Yesterday i received the tf101 that i bought from ebay for a killer price and i have decided to sell my og tab since i will have no need for it anymore
I am posting here for current tab users [especially devs] to buy it off of me and have first crack at it.
I am selling it for $110 dollars, Ill have pictures of it soon if you need it
it has 2 minor chips around it but the screen is in perfect condition, scratch marks on the back [Not deep] and the sim card slot does not work [received it that way off ebay] so it is essentially a wifi-only tab
to the mods: If thiss post is not accepted here, please by all means delete the thread, i am just trying to help some devs test on the variant version of the OG Tab
PM Me, Thank you guys

I don't own one, I'm over in the nook color forums mostly. Just thought someone might like to know if they were thinking of buying.
You do have the option of sprint 3g with this one.

I saw this too....Not bad. Only issue I have with this deal is that it's refurbished with only a 90-day warranty from woot and then you're on your own if it takes a crap.
hmmmm........

Return and get this one. Unless eBay one is new.
In Australia they are going for 299 new
swyped from a galaxy far far away...
Ok... i want one but i guess they dont send to sweden...
Given this deal, can the Sprint Tab be rooted and connected to Verizon's CDMA 3g, or is it permanently tied to Sprint's 3g network?
I'm thinking about buying it. I'm on the Viewsonic G Tablet forum only, so I don't know much about the Galaxy Tab development. How functional is the Honeycomb port for the Galaxy Tab? I just got Honeycomb installed on my GTab and so far its really good for an alpha build. The only thing not working is flash plugin, camera, and video hardware acceleration.
I just got mine from their last sale, and it works great, have had some over the air upgrades. I, too, have a viewsonic. I like the Galaxy size and the main reason was the built in GPS... Makes the Copilot work more reliable compared to the bluetooth Viewsonic. Of course the Viewsonic big screen is nicer to read documents and web...

Just bought one. I've got the wifi only version right now and really enjoy it. I'm listing that guy on ebay right now and I'm going to start the auction at $260 or so. It'll sell and I'll basically get upgraded hardware (faster processor, BT 3.0) at no cost. I'm down with that.
this must be limited availability... this is monster deal for 3G. thats 180euro
So If I have a current sprint plan with unlimited data, can this be added just like an extra line? obviously that wouldn't include the sprint hotspot. Or, will they require a separate plan?
I am about to hit Buy now, but is it worth it. Any serious opinions on the device from real users is what I like to hear, not reviewers. I own an iPad 2, which is hard to beat. Im no apple_boy either. Its the best thats why I own. Anyways I want a new Android tablet, I have owned one last year (Camangi WebStation) but I want to give it another go. How is the DEVin here, are there a few good ROMs?
I'm in for one, ready to upgrade from my Nook Color. Looking forward to the 1ghz processor and ff camera.

There are a few ROMs available... not near as active as say the HD2 forums or the Xoom forums... Overcome is pretty much the dominant ROM for GSM tabs. Alterbridge has both a 2.2 and a 2.3 rom available at the moment, and Spacemoose1 is currently working on development for Honeycomb for both the GSM and CDMA devices. If I didn't have one of these already, I'd be buying it... Someone point Deeper-Blue to this post so He and Space can develop HC together...
I've got a Nook Color as well and I am considering buying the G Tab on Woot too.
Not sure if I am going to pull the trigger on it, though. Besides cameras and a mic, what else would it give me that my rooted Nook Color doesn't have?
so it might be worth it. I was about to pull the trigger on the ASUS Transformer, but I went to best Buy this morning and it was sold out. I was available online there for like the past 3 days, now SOLD OUT
But I keep seeing these Galaxy Tabs for sale, some pretty good deals, its making me wonder if I should go Honeycomb, the post for this could be a ways away.
Put one on order for my dad, he's been drooling over my g tablet but I'm sure he'll be happy with one of these galaxy tabs. Couldn't beat the price.
Deal hit slickdeals, better hurry

Would this work in India? Reliance CDMA. Oh, and I cant seem to find any info about it having a sim card slot or not
Like new. I have the original boxes. Barely used it 3-4 times. I put it it in the marketplace and on Craigslist but I figured I'd put it here too.
I'm looking for something I can tinker with. Perhaps any one with a Galaxy 10.1 that wish they gotten an iPad 2 instead?
I paid $700 for the 3G version and Smart Cover after tax. It works well but I'm looking to tinker and flash.
Send me a PM here or check out my craigslist posting. I've had lots of offers for Xooms and a few Asus Transformers and 1 Galaxy Tab 10.1 but decided to stick with it.
Selling only allowed in Marketplace.
I am thinking of a buying a Galaxy Tab 10.1. The asking price is $300 obo so it is negotiable. Is this a good decision or not?
I am rather uninformed about the current tablet scene so any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
No. Google has just announced the Nexus 10 which is $399 for the 16GB version. The seller is likely trying to sell now so they can trade up before people jump on the current round of new devices and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is worth even less.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is outdated already and Samsung will not be providing anymore software updates for it. (Although I'm sure there will be people saying that it's not 100% certain and their web petitions may cause Samsung to miraculously change their minds and spend more money on getting Android 4.1 released to this device)
Nexus 10. Dream tablet.

