I just wanted to post a thanks to Moscow Desire for the work on the A501. Being unable to post in development forums meant I couldn't put this in the correct thread sorry mods.
But cheers MD -my sluggish A501 sparked a new lease of life with Evil Alex V1 and I'll flash V2 tomorrow.
Thanks for your no doubt huge time investment and continued support.

No Problem. Glad it's going ok. IF V1 works ok, then not a lot of reason to go to V2. V2 can be a little tempermental on a couple of tabs.
However, I have some other stuff in the works. Shoot me a PM when you get the chance.

I wanted to add to this thank you for MD. He took a god bit of time to help me out the other day when I was having issues getting my A501 rooted and flashed. I was in panic mode but he helped me get through it and I'm now rooted and running his awesome ROM. Thanks again for helping me out over the weekend.

Thanks. I think I speak for a lot of folks here in the forums, when I say that we'll help you all in any way possible. Maybe one person's tricks might not work, but another's will. Sometimes, as in a lot of cases, it takes a combined effort.
We expect you to do the same with other users.
@pside15 I told you to have a few beers. Keeps the nerves settled
You folks have fun. The 500/501 is really an awesome tab.

Since the year is coming to a close soon, I thought it'd be nice to say, "Thanks" to everyone involved here. And when I say everyone, I mean across all devices and threads here on xda. I've learned more than I could ever have imagined in the 3.5 months I've been here. You have all been so helpful and understanding to not only me, but others in need of proper help, toast to you all!
I would also like to thank all those before us that put so much effort into deving and these forums. Without them, this wouldn't be as far along as it is current day and I definitely raise a huge turkey leg to them, never forget how you got somewhere...
Special thanks goes out to...
Conap - Most people need to understand... this guy has kept our eris community afloat with his tenacious abilities to fix issues with Froyo working on the eris, Many, MANY thanks to you sir! You've helped me understand this whole process and have been most patient and insightful, you didn't have to do any of that, that's why I appreciate it and would like to say thanks personally! Conap for Pres! lol
tazzpatriot - for being tazz, and helping me learn the basics of rom editing, many many thanks to you too, bro we ALL hope you get better soon!
Captainkrtek - for being a great mod and always helping others, including me. Thank you my friend.
There are too many more to name all, but those few have helped me out the most in my quest to dev roms... I thank you.
I posted this in here in hopes mostly eris dev's would see it, I hope it can stay through thanksgiving day at least.
Let's hear from some thankful xda members ...
+1billion......

I guess if showing appreciation to other dev's, being a dev myself, is being "gay" ... then I'm a flamin' Homo!
I'll even give you a great big gay man hug, c'mon here boy! lol
You all have truly made having my Eris a more enjoyable and less hated experience. Thank you devs and Happy Turkey Day!

Thanks too Kaos and all the other devs. Without out u I would be stuck with stock 2.1

I would like to add my thanks to all the devs and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!
I really appreciate all you do. I just had to get a replacement Eris so I unrooted and went back to stock for a day in prep for sending it back. The difference between stock and what you guys do is like night and day.
I'm a dev, but not Android (yet). Hope to join your ranks soon and contribute too.
Cheers, lads. Thanks to you, I'll almost be sad to see my Eris go if/when it does.
Thanks to all the eris devs. You made the time I had my eris much more enjoyable. And I must say, no one pumps out roms like eris devs. The d2 only has like 2 good roms. Keep the eris alive!!!
Sent from my Motorola Droid 2 with Fission 2.1
Thanks too all who have made my Eris livable again. Don't know how I ever suffered through stock 2.1, much less 1.5. Keep up the amazing work and, when the time comes, hope too see you on the other side.

There is no way this phone would still be as useful as it is without these ROMS.
It amuses me to no end when some one comes up to me at work with their Droid X and are asking where a setting is and I pick up my dinky little Eris and start exploring the 2.2 menus. I almost immediately get asked how I did that.
To which I reply "By rooting my phone and loading a custom ROM".
The follow up is frequently. "Can you do it to mine ? To which I chuckle and say "Nope, better not. You can easily find out how, but your on your own."
PRICELESS !!! So hats off guys, for making my phone last through so much more of my contract.
Thank you very much This just made my evening, happy thanksgiving to you all and hope you all have a good time with your families!
To Team EDT, TW, and all the independent devs out there. I've been a lurker on these boards for months now, learning and reading. I've rooted, flashed and odin'd just about everything that's been offered. You are doing fantastic work and I just wanted to say thank you. Wish I could have hit the thanks button a few times, but evidently I haven"t posted enough yet. Thanks again!

