Thank you.

If you country is at 3.2, then it won't be ICS.
I don't think the firmware region matters too much though. I have a UK base on an Australian 7510 with no problems.

I'm in the same boat mate. Got my Note 3 a few weeks ago and was surprised to find a different mdoel N9007. Don't care about the knox status and really want to get rid of all the carrier bloatware. I can see the HK version of stock Samsung rom but not sure if it is suitable for our devices.

if it's the same model then it should work. You should check against your PDA version when you type *#1234#, if it is N9007ZH download the HK version, if it is N9007DI download the Australian version.

well, that is my problem. the only available firmware for my model is the carrier's firmware. there are no stock firmwares for Australia for my model.

Firmware is available on Sammobile but yes they are all carrier bloated.
For those of you still wondering, as long as you are on the 4.4.2 bootloader/modem, you can flash any aosp Rom and have no issues with mobile data or lte. The model number on your phone will change in the "about phone" section, bu if you can live with that, then no issues at all. I've just tried the Lollipop alpha build, and that worked fine, along with a bunch of other 4.4.4 AOSP roms and all ran smoothly.
I'd like to install a stock ROM in my Note 3 SM-N9005, but there are many ones. The one of my country is stuck with 4.3. Can I install a any stock ROM of any country and will it work?

I had 4.3 in the USA. I just installed one from Brazil off the SamMobile site. I just changed the language to English and deleted a few bloatware programs. It worked just fine.
I have a n9005 with knox set. It's running omega rom version 21. I haven't updated modem for a long time and the modem version was XXUENA2. So I thought oh it's about time to upgrade that. Then all hell broke lose.
I flashed to the latest DXUGNH1 and it was ok, but after rebooting the phone, I lost mobile data while voice was still ok. So I flashed again to XXUFNG2. This time the baseband version and IMEI number became unknown.
I then tried to flash to some other version and flash back to the old na2 version but nothing worked. I even tried "Fix Soft Brick Loop_ EFS partition" script thinking it might be an EFS problem but that didn't help either.
Now I'm sitting here trying to download a stock samsung rom to flash. Will that help, I don't know...
If anybody has any idea, please let me know. I'm desperate to get it fixed.

Thanks for the tip guys. Just before I go and download it, I just want to know whether there is a particular reason for flashing that version? Because I flashed NE3 official just now and the baseband is still unknown. If that's the case, will NG1 work instead? Hell, I'll just do it anyway and see I guess. Thanks again.
Your bootloader is new, and old modems not working on a new bootloader
sorry for bad english
I have the same problem, did you make any progress? ty.

I'm just gonna assume you're on the 935F version, since you didn't provide information.
But a good place too start is by looking here . Then, if u like, can always update your phone

Take a look at the changelist. Right now, 110166628 is the latest changelist. Nordic countries have at and Germany. I would go for a unbranded stock rom tho, if you gonna upgrade ( if not your carrier has the latest).

Hi there, just wondering does any Australian users who own G935FD flashed the Nougat beta firmware? Does it perfectly work with any carriers? And will I still receive OTA afterwards? Cuz I really want to try the new rom but couldn't find any official stock as backup. Many thanks

4) Official firmwares - flash via Odin. http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
I'm on Nougat Beta 1 flashed via odin. Definitely recommend.

I am an Australia user who flashed Nougat beta 1 as soon as it came out. Haven't had any real problem with it. It has minor bugs here and there but its good enough for my daily driver.

No I flashed a generic XSA CSC from the latest Marshmallow official firmware. Download and extract from the zip on Sammobile. This was an attempt to get Samsung Pay working, but it looks like they're disabled it for Nougat regardless of the CSC.

Thanks for remain, one thing I am still concerning that when I flash back to official stock, will I still get OTA? Since my Galaxy note4 is running on an official stock and still can receive OTA after I flashed many times of different ROMs.
