I think your battery is problem..maybe you should try to open your tab and pull the battery cable out for about 10 min and then put the cable back.. Check for video in YouTube for how to dissamble the tab.. Hope that help you..

Make sure you are using proper 2000mA charger. I have had issues with battery in my GT-P6800 using el cheapo adapter in the car. It was advertised as 2A charger but would put out only 900mA after it got hot.
Just finished charging GT-P1000N on AC charger and plugged into USB. HumberOS CM10

If you are yoing to attemt to pull the battery be careful. Watch the video carefully and then try it. you do not want to damage any of the clips or internals.

On a full charge with no wifi, no sync, lowest brightness, no gps etc I'm getting roughly 1 to 2 hours of talk time and maybe a total of 4 to 5 hours battery life with the screen off. I pretty much have to travel everywhere with a charger and its starting to drive me nuts.
Is it worth it to switch to another distro ? Anyone else having this issue ?
Are you on the latest version? I'm using version 2.3 and it lasts more than 24 hours on a single charge.
I guess you have to replace your battery, mate
wow ... 24 hours :-.
Can you post your statistics ?

These numbers are off btw due to the constant charging every few hours.

What kind of drain are you getting in terms of mA? Download current widget and check this. It should be 4 or 5 mA in standby.

Do u use any app2sd script? in 2.0 some people got an extremly high battery drain, because of app2sd (~50-70mA on Standby). Maybe try to reflash u're rom without any app2sd and check the drain again.
Sorry for the late reply, guys. I've been busy lately. Well, here is a screenshot of my HD2 after a day of moderate use running TyTung's NexusHD2 ICS v2.3

Hmm looks fine, i think you need to get a new battery?
Hi everyone,
I searched the forum for a satisfactory answer yet I don't seem to find one so I'm going to ask here...
I have the habit of plugging my Nexus 4 as soon as I get home, keep it plugged overnight, and unplug it the next day when going to work. About two weeks ago I noticed that occasionally the phone indicates that the phone is fully charged yet, some minutes afterwards it indicates that the battery is at 98-99% and is charging again. I was quite intrigued so I started using some battery applications (e.g. Battery Widget Reborn) and I now notice that the "problem" is quite frequent and happens every single time the phone is plugged (I tried withe the original USB cable that came with the phone as well as with other cables). Attached is an image showing the weird pattern that I'm having...
Does any one have the same problem ? Anyone cares to explain to me why this is happening ???

Isn't that done on purpose? You don't want to keep charging at 100% so the phone discharges after reaching 100% for a while.

When 100% is reached, the battery, for the best of my knowledge, is not used... Therefore, I find that it discharges very very quickly for an unused battery !
Mine does that as well. I thought that was normal?

It's Normal as phone batteries reach 100, discharge a bit and stays there. Btw ROM + Kernel?

Just stock Android 4.2.2
How quickly it uses that small amount of battery that kicks it back into charge mode is going to depend on what you have running and syncing in the background.

My nexus 7 have been fine till a few days ago until the 4.3 update rolled out, I have been using a slightly damaged charger(The chargers cable has some cuts). After the 4.3 update it seems I have had a hard time powering on the nexus 7 after its battery goes to 0%. I have been using my nexus 7 alot on gaming like 5-8hrs per day and i play mostly by charging at the same time (playing while charging).
after 4.3 came out my nexus 7 lost it root, i rooted i again. could this be a problem?
its been 3 days now my nexus 7 hasn't been charging well, it only charges upto 1% i can power it on but it power offs in a flash.
Is the battery damaged ?
Do i need to purchase a new battery?
i need some quick help pls i am missing my nexus 7 like hell now . :crying::crying:

Try a non stock charger.. Any other microusb charger may help along with some patience of letting it charge for sometime . I have been experiencing great battery life with my n7 with the latest 4.3 update.

I'm having a funky wakelock issue. Over the last couple of days I've had a PhoneApp partial wakelock that's been running almost continuously while the phones been off the charger. Today a new one related to the phone popped up. I've attached screen shots and dump files from better battery stats so hopefully someone can help me figure out what's going on.

I also have the log cat file if needed.
Do you have any MOD that enables the Torch/Flashlight to work from the lockscreen by long pressing volume up or down? I used to have that on and it killed battery from my experience
I do have that mod enabled although I have had it enabled for months and have not had any issues with it draining battery.

Yeah I would disable it for process of elimination to see if that's the cause.
Or another route is do you remember if you restarted your phone since you unplugged it off of the charger? Try to restart your phone everytime you take it off of a charger with the MOD enabled to see if that corrects it
I don't know why this fixed it but it did. I wonder what the developer changed in the coding to cause this to be an issue now

I read that not only the long press for torch but also the long press for music controls did the same thing. Thought it would be a great idea until I read about the power drain

With the note 3's massive battery I was still finishing an 18 hour day with 40-50 percent remaining but anything that hits battery life, in particular anything that keeps the phone from deep sleeping, has got to go.
For me it's not so much about day to day battery life as it is about long term battery health

So I'm running Danvdh's GPE ROM on my S4 on 4.4.2 and in the last few days my charging has become really slow. I'm using Samsung's charger that came with the S4 but the charge seems to be trickling in and the S4's battery isn't doing so well either, 7 hours with 3 hours screen on time.
In the kernel app it shows that the charging current is 1A, which is lower than the 2.1 the Samsung charger usually outputs, you can change the charging current in this kernel app however I haven't done so, I've even reset the settings to default but still the issue persists

The battery could be going up. Sometimes when they fail they fail in a hurry. Like they go from working fine to bad overnight.
Other times they gradually decline in quality over many months.
If you have access to another battery that's always a good thing to try first.

sometime the battery bugged..try this
pulled out the battery for 30 minutes and get it back in and charge normally.
Why is there the assumption that 3 hours screen on time is not good? It's perfectly normal.
It can be 2 things.
Your charger, so try a different charger of the rom/kernel you are using.
