.apk and GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk to function properly)
CalendarProvider - Part of Google Calendar (requires Calendar.apk and GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk to function properly)
DownloadProviderUi - Downloads app (shows only the stock browser's downloads, worthless if you have an alternative browser)
com.sonyericsson.androidapp.storefront.apk - The game app that is launched from the Xperia Play app. (Requires semcsuite.apk to function properly)
LatinIME.apk - Stock keyboard app (requires UserDictonaryProvider.apk to run properly) (Alternative keyboard apps are available in the market)
Street.apk - Street viewer app (launches from google maps, unusable without google maps)
UserDictonaryProvider.apk - The dictionary that is used by the stock keyboard app, not required by alternative keyboard apps (Required by latinIME.apk)
Unknown-use apps (they can still be removed without harmful effects):

After removing these apps, I HIGHLY recommend you install "Sd Maid" from the market to remove all data related to these apps!!!
After all the apps and data are removed, delete all the .dex files taht are located in /data/dalvik-cache, and then reboot your phone!
The reason for deleting these files is that they are files that are re-created by the system on boot for any apps you have installed, whether they are in the system or installed from the market. That means when you reboot after deleting these files, your phone will reboot slower then usual because it is created the dalvik cache from your existing apps. It will only do this once, so your phone will not reboot slow every time.

Great list, I cleared pretty much everything able, applied dalvik mod and im up to 342mb free storage. Thanks for this.

Dont Delete "preinstalledservice.apk"
This app is needed for Crash Bandicoot to still run and download game data. I tried a lot of different variables to find that without the preinstalledservice.apk None of the Playstation certified games would make it past "updating" screen.

I deleted vznavigator and now my phone won't boot up at all...

That shouldn't happen. It was something else, I am certain!
Are you sure you just didn't remove launcher2 without having an alternative launcher first?

I have done it twice, both times it crashed the phone to the point of having to Flashtool back to life. and i am certain it is VZ Navigator because it was the only application i removed.

I actually removed VZ Navigation before I remembered to check this thread after Zergrushing. I obviously haven't had this problem, which is strange, but I never launched the app at all. Or I'm lucky! It's been a week...

And i have never used it either, i just rooted it and needed to free up some space. Idk all i know is that this is very annoying...

Well try clearing its data, cache, etc and then getting rid of it? Sorry, but I've never had this happen to me...

Thanks for the list, didn't have the navigator problem My problem was deleting my avatar "preinstalledservice.apk" I keep him there to remind me of the day I lost him. Anyway Deleted all but the games, flash, browser, and all that was in red. little struggle with that verizon.hss or what-not didn't let me hit the power option onscreen. I have to say phone is running a lot faster, LOTS MORE RAM to enjoy on other things. any way thanks again for replying so fast

Make sure you clean your data folder with sd maid for more space in the data section!

I did. Plus I got link2Sd and cleand all app cache, and cleand dalvik cache now 213mb free space with 283mb freed Ram on bootup. Verry happy with my play. Thanks everybody

All my apps are my favourite, because if they wouldn't be, I wouldn't have them
Now ROM manager is the one I use most often, for experiments etc.
For paid apps I use aptoide, as I can't buy apps --' that's too bad!

Great list. I just rooted a backflip and installed CM7 on it. It is better than stock but I still needed to trim more fat so that the phone is actually usable.
I think I'm in love with Moto rooting/modding. Never got into it with LG or HTC. Now I want to go and get my Defy back...!!

Uninstalling the apps listed above would be totally safe no problems at all.

4)Yahoo Finance
and if u want u can remove MAPS if u dnt need it, coz it occupies hell lots of space.

Actually, they all increase the space of internal memory and thats it, it wont make a difference in performance or RAM (except MAPS).
You need to freeze these apps for max performance:
1) Wsynclmps
2) DRM content(DrmUA)
3) Pico TTS
4) TTS Service
5) Software Update(syncmldm)
6) syncmlds
7) Email
8) Email widget (remove these two if you use gmail app)
9) FmRadio (freeze it and unfreeze when needed, they sometimes makes some wakelocks)
10) Social hub,SNS integration and SnsAccount(SnsProvider.apk and SnsAccount.apk) (Freeze them if you dont use fb integration into phone, you can use fb app still)
11) Samsung Account(signin) ( Its crap, play store is way better)
I have the above all apks deleted and have no problem in my phone, just freeze them and unfreeze them if you face any problem or need to use any feature
