I always found my Tab had great battery life as well. I can leave it for a day or more and pick it up to look something up and the battery is practically where I left it the last time.

18 days and counting with 22% battery left for me, amazing standby time. Nexus 7 is getting the most use at the moment. :crying:
Cool
That looks insane! What ROM are you running? :cyclops:
CM10 Preview, its perfect for me as I only use my Tab 10.1 to watch youtube. Stand by time is awesome!

So my s5 is at 75% with just 40 minutes of screen on time, so by this math it'll be about 2.5 hours screen time when it dies on it's twelfth hour. It seems to me like the battery should be better. Is this similar to what others are getting. Usually android proces/system aren't at the top but they are here.

lol mine is at 3hrs at 50% so my math says that i will prob get 7hrs screen on time...
my recommendation would be that you check on what apps you are installing and see the phone settings screen brightness, etc

I don't have hardly anything installed, besides if it was some app I'm pretty sure it would show up on the battery stats, that's why I'm confused.
I'm running Hyde right now and I love it, but something seems to be killing my battery quickly. I'm not blaming Hyde at all, just wanted to point out the fact I was running a custom rom.
I do have a original galaxy gear that has Tizen flashed, but prior to rooting I was getting a full day on a single charge. Now I'm getting only about 6 hours. I posted a couple of screenshots below.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to why android and screen on would be tearing up my battery so much when I don't have my phone screen on constantly?

Are you using a custom battery or the original battery?
It's an OEM battery. I have xposed with greenify installed as well.
I've got my Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F running stock rom rooted with CF-Autoroot and debloated with titanium backup.
Since I first got the phone I started checking the battery stats, and from they beginning they seem off, as you can see in theese images:
So this is the first screen I get when I open up the smartmanager battery app:

The strange thing happen when I click "Battery usage", as you can see, there is a 13 hours difference:
How can I fix this, which one do I rely on, is there another, better app I can replace this one with?
Thank you
Anyone?
Top image is estimated battery time left at current usage
Bottom image is estimated battery left at idle, although this changes drastically if you are heavily using the battery before checking stats
Does not seem right either, left my phone with screen off for twelve hours yesterday, and only about 3% down on the battery, which should make it stay on for far more than 1 day 7 hours?

The battery life depends on many factors.
People use the phone different, so there are different SOT (screen on time). The apps which you are using (facebook etc.) matters too.
Also, the battery lifespan gets degraded over time.
In the first months of using my phone, i used to get 8-12h SOT running stock rom with a black theme (black themes helps at conserving battery since our display is Amoled; ask Google about this for more info).
Nowdays, im getting 6-8h on stock / CM based rom, but im using the phone different too. I might use a black theme again just to see what SOT i get
On custom rom my screen lives 6-7 hours
Which Custom rom do you use
I got 10 hours, using a5ux
I got more than two days

Max i've got was four days
But screen on is just 6 h
It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Samsung Galaxy fold before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

Only had it a week, getting decent battery life but Android System usage seems to be higher than my Galaxy Tab S4 and my Galaxy Note 9. It's either first or second. Seems odd.
Not really got good screen on time as been busy packing and moving house
Had mine for a couple of days only and very impressed with the battery live vs my Galaxy S20 Exynos.
Around 7:30 Hours SOT is very impressive considering the screen size.