Nice post ...... nice to see
Well said.
I had never attempted any form of modification to any of my phones. Not my G1 or this. I finally got the bug, and by just following the AMAZING posts from the devs, I've rooted, rom'd, and kernel'd my phone with NO issues and loving every minute of it.
I have tried about 89% of the roms listed. This is my first post here though; and I wanted to say thank you to all the devs for everything they have done. My evo has been on overdrive. It's been very enjoyable trying all the roms. I have to say so far my fav's are Miui (not the latest), cm6/7, all of Myns, Mikfroyo, and Virus, my god, kicks for sense. I have been 10 minutes away from running my evo over with my truck at least 3 times and only been able to fix it because of XDA and its users. So thank you all, and whats up, im Frank!
welcome to xda.... watch out for the sharks & wolfs!
thanks man, my first post but ive been here reading for a while. i really just want to get enough posts to help people and join in on the development forums, so i guess i need to give 8 more opinions after this. thanks for the warning, im not really worried about any one on the computer. but i'll keep an eye out for those virtual sharks just in case bro thanks again for the welcome.
Welcome to the posting world! Took me a while too.

Frank, I can vouch for being close to running over my EVO at least 3-4 times. However, the great folks on Myn's thread got me through it each and every time that I thought I had borked my EVO. It has been a steep learning curve for me but I can finally say my confidence level is much better.

Wow. Weird way to forum if I have to post something here 10 times in order to participate in another thread.
I tried root for first time and did the Newt ICS for evo3d - it is soooo smooth and snappy. I don't know what all those blessed with posting rights are doing - I just followed the instructions and happy as pig in sh_t with my new interface.
Anyway - somebody can tell Newt to take a breath and get a little well deserved sleep tonight... that update can wait till the weekend.
Thanx buddy

Don't spam for 10 posts. Why on Earth would anyone in the HD2 forums care about your Evo 3D? The ONLY place you should consider posting things randomly is the off-topic thread. Please either just use your knowledge to help people or use the off-topic and general threads, but do not unnecessarily clutter up the forums, especially the forums of other devices.
Mr. Moderator, if this is not going well here, if not I apologize.
@Randomblame Hello, I can not write as developing your Jelly time, I'm writing here to thank you for your great work.
Sorry for my English, I write through google translator.
I've tried all the betas from the 4, and I encourage you to continue with this great work, regardless of unfortunate opinions.
Thank you very much, fantastic huge rom and your contribution.
A greeting from Spain.

I'm still in beta 7. I suppose that I will flash beta 14 .

And another newbie who cannot Post in Dev Section.
Just flashed B13 and its amazing. Recognized the Camera bug, but nothing else yet. But I'm testing.
Great job randomblame! Thank you!
It's good in a way that Noobs can't post in dev section. Have you guys try using the thanks button. I think all devs know you all thank them for there hard work. Also it makes it hard to find out fixes and other problems when a thread is full of " thanks" . But you should just hit the thanks button or you can support by donation . Sorry to sound like an @$$

Xda thank all their tremendous work, I use the thanks button often, when I'm NOT going to use the donation, I am in crisis. On the new there is a saying new
"the most foolish pawn can teach you something every day"
Grateful for your reply sir. Greetings.

And another one that says a big THANK YOU.
I am following it since beta 1 and first installed beta 6.
What an impressive progress in this few weeks!!!
Great work again!
Support! This is my first JB ROM and it's been splendid! Currently on Beta 12 and it's just awesome. I can really feel the smoothness of the ROM as compared to when I was on ginger or ICS

It may be good most N00bs can't post in dev. section.
But what if you want to post a bug and/or a log for example.
I wanted to do so, when I first saw I cannot post in dev section.
And now I've got to post somewhere I do not want to post, to be allowed to post in dev section some time...
:good: to randomblame
I tried to flash this rom, but noticed that there are many green lines when tried to use panorama mode in camera. Any idea?
The rom is fantastic, it really shows how much better jellybeans feels when compared to ICS or even older versions...
So thanks from me too, if you fix the video playback issues (reboots) this will be my one and only rom...
one more
I join the thank given. Its my first JB rom and I was impressed so smooth...
thanks so much, keep good working!!!
Thanks to JellyTime I didn't upgrade my phone to the One X =)
imo, jellytime still isnt worth flashing. not rly convinced of it
All we got to do is thank those developers, 'cause HTC is giving a damn to their customers...
The greatest thanks that can be given to a developer is the knowledge that the people he/she shares their work with learned something and grew as a user. Want to show them real thanks? Dig in and make something for the ROM. A theme, boot animation, splash screen....something to show them you are learning.

(always fully wiped before installation)