Another nexus 10 recommendation, unless its too expensive (I'd recommend waiting and saving up for the difference if money is an issue) or if you must have mobile data on your tablet (if you can tether from your phone this isn't an issue, or if you will always have an available wifi connection).
No way...go for the Nexus 10.

The tab 10.1 will likely not be getting official jelly bean + The screen is not as good as other offerings right now. I think the nexus 10 with its much better screen, and straight from google updates is a much better device for $100 more. Also, where do you live? Used 16 gb tab 10.1s can be had for under $250 off Kijiji in most Canadian cities, and I'd bet it's similar in the states.
Asking $300? Ask him/her if u can punch them in the mouth for offering it @ such a silly price! For that, you might as well spend a few more bucks and buy it retail so you get a warranty with it. On eBay, most working 1st gen S.G 10.1 tabs average between $200-250, depending on the condition and what comes with it. Or you can do what I did and buy a broken one and repair it yourself.
I bought one with a broken screen on eBay for $99 + s/h. Ordered a new LCD for $55 and digitizer for $22 which totals about $175 that I spent on the tab.. which beats buying a working one for more than what it's worth. The 1st generation tab is still a good pick, better than the 2nd gen some say, as long as you're rooted w/ a custom rom and o/c capable kernel installed.
So, if you really want a 1st gen. galaxy tab 10.1, I'd say offer him $200. Otherwise, try eBay or hold out for something better, like mentioned above.
-*Slapping you upside the head from my Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7510*-
grab the Nexus 10

+1 Nexus 10
Fiancee has a Nexus 7 that rocks so if you don't need a 10 inch screen save some dough and get the 7.

You would have to troubleshoot on your laptop as well. Like reinstalling drivers and such if you didn't attempt that.
Back when it was released it was a good tablet. But with very bad support from Samsung, it lost it's grip.

Im sure that the issue is not related to my laptop since i have tried 3 laptops with no luck.
The drivers re-installed more than 10 times. Moreover the other Samsung devices recognized by same laptop properly !
im going to send it to service center
So, my question is
I have the US Cellular 16gb Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 that Im selling but not sure what price I should aim for.
I know I purchased it for 289.00 about a year ago. So I was thinking like 240 - 220? what do you guys think is fair?
I would suggest looking on swappa and eBay to get an idea of prices. Please don't ask in forum. We no longer have an 'in forum' sales area. I'll close this in case it turns into an I'll give you '$x' but good luck with selling your tab.
Regards
Chris
Perhaps that the release of S4 will lead to a price drop for the S3
At 300$, the GT S3 would be a good deal and could have a second (mostly a first) life, who knows?
Remember what happened to the HP TouchPad a few years ago: from Hate to Love with only a good drop of its price
I hope development community will grow up
Tab S2 new is still over 300$, but I did just buy an S3 for 100$ off today. I didn't want to pay 550$ so I waited and got it for 450$. That isn't too too bad of a price.

Yes, it's sad that there are official TWRP and LineageOS for all other S Series tabs except this one...

I took my s2 back from my wife, and gave her my s3, due to almost zero development for the 820.

Ad will you take it back from her, if the S3 is coming back from the dead one day?
Yup, I just bought the 128gb Tab S3 for $300 from best buy (open box, excellent condition. Looks brand new with no signs of use.). I also got the Samsung keyboard cover. Planning to use it as a travel laptop for light work. Got termux, Nodejs, express all running well.
I still can't believe I was able to get this for $300 and have been trying to find if there are any issues before my return window closes.

I got the same thing at Best Buy a 128 GB. I wanted to check my end to make sure it was all good before the return window closed also. But... I flashed magisk and found out that somebody already unlock the bootloader because the Knox was tripped before I messed with it. So I think if I try to return it they might say it was ineligible for return Maybe but I don't care it's a pretty cool deal.
I hope so too. I got lucky and found a local deal on Letgo selling a new Tab S3 with $250 back in Spring. It was a freaking steal.
